The Insurgent SUV is a total waste of $$$ You cant rely on it too keep you alive. The Karuma is irreplaceable in regards to overall protection. I'm sure everyone know this but I thought id just throw it out there;)

Tell you what, you take your kuruma, go aginst someone half your level in a insurgent. Okay Atheist1269?

Atheist1269? Hello? you still around?

Sorry, I'm the type that believe there are no dump questions. But to make a statement as of matter of fact when you obviously did no real research at all on this, isn't being smart.

(Takes 1 google search and less than a few minutes to find out)

Seeing as sooo many are explosives nuts, I remain in my Surge for just that purpose. A quick 180 and reverse attack prevents excessive death from bullets. Plus, you can't beat the smashing power.

1 explosive to deny an AK attacker and a simple 7k insurance bill.

At least 5 explosives to deny a Surge attacker and an 18k insurance bill.

If this was Sophie's choice, the movie would have been over far sooner.

Last time I checked, the insurance on the Insurgent was changed to around 6k.

So it's not 16k anymore? On LG, it's still 16.8k for me. I was reading somewhere on here that it changed for NG after the most recent Pegasus sale...

Plausible. If the recent "1.35 mil ultra-expensive unarmed Insurgent" bug on CG was any indication, the Insurgent's 2.5%-of-price insurance (all other cars are 1.25%, including the Elegy when it was sold on PC for 95k) may have been the result of the car actually costing 1.35 mil internally but being on a perpetual, invisible 50%-off sale on Warstock.

If Rockstar fixed the 1.35 mil problem by replacing the perpetual sale with an actual price decrease to 675k, it is natural that the insurance cost would be halved along with it.

That said, I cannot verify the change as I haven't paid for an Insurgent for a long time (I shoot the others out, and it's kind of hard to have my own 100%-armored Insurgent blow up).

Hold X / A while driving to duck, plus wearing armor pretty much bullet proof, the Karuma is a death trap you can be killed via bullets, rockets and other boom boom items,

I havent noticed the insurgent being any better at keeping folks alive except protecting against explosive wielding people with a seemingly unending supply of cash to pay for said explosives. It is easier to shoot someone in an insurgent (a lot easier) but harder to blow up. Kuruma is easier to blow up (like one explosive) but near impossible to shoot someone sitting in it (unless they hold still for you). I don't own an insurgent, but have ridden with others many times. Seems pretty useless to me for PvE ... marginally less useless for PvP .. certainly better than a normal car ... but PvP is best done on foot so that you don't present an easy target and can quickly duck down alleys and such to flank people...

Since the moment that I didn't even read that somebody wrote 6k.

The correct amount of a 1.25% insurance for the Insurgent would be $8,438 (rounded up), down from its unique 2.5% insurance of $16,875. I wouldn't be surprised if the guy saying 6k only looked at the amount of digits and ignored the actual number because let's face it, most people don't really care how much they've actually paid these days.

Randoms with Kuruma means that they know what they are doing most of the time.

LOL! Far from that. They dont know what the hell to do most of the time and when they step out of their kuruma theyre dead in a minute.

I had to pay 16k on the Insurgent's premium recently. It was probably only 6k because the person ran out of money.

I suppose the reason for many people spelling it as 'Karuma' is because it's pronounced that way. We usually say it like 'Karuma', so people just naturally spell it as that.

I would not say that, OP. It is decent against NPC's as long as you have a gunner and you guys do not allow yourselves to be swarmed. As far other players are concerned, it works well in Free Aim as long as you are keeping a VERY short count on how many explosives it ate. Almost useless in Auto Aim because the gunner can be locked on and killed from the right angle.
