Karuma is slow???? In relation to what? A Jet? My Karuma is fully modded and is a hell of a lot faster than an Insurgent.

My fully upgraded Kuruma tops at 80 mph. That's not exactly fast. My fully upgraded Insurgent max speed is about the same, except a little more than 80 mph.

Speedometers are wrong. They're there for mostly cosmetic reasons, to be honest. The Armoured Kuruma has a top speed of 110 mph when driving on a straight flat road, which is 2 mph slower than the regular Kuruma. It does, however, have very good acceleration, even better than the regular Kuruma.

Other way around bro

the kuruma is good for pve, making it so easy its boring tbh ( i see them in contact missions literally every time i play with randoms and its pathetic). otherwise its a deathtrap.

Some people think it's the only option for contact missions, here is a text from some random I picked up in a mission

What is wrong with the amount of illiterate people that just can't seem to fathom that's how it's spelt?

They aren't hooked on phonics.

The heavier car is capable of being hurtled using its momentum to higher speeds but takes longer to get there due to its weight...the lighter car accelerates faster due to being lighter but has a slower top speed due to having less weight and momentum carrying it.

Not trying to pick a fight I like you.

I never exhibited any signs of hostility and opposition towards you.

The Armoured Kuruma does indeed have better acceleration for some odd reason, but a slightly lower top speed.

Here's proof:

I swear broughy said differently man

He's right, but that's not the case with the Kurumas though. I even pointed this out to him in one of his videos, but received no reply.

Snrk.

"OMG he isn't driving a 'Ruma in a gunfight, what a noob." - said a noob.

Reminds me of old days, where a Entity or Zentorno was a must have because of armored ass.

Nah nah nah Gta 6

Insurgent has a bulletproof back, and explosive protection is way better than being safe from bullets, the insurgent can also completely destroy traffic by pushing cars out the way.

Insurgent > Kuruma.

Insurgent > Kuruma.

Well, you still have a small window where you can still get shot out of.

Yeah but it's so small you can barely shoot through it.

This just proves the amount of cowards there are out there. If they need an armored car for everything, just wow... Before we even had armored vehicles, missions with randoms were sometimes fun. Now its "get into my Kuruma"... dude f*ck your Kuruma. Be a man.

Same with the Z-Type, but it's still possible. I've been shot out before.

I take my Akuma bike to the "Get Some Bikes" portion of Pac Standard. I also get messaged "GET IN THE KUMUMA!1" f*ck that. It's faster on a bike and I actually get to shoot at people as opposed to sitting in a back seat while some knob with a twitchy finger careens wildly around.

People aren't very good at shooting at Z-Types. I'll take mine over an Insurgent crutch any day.

I play heists religiously pretty much daily and 9 times out of 10 players with no Armored cars get slaughtered on most setups that require evading or fighting tons of bad guys or cops.

And dying wastes time and money in this game so I'd rather take the Kuruma noon than John Rambo on a bike or supercar

Stop playing with randoms, that's the problem.

this may sound mean, but practice 'ducking' while you drive and shoot (And DO NOT 'hold right button' when shooting, you do not duck when your aiming, LEARN where the receptical 'appears' when you first start to shoot, learn to time between enemy 'reloads' and learn how bad 'steering' is when ducking, but for the most part, really get good with ducking at the right times(And reloading armor/snacks when on the move)

ALso, biggest thing, insurgent has a nice huge booty, use that booty as a wall between you and whoevers shooting at you.

Yes, compared to the kuruma, the insurgent does not provide much protection from bullets, but it is MORE than pretty much ANY other vehicle.

Karuma should be updated so side windows act like the newer armored Shafter v12, etc. once the user shoots out of a window the protection is ruined.

Additionally, the front and rear glass is 100% BP so why can we magically shoot out of the vehicle if nobody can shoot in? There should be no way to shoot out the front and rear.

The Armoured Kuruma was probably Rockstar's biggest mistake regarding GTA:O. It has made players lazy and gave them ridiculous expectations from all other vehicles. You don't need that level of bullet protection for contact missions or for heists. Therefore, we don't need any other vehicles with that level of bullet protection.

My fully upgraded Kuruma tops at 80 mph. That's not exactly fast. My fully upgraded Insurgent max speed is about the same, except a little more than 80 mph.

Armoured Kuruma tops at 110 mph, Insurgent at 98. If you race the two side by side on a highway, you will see the Insurgent never catches up to a Kuruma. Do not trust in game speedometers. You sure? I saw the my Kuruma struggling to reach over 80 on the top speed freemode event. I guess I'll need to check again. For other vehicles, the speedometer is exactly what the top speed is during that freemode event. Sometimes, the top speed may go a bit over when going down a slight ramp, which is why a Bati can reach 150 mph or a T20 at 140, but it's only for a split second. Edited by SPECTER II

It's not magic, there are one way bulletproof glass, although with limited durability, but it's based on something real, not magic.

Quite interesting.

But does it handle salvos as good as it handles single shots?

I also find it stupid, that the Shafter sometimes spawns without glass in missions or when you try to shoot from outside, the character casually shatters the multilayer triplex with his elbow, (!) also thus exposing himself.

I'd really like to see a armored blinds upgrade for new armored vehicles, but i guess we'll have to rely on 'Ruma for that.
