Not bullet proof at all!

The Insurgent SUV is a total waste of $$$ You cant rely on it too keep you alive. The Karuma is irreplaceable in regards to overall protection. I'm sure everyone know this but I thought id just throw it out there;)

The Insurgent provides good explosive protection but very little bullet protection. The Kuruma is the other way around.

The other armored stuff like the Baller LE's and Schafters are somewhere in between.

When you've got a jet after you, you really appreciate your Insurgent's explosives resistance.

The Kuruma has no answer to that.

If all you need is bullet resistance ... Well the moment a Kuruma attacks me it's getting blown up. So yeah ...

Actually Ballers and Shafters are a total waste of money. Insurgent can take about 4 direct RPG hits but never claimed to be bulletproof.

Kuruma is slow and vulnerable to explosives. Plus, you cannot use explosives in it.

Karuma is slow???? In relation to what? A Jet? My Karuma is fully modded and is a hell of a lot faster than an Insurgent.

With the insurgent and kuruma you get the 2 sides of the coin, protection from explosions and protection from bullets and each have their own specific purpose.

The other armored cars are more for getting away with their bullet-resistant windows.

Insurgent is still the most fun vehicle in the game.

But hey, thanks for starting a thread to inform everyone about something that we already knew. You gonna start a thread about how many grenades we can carry?

Why? is it infringing on your delicate sensibilities?

You don't know me very well. I am as delicate as a razor wire magnum condom.

That's exactly what I count on Kuruma drivers thinking, right up until I ram into them with the Insurgent and set off the sticky bomb carefully pre-placed on the front bumper right in their face.

It was only a matter of time before an asinine comment was going to surface. Congrats!

Glad you can see how asinine your first post was.

I don't need bulletproof. The problem is missiles will kill me when I am inside the Insurgent. The truck is protected but not the driver. So I never use it except when I'm annoyed with traffic.

Oh yeah, Kuruma drivers are some of the easiest to kill. Owing mostly to the fact that they cant use sticky bombs, grenades, or proximity mines.

I love ramming cars with my Insurgent, pinning them, and blowing them up. When it comes to the Kuruma, sometimes I'll even throw a sticky on them and let them drive away for a while. Make them think they have escaped and then BOOM.

I mean really, the only thing a Kuruma driver has to protect them from other drivers is the hope that players won't want to blow up the Kuruma and pay the insurance or accrue bad sport points. They are easy as hell to blow up.

the insurgent's main body are bulletproof ( minus the windshield and the rear part , where the occupant can be shot through ) . however , engine are still weak aganist bullet or even fire

for god sake , it's armored Kuruma , only 90% bulletproof ( observed in some missions , particulary rooftop rumble , where NPCs usually able to scratch the occupant ) . though , the tires aren't bulletproof from the start and again , the engine still weak aganist bullets ( to take even more effect , minigun takes 333 ammo to destroy a kuruma )

The Kuruma is the other way around.

The Armored Kuruma has a lot less bullet protection than it use to. It needs buffed a little so the word 'Armored' is at least decently true.

Try driving reverse when you're with Insurgent. The back window is smaller.

The Insurgent is a free roam monster while the Kuruma is a mission workhorse. Stop using vehicles in what they don't excel in.

Bulletproofing would be nice for the Insurgent, of course, but on a whole I find it rather irrelevant in the explosive-filled free roam. A Kuruma would get fried in no time.

Lol the insurgents sheer mass is fun to play with, smash cars outta your way, take 6-8 explosives, me and my buddy drive around, sometimes backwards and we own the lobby, reverse + auto aiming passengers or stickys is insanely effective and fun to boot

Atheist, you said you've been playing for a month? Consider the fact that people who have been playing for years might have a better take on the situation. You recently just started posting on these boards, take a moment to think before you post. Think about whether you're contributing or detracting.
