I've recently moved to Paleto Bay & bought a new apartment (4584 Procopio Drive), but apart from CCTV i can't get any other channels, the screen just stays black & sometimes there is sound, but thats it. Yes, i've turned it off/on several times, paid the bills & switched sessions, but no luck... anyone else?

Works fine for me, I also own that property. You checked the ariel? :p Try restarting your console/or however its done on PC. Might fix it.

Same thing is happening for me in my Grapeseed home. I bought it to have a base of sorts in the NE part of the map, yet the damn TV won't work properly.

While rolling a joint,having dinner,taking shower etc , it lets you stay in server .Otherwise you get kicked for being idle.

Hell yeah. Spectating and watching TV is great. I always thought it would be cool if Rockstar made it so that user made movies/content made in director mode were showed on the TV, with the ability to rate the shows. But then they would have to pay money to host it, so it will probably never happen.

yh Ive been getting this in the 6 car property AND 10 car one...nothing shows on tv, well the tv shows don't, I like to have the tv running when I'm in the crib...must be a glitch or something

 

the security cams still work tho...from what I remember

Even my 2nd character has this issue, with another apartment, coincidentally in Paleto aswell. I thought R* messed something up with the last update, but i bought a stilt-house after update aswell, AND the TV is working... very weird.

Please consult your T.V's Manual for more information.

I actually encountered the issue with the TV not working also at my 4401 Procopio Drive house in Paleto Bay. I was able to use the channels for the security cameras and they worked fine, but the normal TV shows, they were just a black screen. I'm not sure about high end apartment because I didn't bother to check :/. The TV works fine on my yacht though.

Paleto Apt 1 = not working

Paleto Apt 2 = not working

High End Apt = working

Stilt House = working

Yacht = working
