hydra vs buzzard (usefulness not direct combat ofc)

I'm sorry, savage is as savage does. You couldn't normally hit a helicopter blade on ANYTHING and still fly, so i don't see the death spin as a fair criticism.

 

Anyways, the Hydra and Buzzard are clearly apples and oranges, but the Hydra has going for it that it's essentially God mode if you have quick hand eye coordination (and internet connection, though an ip flooder can prevent missile lock on), and the buzzard is very arguably the fastest way to transport 4 people to any destination, with the highest chance of survival given no sloppy mistakes.

Hydra is king! Only downside is its a 1 seater.

 

Buzzard is second in line it holds more but that's the only thing it has over the hydra. Still an amazing vehicle.

 

Missions I choose hydra all day every day.. unless I feel like driving.

 

Freeroam.. why not both? I fly my hydra while my employees fly my buzzard. Or if I'm alone I fly my hydra and use the buzzard when I crash or something.

 

I think it's all preference for the most part. Most situations I choose hydra.

Also in my opinion the hydra is better than the lazer all day long.. but even though I love my hydra... I do recommend the buzzard first. (I insta spawn it to fly to my hydra.) It is a great heli.

 

I don't think I've flown a Lazer since I bought my hydra.

don't bring the savageohwhoopsimupsidedown into this. it's cannon lacks any useful range, it's missile spam is pointless compared to a well aimed shot, it's a pain to land, it can't dodge sh*t, it explodes when

Buzzard then Hydra.

The hydra flies faster, lands faster and has a never ending explosive canon. it's not even close. Sure, the buzzard can carry a crew but that just makes you the biggest target on the map. Don't Get me wrong. I love the buzzard and consider myself a proficient killer of players and their jets when I'm in one but the hydra has made me way more money over the last year and a half.

Buzzard has been way more useful for me. I very rarely call my Hydra and I'd happily sell it if I could.

buzzard/savage for most of PvE, hydra for most of PvP, it's simple.

I always use a Hydra when I want to go back to meth/coke labs as quick as possible without dealing with the horrid traffic AI.

 

It's also there to make sure no one gets an easy HL kill on me and to intimidate potential griefers.
