Too many Adversary Modes that doesn't have much appeal and not enough Heists, Missions, Survival and Content Creator. I'ms till wondering why R* thinks Adversary Mode is popular when pretty much no one takes part of them.

VIP isn't too bad; it at least provides some clear benefits to freeroam gameplay (freedom to launch/discontinue whenever you like, ability to spawn vehicles, costs nothing other than a big bank account, etc.) as well as an "umbrella" structure for future VIP work "plugins".

 

But I personally would love to see the armored cars, smuggler aircraft, and crate drops return--as common and familiar as they may be, they still had REAL gameplay value that was arguably quite popular, and their return would restore some unique, random fun that has since been lost.

No matter how bad an adversary mode is...it's far better than anything the community could think up.

First, we're not the ones getting paid to develop the game. That's their job, and lately they've sucked at it.

 

Lap dogs like you are what's amazing. There no incentive for them to do better if people gleefully gobble up just any crap they put out. If R* sh*t in your mouth, you'd swear it tastes like chocolate, and beg for more. Pathetic.

 

 

In case you haven't noticed, you are immensely outvoted. Just because R* can do no wrong in your eyes, doesn't mean we can't hold them to a higher standard.

With Rockstar feces in my mouth listen really closely...

You don't even have to play this game. You could be getting a manicure instead.

Best thing is that it can be played in Invite Only! :D Which makes me wonder why Time Trials need at least 2 players in a session...

I see a lot of whining but not a lot of original ideas being offered or alternatives.

It's easy for me to say, " hey that movie sucks", when I'm not writing my own.

 

If we only had races and DMs and LTSs, this thread would be about having new modes but along with no critical thinking or ideas to submit to the game creators.

 

If one of you all AMs Suck people can give me your ideas so my mind can be blown, that would be real cool. Thanks.

Yeah it's simple. Instead of all this time and memory wasted on dumbass AM and free mode events, how about focusing on what has always been the most popular game mode, contact missions. What, you want the players to write the missions for them? Umm, that's what they get paid for. Besides, a long time ago I was ignorant enough to waste my time using that imaginary developers email to send contact mission ideas. Quite sure there is no human on the other end receiving those emails.
Contact Missions not the reason I bought the game.

See that's just it, we all have our own reasons why we play.

I can complain about DMs basically being abandoned, I think last double cash DM weekend was two years ago. Last time a DM was verified? Yeah I can't remember either.

See I can play whine too and believe me I have, I'm no exception to whining, but the sh!t is out of my control and just because I haven't gotten everything "I've wanted" it doesn't mean everything else sucks. That's a "Make Amercia Great Again Mentality"...throw that fuggin hat in the garbage.

You miss the point. It's not about what you or I individually think or want. It's about simple logic. It's a fact that contact missions have always been the most popular game mode. We can agree on this, yes?

 

If I open a grill where I serve burgers, and my burgers are immensely popular, am I gonna waste time trying to convince my customers they'd like my hot dogs more? Or am I going to focus on what my customers love and spend my resources making my burgers better?

 

It's common sense, something that is not on display at R* right now.

Where is this contact mission thing coming from? I'd say just regular Free Roam is where most players spend there time in this game, but I don't have any data to back that up. What about you, you getting this from somewhere? Anyway, just to comment on your analogy. You can still keep making your burgers, but also branch out and make awesome hot dogs. That way you both burger and hot dog people to come. Bonus! What the hell are we even talking about here lol.

I feel like they need to STOP making adversary modes for a while and make MORE missions or new heists or new parachute activities or... anything besides adversary modes, don't get me wrong some adversary mode are cool but they're making gta....less fun with adversary modes

Don't always agree with how you present things, but in this case flawless logic.

 

Once I realized that my voice affected nothing at Take Two and certainly won't sway anything they do, a stillness sets in. Play the game, it is what it is and life goes on. I don't touch adversary modes. I did have fun yesterday with friends hammering 2x money and RP in missions to the tune of 1.4 million.

 

In the end, it's a game and if it's boring or releases uninteresting content, time to go for a bike ride outside.

Lucky for me I have a computer with Internet service and have actually visited a website called YouTube and watched the new adversary modes to get a "feel" for what they are like before I play them. its like a sneak-peek, it's pretty amazing, like a crystal ball made from interwebz.

But seriously, saying "you don't know what you are getting into" when there are copious resources is lazy.

I mean if you wake up start the game up and just enter the new stuff without research, well then, you just an eager beaver aren't ya!

That's clearly not what I meant. Isn't English your main language? Let me say the exact same things again, in a slightly different way.

 

When you press quick join -> race, you wanted to race and you at least get some kind of race. If you really want a land race, you retry a couple times and you get a land race.

 

When you press quick join -> adversary, you don't know whether it will be Slasher or Relay or something else that has nothing in common. You don't want that stuff, there is a specific kind of adversary mode you want. You retry and retry and retry but you keep getting all those adversary modes that you don't want.

 

I hope you understand this time. I don't want to repeat myself again.

Fair point. Okay say I branch out making hot dogs. As soon as my customers start telling me to get f*cked with the goddamn hot dogs already and focus on my great burgers, ima lose the hot dogs.

 

As far as contact missions, it's just general common knowledge. Since day one they been the favorite for making money. Lots of people on these forums have been begging for new contact missions forever. Nobody is asking for adversary mode crap.

I don't think I ever even played any adversary modes,I'm simply not interested in them (I'd rather have more contact missions,heists or VIP jobs).And I don't like that some stuff can only be unlocked by playing them either.

I present things in a simple, direct manner. There are games I have played and don't like. I don't play them. I don't whine on the internet begging the developer to make the game the way I want.

 

This game has far, far too many players to satisfy all needs.

They just need a filter since there are so many of them now. I assume that I am like most people, in that I enjoy SOME of them, but not ALL of them. But I can never get a lobby to fill up if I try to host one, and joining quickly via the phone rarely gives me one I want.

 

Give us a menu, with a list of checkboxes for all 12 or however many there are and let us tick or untick the box next to each one. THEN let us use the phone to join a quickjob for only the filtered jobs we selected.

 

This gives the player control, and won't fragment the number of players for each job. People just quit or cancel when one they don't like comes up anyway, forcing the matchmaking to pick up new players or further clogging the system up with people leaving lobbies or quitting when it launches, etc.

 

If people are guaranteed to get one of the AMs in their list, they will be less likely to leave. Matchmaking will actually improve and be faster than the current method of throwing entire hordes of people at random AMs and seeing what sticks (not much).

They know much, much better than us. In all aspects of game development. 1 billion dollars in 3 days. Most of the whiners seem to be under 18 and have no concept of how the real world functions. If I buy a steak that tastes like cardboard I don't go inside and scream at the wait staff. I go to a different restaurant.

Yeah, I agree with you that they are the go to mode for making money. But only a few missions, the higher paying ones, are consistently being played. Ls Connection, Trash Talk, easy missions with high payouts. I remember before the payout changed it was rooftop rumble over and over. I avoided contact missions completely back then cuz it was RR all damn day. I still think free roam is the largest percentage of time spent by players in the game. Anyway, yes if a majority says screw your hotdogs, you can say well if you don't want one then just get a burger. A few people will still get together from time to time, let's say a "crew" of people, to come in for you delicious hot dogs. Why deprive them? Your burgers are still the top draw and screw those who complain about the dogs.
