DANIEL3GS
I was really excited for the game and then i saw the first Instagram Videos 3-4 days before the release and i knew this won't be the game i've been waiting for. My assumption got proven when i played the prolog for the first time and i was really excited but it felt wrong. Maibatsu545
ChiroVette
After playing IV my expectations were incredibly low. So even with the amazing looking preview videos, I was incredibly skeptical that GTA would ever be a great game again. So at some point playing it on my PS3, I realized that this game is absolutely amazing, is so much fun, and had exceeded literally my every expectation, that I was hooked, and still am to this day! So much so, I had to buy the PC edition for the mods, next gen features, and increased graphics. Pedinhuh
You could elaborate a little on that, did you stopped playing the game right after the prologue? OT: My realization came when I went Online for the first time after beating the story, I saw how much stuff SP has been missing out and still is. Badman_
After the second mission with Franklin I started being disappointed and in my first playthrough I thought it was a good-but-not-great game. Then I started to accept the game for what it was and not for what I expected it to be (it helps a lot). Whyohwhy
When I first played the ps3 version at launch, the driving felt sh*t and everything just seemed so unnecessarily wide and open that I gave up playing it after 2 hours. Then again it wasn't what I expected when I played the PC enhanced version and everything was amazing. Did they change the driving physics for the Pc or something? Cause I don't see how I could possibly have hated it first time round. UltraGizmo64
Misunderstood
Honestly, my first time I played through the story, I was left disappointed as soon as Trevor reunited with Michael. The mission where they go help Tracey was just unbearable, especially because on the drive to Los Santos, Trevor actually had some decent dialogue that got thrown away so we could get a first look at Lazlow. Also, when I played GTA Online and noticed how much sh*t they cut out just to put into Online. GTA V did not live up to my crazy expectations, I still like the game and if someone were to consider this the worst GTA game (which it's not), it's still a damn fine game at that. The story and characters, in my opinion, did not live up to IV's, Red Dead's and Max Payne 3's. Rhoda
We already have a topic set up for people to air their negative opinions on GTA V. I don't think we need another one, and the tone strikes me as a little antagonistic to say the least. Complain all you like, but keep it in one place please.
