There's a lot of room for new ideas and improvement, like adding new interiors, for f*cks sake!

Make Tequilala, Bahamas Mamas and other interiors acessible already!

Why, so you can bitch about what you can't do inside there?

 the day when Bahama Mamas West opens up and you can't dance... like, what is the point?

What is the point in locking these locations when they are already loaded in the game, since you can glitch inside them anyway ??? Tell me that

I bet they are throwing heavy development into a RDR sequel right now. A GTAO type mode in the Wild West? Yes please. That will be the spiritual successor to GTA:O and I bet then they get started on a new GTA with a completely revamped online mode.

Where would all the jet griefers go?

My guess is that the top programmers - the guys that understand the inherent code - are employed on new projects all the time. They don't have the skilled personnel to trawl back through old code, that's all.

Not beta stuff - many of the interiors feature in missions / adversary modes... for example the one where there is 4v4 and one team has infinite respawns, the other do not... there is an abandoned house interior there. The Humane Labs heist... interior opened.... Aircraft Carrier available.

Oh thought you only meant Bahama Mamas  Dunno to be honest, just stupid of them to lock them knowing that pretty much the whole GTA community wants interiors.

can anyone here give me one good f***ing reason why they wont just allow the interior locations to be opened for online ? - Lifeinvader office, Humane Labs, Bahama Mamas, Tequila-La, Hospital, police stations, fleeca banks. I could go on and on here... WHAT IS THE REASON we can't get in them ?

Don't tell me that people would go in there and troll, there are already interior locations we can acess such as shops, the pacific bank, etc... it makes NO SENSE to close these off.. the community could make better videos, freemode would be more exciting - hostile takeover could be put inside the buildings etc. - creators could make many new and exciting jobs utilising these interiors.

Also you can glitch into these interiors with certain places anyway, so they are already in the f***ing online game to start with. Starting to really make me mad, last gen has been left behind so they can't even say it's due to memory issues etc.

Just open up all the interiors FFS if they opened all of them at once it would breathe fresh life into the game immediately, so many new locations there would be to explore with friends / crew etc. F**K ROCKSTAR ! and they even gave us the police station and took it away again.

"can anyone here give me one good f***ing reason why they wont just allow the interior locations to be opened for online ? - Lifeinvader office, Humane Labs, Bahama Mamas, Tequila-La, Hospital, police stations, fleeca banks. Yes. This is an outdoor urban warfare game. People will go inside, look around a few times, then most will never go back in (because there is nothing to do in there). So why spent countless hours writing this code, working out bugs, etc, for that? There is only so much memory and Rock Star probably wants to add content that has staying power. And of course each round of updates creates bugs, and eventually effects stability of the program as it gets much bigger, as we saw with LG.

OK dude I am going to repeat this again since maybe you did not read it the first time around...

You can glitch into these interiors already in Online mode - THEY ARE ALREADY LOADED IN THE GAME.

How would it be countless hours writing code? The door to the police station has already been opened once and they locked it again. It is literally opening a door. That's all that needs to be done.

As for what you said about this being an outdoor urban warfare game - LOL That is such a weak argument. Nothing to add to that one.

"People will never go back in" - Like I said, it would help all sorts of people - creators, video makers, crews meets and so on and so on. If they are already in the game why can we not access them? Please don't reply again unless you have a credible response !

Eh fair point. Not sure a few people breaching a wall is the same as adding this to all the public lobbies, but admittedly I am not a programmer guy so I really do know.

My larger point is that there isn't probably much demand for it. As I said, without a lot to do, i think MOST gamers wouldn't go in there a lot. What you describe is a niche gamer. Rock Star deals in the millions of players, and if something isn't likely to be popular to a large audience, they probably don't waste man hours, whatever that might be, on the project. Remember the shark card rule--how does opening more interiors encourage people to buy more shark cards, thus paying for the update and future ones plus make a profit? If you can't come ujp with an answer to that, then I think you have the answer to your question.

We can call those the "permanently passive" aircraft.

Would make nice targets for the Hydra, so I am in favor of this.

Yeah I think the conclusion is that we need a map expansion to keep the game fresh. We are indeed loosing potential with the map

Please provide link to your data to support "the majority of people dislike the filler material"

I think your are referencing a small percentage of squeakers on here which represents a small percentage of gamers. In short, you are talking out of your ass.

But if you have data, I'll review it.

Since you're clearly more intelligent than I, show me your official tally of data first to support your opinion.

Oops! Don't have any?

OK, try this one.

And please forgive me for using facts instead of just "talking out of my *ss."

The map isn't small, its the biggest map in the GTA series. I suppose it has something to do with players speeding at 150mph and not really taking any notice of their surroundings. San Andreas is massive if you ask me.

GTA5 might have the largest map, but it feels small, even compared to GTA San Andreas.

Boom. Was expecting that.

This is SA map with maxed out draw distance.

SA map was NEVER bigger than V map. Period. It was designed to be perceived like a big map, but it was never big.

I never understood people saying that GTA San Andreas map was bigger or felt bigger. It's nostalgia speaking I guess. The map was a lot bigger then Vice city of GTA III but its not even close to GTA V.

Mine is common sense. You make adversary mode. No one plays it. You make another one. No one plays that one. You keep doing this even though you sign paychecks (however small they may be) to the development team working on this.

This is a company that made a game that brought in a billion dollars after weekend 1. They understand how to make money and probably are not operating like this.

The game is huge, we just running out of things to explore, blocked interiors / lack interiors, we could have so much more to do if the added more stuff instead of just clothing and cars.

Once we run out of space, we will begin to get new space. The Expansions we've all hoped for, North Yankton, Liberty City, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Vice City and so on!

It looks like with this self-quote you said more than enough. Don't be ridiculous. The GTA V map is the biggest. Not might be the biggest, like you wrote first time and quoted yourself second time.

I'd love to see a paid DLC, with another story. It could bring back older contacts, such as CJ (Franklin) and Toreno (Michael). It could bring back a great city (Las Venturas). I can only imagine how that city would be in HD era...the abandoned air port, the 69 Area...

This DLC would be accessible Online too, with new Heists (have you ever imagined a Casino Heist?), new missions, a lot of things, from car to bitches.

Seriously, I think that's the way. Vice City may be, but I'm sure it will be back in GTA VI, so...and Las Venturas...that city was epic, simply epic.

You must be very f*cking dense if you think R* would open up these interiors and don't give us nothing to do in there.

However, my gripe woth this is how those interiors are there in the game, incredibly detailed and taking disk space, yet are innaccesible.

To me it's more of an issue about using all the available land. There is a vast amount of space that goes relatively unused outside the city; I probably am within the city limits 75% of the time, and rarely at the northern end of the island.

back when they started promoting gta online they said in their promo trailer

the game combines a consistent and continually expanding world

so why the map hasn't been expanded or the construction sites across town

havent developed is beyond my understanding.

after two years of online it's fair to say theres nothing expanding about the gta world

and some might even argue its another case of false advertising.

kinda like heists.......cause we all know how long it took them to deliver on that :D

We are definitely not running out of space, however it would bee nice to see an expansion. Even if they just added some spiffed up interiors (because even though it's the same map it's still considered an expansion since it expands upon the accessible area.) I would be happy. I'd actually want them to flesh out ls as much as possible before giving us a new place and creating a new focus for another city or something. A small island off the coast wouldn't be a bad idea either, they could add tons of new things on something as big as liberty island from GTA 4 (not the island itself but just using that as size reference.
