Crew level stuck at 1 on New Crew.

I started a new crew in GTA online last weekend. I have been playing all week on my main character with that crew active and have done quite a few missions. My level in my crew is stuck at level 1. I put in a support ticket about it and for the first time got a generic response instead of something that actually pertained to my issue. I have never had an issue with Support previously.. so I am a bit disillusioned. When I make any other crew I am part of active I can level up in them.. but the new one does not work. I tried to unlink and relink since I read that might fix it.. but it is my steam account so I cannot unlink it.

 

Has anyone else ever experienced this issue? I only really care because I cannot use the crew emblem until level 10 in the crew.. and that is a little frustrating. I did quite a few searches and I cannot seem to find a fix for this. My PC runs the game fine.. no other issues at all. I am the leader of the new crew.. should I leave it and have someone reinvite me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

If anyone from Rockstar is able to respond.. my account name is Tyrone_Chumbley. My new crew is DNNT.

 

Much appreciated any help that can be had.

Crew ranks are pretty much broken even since the start of the game so it's a hit or miss. Same thing happened to a friend of mine. He's stuck at rank 5 in his crew on PC, but it levels up fine on console.

 

Best you could do is to pester R* support (send tickets or call them) and hope they fix your issue.

leave all crews except the one you have as active,this helped me

This ^, can always re join if you ever wanted to go back , this fixed it for me instantly

Thanks guys. This was the trick. Left the other crews I was part of.. logged in and instantly it was showing crew level 13. Really appreciate the information!
