Rhino Hunt event week starting tomorrow

Worst piece of sh*t they have ever came up with. It's not a "Rhino hunt", it's a "rhino hunts your stupid asses in sh*tty cars". If anybody cares about K/D, then they should avoid being a "hunter" (LMAO). Host as a tank and get free kills.

 

They could have disabled the radar for the tank to make this somewhat more interesting, but no. Enjoy getting killed by a tank hopelessly.

 

Just played it. Its the worst adversary mode yet. There isn't a hope in hell in destroying the tank. Crap.

 

There is hope, but it would actually require teamwork. Meaning this is absolutely unplayable with randoms, unless you want frustration.

 

Now this is exactly what I expected to read about this new mode, oh well, the tank trolls will love it for sure.

That's exactly what it is. One player is spawned in a rhino, others in some non-armoured cars. The cars try to rush to the tank with sticky bombs. The cars then get blown up before they can even get close.

 

Worst part is that you can't leave the vehicles. It's not possible to do the "sticky kamikaze" I mentioned earlier, unless you have a friend in the team to cooperate with.

 

I'm not even going to turn on to try it then lol.

 

Oh well, no one wanted another of these modes anyway. Wasted opportunity though.

This is the worst adversary mode I've ever played.

I was in the Rhino for 4 rounds, just camp at 1 spot and you're impossible to kill. Got 80 kills and 0 deaths in a lobby with 4 players (including me).

Even my idea of an actual Hunter vs the Rhinos was better than this lol.

 

I've heard people saying the tank has buffed armour in this mode too? How come it's buffed here, where there's just poor old dune buggies, but it has paper armour when in free mode, up against Hydras and Savages? Is it just me, or is that really weird?

Well i guess it's the first time ever i'll not have a "check" on any activities in GTA. Insurgent armed or not and without the radar would have been a little more fair game. No griefing they said... lmao what a joke.

I feel like it's just going to be a boring game mode as the tank will just destroy anyone that gets even remotely close, resulting in no one playing because it's damn near impossible to kill the tank. It'll be like piracy prevention, stupidly unbalanced.

Maybe pvp isn't your thing. I like the challenge.

A skilled player on the ground is a challenge. A jet coward is someone who hides in an exploit because they are afraid to fight legit. Sort of like being in a wall breach. Learn the difference.

I destroy tanks all the time in freemode on foot, with sticky bombs. It is not hard. The type of vehicle is irrelevant.

 

Easy tactic is to place 5 stickys on the ground and lure the tank into them.

On foot is different. On foot, you can hide in corners and on top of rooftops.

 

Free mode has nothing to do with this. It's a game mode where you're against a tank, in a dune buggy that you can't even get out of.

 

You'd have to be mentally challenged to lose to anyone while on the tank team.

I don't get why people try to make out things are fair just because it's technically possible to beat them. I once beat a Lazer using a Cargobob - what's next, Lazers versus Cargobobs?

I once beat a Rhino with a BMX and my foot. I cycled up to him, kicked the tank, he was about to shoot me, but his turret got stuck in a tree and flung him into the sky and then into the water.

I know it is unbalanced. That is the whole point of adversary mode to me. Overcoming great odds.

 

I like overcoming great odds too. That's why I fly helicopters instead of jets, like survival horror games, and hardly ever leave GTA fights even when I'm outnumbered 8 - 1.

 

This isn't really that though. This is impossible odds, as nobody with an ounce of common sense will lose when they're on the tank team. Don't we already have $$+rp for those who like this kind of BS?
