xbox1 controller on PC: handbrake change

Hey guys,

a quick forum/google search has not brought any results to my problem. Hence my question here:

 

I recently started to use the xbox1 controller to drive vehicles in gta5, instead of the keyboard. One thing that was bothering me was the layout/position of the handbrake. Luckily you can choose an alternative setting and move the handbrake to the "a"-button, which was quite ideal for me.

 

But now, any time I use the handbrake I'm starting to record the game too. Does anybody know how to change this? I couldn't find any option to move the recording to another button, or to change recording settings at all.

Cant u turn the recording off ?

Yes, by using the handbreak (aka A-button) again.

since to record you have to hold down on the d-pad and then press "A".

Yeah, maybe a PC thing, but recording definitely starts by pressing just "A", no other buttons involved. It also starts by pressing "A" and pushing the left stick in any direction except right.

 

 

Maybe you've changed or need to change the button combination to start recording?

I would love to change the button combination to start recording to avoid the problem =) and I wouldn't mind to disable recording permanently. I just can't find where to change the recording button or if it is possible at all.
