Rockstar is constantly issueing security patches with the regular patches however its a constant back and forth, hackers will allways find a workaround and R* will find another security measure... its a wishious circle. Rockstar could completely avoid this issue but installing dedicated servers for their game, however I suspect they are not capable of doing so. Well, considering how GTA Online functions entirely, dedis aren't in the future. At all. Wanna stop cheaters? Use something VAC-tier. Or introduce something like steam workshop and allow cosmetics. R* is not really doing much the last months. My account got completely compromised and my character got leveled up and all kind of things. I posted for help, also sent a few e-mails. That was half a year ago, here i am still with no answer or reaction, leaving my account compromised. But whatever, they can keep it. I can't care less about it.
