Mission Creator like 100 man mario?

Over the past few weeks i've been adding bits and pieces to this idea. I think this would be a functional, balanced and anti-griefing mission creator.

A mission creator would be abused to get the most money possible in the shortest time with the least effort. I understand why we haven't gotten one. But what if we had custom job playlists of 10-20-30 missions instead of single custom job. You have 5, 10 or 20 lives for the entire playlist depending on which difficulty you select. You can earn a life if you complete a mission w/o dying. Your payout is determined by how many jobs you complete and the payment amount has a certain cap like how it was when online launched.

Playlist difficulty set to: Easy $5,000, per job - 15 total lives (complete job playlist with 20 or more lives and receive $20,000 bonus)

Playlist difficulty set to: Medium $8,000 per job - 10 total lives (complete job playlist with 15 or more lives and receive $35,000 bonus)

Playlist difficulty set to: Hard $10,000 per job. - 5 total lives (complete job playlist with 10 or more lives and receive $55,000 bonus)

The player using the mission creator would make missions from mission templates to ensure every job created had a structure that wasn't impossible. Every job would have a 5-6 minute timer and it cannot be possible to complete the mission in less than 3 minutes. If the timer runs out the mission is failed and the player starts the next job in the playlist. If the player runs out of lives the playlist is over and they have to start over or start a new playlist.

Creator mission Templates:

  • Delivery: Go to the location and collect briefcase/car/person and lose your wanted level. Deliver objective.
  • Extermination: (This mimics the CC2 and CC3 format) Go to a location and clear out all enemies. Minimum of 15 enemies. Mission creator will not allow more than 3 enemies to be placed close together. The player must also drive to at least 2 locations(this is to avoid mission that end with a single grenade toss.)
  • Survival: Collect an object, survive 3 minutes of nonstop reinforcements(enemies have pistols and SMG). Go to next location to deliver the object. Survive another 2 minutes of non stop reinforcements.(Enemies have AR and RPG, ensuring the player couldn't just sit in an armored Karuma to wait out the timer.)
  • Enforcer: (forces you to wear a cop outfit) Spawn in a cop car and have to clear out 10-30 enemies. This location would have a boss. Boss is aggressive as f*ck and can wield minigun, RPG, Buzzard, or tank. 5-6 minute timer stops once player kills all enemies and boss. Player has 1:30 to deliver briefcase/drugs to police station. (Instead of using a premade NPC the boss could be the avatar of whoever made the contact mission)
  • Assassination: Go to target(or locate target), kill target, survive cops/merryweather/gang reinforcements for 3 minutes, last wave includes a boss.

Mission creator details

  • You can only add weapons/vehicles/aircraft/boats into a mission creator job if you own said item.
  • The mission creator can dress the character like in adversary modes. The player can choose to wear the outfit or use one of their own.
  • The creator has to be able to complete the mission themselves before it can be uploaded.
  • It would be possible to do these co-op but its not required. Whoever starts the playlist can select if they want to allow randoms to join the playlist or not.
  • A random could join the playlist in between jobs.
  • If you kill/destroy an objective and your playing with others you are auto kicked from the playlist.
  • If your auto kicked 3 times in 24 hours theres a 12 hour cool down as punishment before you can start or join another playlist.
  • You cant damage other players.
  • Player model changes to the passive phase model if another character attempts to run them over.
  • Players who do not reach the mission start in 1 minute are auto kicked for idling.
  • If playing with others the death counter is not shared. If a partner dies and has no more lives they lost the playlist and leave the job.
  • Creator missions with a lot of likes are automatically grouped together in playlists. Missions with a lot of dislikes are deleted from the pool. Mission with nothing but dislikes are deleted from the pool and the creator cannot submit a mission for 24-72 hours, given bad sports points for wasting peoples time and being a fukboi.
  • Mission creator playlists unlock @ whatever rank you unlock lester missions. Kingpin rank and above can create missions.(Not enough perks to being a kingpin in this game. This is also to ensure the people making missions are people who know how to play the game.)

If the updates keep rolling out and we still have to rely on the same grind to get money i wont be able to do it. I like heists, contact missions and vip jobs from time to time but if another 10 or 20 mil item comes out in a year or 2 and id have to go back to the same missions to afford it thats when i retire, call it a good run and just play with what i have. But if a mission creator like this were to exist i might never stop playing.

Thoughts? Am i missing something? Something to add?

Interesting concept. Missions need a bit of a refresh, there's very little new except the Lamar missions, which admittedly aren't amazing. Good work

The mission creator exists but only for devs, It's what they used to create online heists but with more coding.
One of the features in the mission creator is the ability to load interiors and IPLs such as the aircraft carrier and the heist yacht.

You can set a city blackout to your specific mission just like what they did in the Slasher adversary mode.

Lots and lots of features that allow you to have full control of your mission but unfortunately only for devs.

    case 24:        return "FMMC_IPL_MENU";    case 25:        return "FMMC_CLT_MENU";    case 23:        return "FMMC_INT_MENU";

FMMC_IPL_MENU = The menu used to load the aircraft carrier and heist yacht ..etc

FMMC_CLT_MENU = A menu for clothes ?

FMMC_INT_MENU = The menu to load specific interiors

It exists before the release of the game and R* didn't think about allowing us to use it to create our own missions.

If its extensive as you say i cant see why they would pass up an opportunity to make a simplified mission creator if that means more people play and stay playing.

Online is bringing in money but player retention is also important. Im one of the most die hard players of this game that i know and even im starting to notice my enthusiasm starting to dull around the edges.

That's a lot of work O_o we've been talking about mission creator since the creator was a rumor.

Yeah a mission creator has been discussed. None nearly as details as this one. Those are all.. Hey... Want a mission creator or what would you add? Pretty meh discussion.

This would be ace. We're also deathly short on new missions that can be solo'd. Something like this would take care of that easily. Especially if things like the hacking mini games could be included in the toolset.

Great idea and I'm down for it, but your rendition of it seems a bit too restricted. If a player wants to make you drive across the road and shoot 1 guy, let him. He only gets about $1000 anyway. I like your idea of playlists, but again, the payouts and the idea itself of only being able to have custom missions in playlists sounds far too restricted. I'll assume that they will be like Coveted and not have a contact, so they will be able to be put in playlists anyway.

Would be cool if the contact was the creators online character, they'd send texts in a mission like the normal npcs do.

I was really underwhelmed primarily because every random i played with was an idiot. I love Lamar though.

Id be down with hacking. Never considered the minigames, nice.

Your right and honestly i want to side with you on this but the format being restrictive is intentional. Most contact missions that can finish around 5 minutes pay out around $10,000 or less so i figured a timer of 5-6 mins max fits the current payout system. This game is plagued with kids and trolls who love to ruin things for other people. Thats only because R* doesnt have anything in place to encourage them not to. If 1 person made you drive to kill 1 person for a payout of $1,000 then thousands will do that and people playing the playlists to have fun just end up doing stupid crap with crap pay. Playlists would be as barren as capture jobs.

Remember when every invite you received was INFINITE $$$$$$$$$$ RP? I do.

Would be cool if the contact was the creators online character, they'd send texts in a mission like the normal npcs do.

That would add a nice touch, nice!
