So exactly we don't have the rights to post what we want? This is a public forum, people can post their opinions whenever they want to. For me, it's fine for you to go to the IV section and bash it, we wouldn't mind it, but you people burst in a defensive state acting the victim, when in reality we are the victims. Like I have said numerous times before, nothing is perfect. GTA IV ain't perfect, so does GTA V. Like anything else within our world. I wish people won't stop namecalling and blaming us for the mess, when really it's you who act as a bait with your thread. Unlike some others, I actually like the game, it's just GTA V had more flaws than previous GTA titles. I even enjoyed TLAD better than GTA V, even if it's a DLC. If they want to play a game they don't really like, or dislike in some way, or like but feel disappointed by, it's really none of your concern. I don't understand it either, and from the last two and a half years of discussion, I'm not sure I really want or need to anymore. Just let people do what they want to do. That's their call. Like how if I really enjoy a game, I shouldn't be questioned on it in the way I have been. When I voice my opinion it should not be dismissed. It only needs to be acknowledged. There's no need for confrontation or aggression, if someone has a differing opinion, you make a conscious decision to either let them hold it or be combative and confrontational. When people are attacking you for holding an opinion, then telling you you're wrong, then acting like they're innocent, that's a problem. But this... this. This isn't really important. They play a game they don't like? More fool them, then, right? If people are going to bitch about it in a completely moronic way, however, that's a different story. But understanding this... you don't need to. What I don't understand is what you really hope to achieve with this thread that can't or hasn't already been achieved in countless other threads. I'm a story over gameplay guy, so you can see that I easily prefer GTA IV with that. I admit that some people who criticize the game trash it around the forums, but I am an exception. I do critic it based on my opinions, I don't drag it around based on purely attack you guys. Like I said before, it's like apples and oranges. There is nothing wrong with comparing the two games. I do enjoy them both. But I purely enjoy GTA IV more than GTA V, and that is from a passionate fan of the GTA series. I kept my day 1 copy and sometimes played it for mystery reason until recently, since it was going nowhere, i recently sold it. Get back on topic!!!! lol On Topic: I don't agree with the part of the OP that asks "if you find any part of the game annoying why play it?" Because games are not in a binary state of like and dislike. Every game has some flaws, some things that will "annoy" you or that you would have done differently as a developer. But if the ONLY games you ever play are perfect, you would stop playing games, because no game ever is. In short, a game is usually, by most people, evaluated as a totality or a preponderance of qualities. Meaning if there are a few niggles you have about the game that bother you BUT the game as a whole entertains you immensely, then you will keep playing that game. But if there are only a few little things you like, or nothing at all, and the game overall snores bores you, then you probably won't want to play that game, because overall you don't enjoy it. That's what I love about V, that the overall game, in totality, is an amazing experience, from the story, to the excellent characters, to the incredible gameplay, variety, freedom, and gorgeous map.
