Bro, going through the first 5 pages is depressing asf. If you told me in 2013/2014 that 7-8 years later we would have zero concrete evidence and news about GTA 6 and that it doesn't exist, I probably wouldn't have believed you.

I wish for a truly alive city. No more large areas of businesses and houses that can't be entered. No more peds aimlessly walking around and going nowhere. Lots of things to interact with. And get rid of needless limitations like no running indoors. What was that about anyway???

A waterpark would be a fun addition!

 

Given this pandemic, I haven't been able to visit a waterpark in 2 years. Then I wondered maybe there is an open world game with a functional water park? Nope. Maybe there is a GTA 5 mod for water park? Nope.

 

There is no HD and Premium game which has a waterpark so it would be a good addition for past time activities in GTA 6. Given the rumours of it being set in Miami, it would be in theme for Rockstar to add a fun waterpark. If there is someone who I would want to see make a waterpark in an open world game it's Rockstar!

Things I Want in GTA 6:

1- The ability to freely roam anywhere from the beginning

2- Hoverboards because they're cool

3- The Ability to have a girlfriend 

4- Set in Las Venturas kind of like the movie Casino (1995) featuring de niro and pasci

5- More Gadgets i love gadgets in games which is why i love Watch Dogs Legion

6- More rock songs I hated gta 5's hiphop and pop centric sonudtrack

7- If GTA 6 is going to have multiple protagonists again it should have a Female and Male protagonist kind of like AC:Syndicate.

8- More electric cars for two reasons:

  1. i don't want to feel guilty polluting the world 
  2. r* can encourage their use IRL

9- A more badass protagonist, I hated the protagonists in GTA 5 they weren't interesting or badass. I want the next protagonist to be like Niko or John Marson

10- No flying cars saints row bs I want GTA 6 to be grounded and realistic like GTA 4 and RDR1.

11- Make it fun.. The Perfect balance between realistic and fun.

12- More City Less Forest/Desert

13- No woman protagonist I don't think they're suitable for GTA (IMO)

14- A built in sp map editor like cunning stunts and Far Cry 3

15- More prostititute variations, male and female, all races, to appeal to every person in the world

16- We need spotify radio integration

17- Less sexual content so i can play with my kid brother

18- I want it to be on the Nintendo Switch so i can play it on the go with amiibo support

19- No more GTA Online BS 

20- Weekend (the rapper) Cameo kind of like the DR. Dre cameo in the cayo perico heist which i loved a lot

21- GTA 1 and 2 fully playable on ingame Arcades and GTA 3 fully playable on ingame consoles because current hardware can handle that

I hope you guys like my list and i hope Rockstar Games sees this and turn my ideas into reality.

DISCLAIMER:

Most of the things that I wish for are unrealistic but whatever its a wish list

Location: The state of Virginia. Kinda hard to believe Rockstar hasn't had GTA come here yet to be honest. It has Richmond (which has a lot of history behind it and is surrounded by ghettos.), Washington D.C. (ghettos, ghettos, ghettos, and hey look another ghetto! But other than that there is lots of government and tourism stuff. Also the Metro system and in 1991 was named Murder Capital.), Ashland (literally called the center of the universe pretty close to Richmond and has an amusement park nearby which has a waterpark and rollercoasters which we should be able to ride) and a beach and a lot more

Protagonist(s): The only way I can see multiple protagonists working is one gang member who is just kinda small time but wants to make big time and lives in Poormond (I don't know why but I feel like it'd be called that) and gets in contact with a dirty politician then the protagonist has to do jobs for them. But it turns out that the same politician is in contact and giving jobs to our second protagonist and they end up meeting blah blah blah.  But we could have one protagonist who is in the mob in Escobar D.C (or Capital City as mentioned in GTA IV? I don't know you choose) but is blackmailed by a dirty politician so he has to do jobs for both the Mafia and the dirty politician.

Pastimes: Bars (and bar fights ;)) to riding fast rollercoasters and everything in between

Radios: I just want a radio station where you choose what music goes on there

Transportation: Trains, Planes, Metros, Boats, Cars, Bikes, or just walking

Characters: BETTER SIDE CHARACTERS

Safehouses: Let us buy and customize safehouses and have us sell or rent out our safehouses

Girlfriends: Bring back the online dating stuff from IV but also San Andreas where we can meet them

- Open and always accessable museums of different types which could contain collectables (hijackable vehicles and other), a place to do some fun shootouts and learn more about ingame lore. I'd love to steal a not-XB-70 from an air museum to add to a collection of planes in my hangar or to drop a huge elevated earth/planet globe in a space and science museum by blowing out the supports with C4 and making it fall on the citizens, the globe rolling out of the door and crushing the parked cars outside.

 

-Different trains instead of the two or three (Brownstreak, that freight one) that we currently see. Have them work on a bigger and more complex network with  points that can be physically altered to force trains into different tracks for possible missions and funsies. Make a "holiday train" derail by switching and manipulating all the points and sending it onto a dead line that stops suddenly or into another train which is sending special goods to the military.

 

- Burglaries to return and other types of theft. Pickpocketing, safe breaking ect. But definately the San Andreas-styled telly theft that I used to do alot.

 

- Changes to the Police Wanted system. Two sorts of wanted, Passive and Active. Passive would be for non-lethals like theft and punching which would make the police use fines, tasers, batons and K9 instead of spamming pistols over a shove. Active would be the guns blazing that we currently have.

It could be colour-coded so a Passive would be a green star and lethal gold (lethal would take over as default should a gun crime or murder happen).

 

- Make more use of boats,trains ect. I want to not just do boat races but drug muleing and piracy. And I want to not just derail and ride trains but be able to manipulate where they go and the consequences (see above under Different trains).

 

- Access to a non-american country. I'm happy with it being based in the USA but i'd love to at the very least be able to do some border-hopping into Canada,Mexico, the Gulf and Carribean states or further. It would be a nice way to expand the world and add some nice variety and jokes in.

The way Bob Lazar described it (Weather or not you believe him is irrelevant, it's the logic he talks about that matters, here) it creates a gravitational pull in front of it. For example, if you place a bowling ball on a mattress it stays still. But if you push your fist in front of the ball it will roll forwards into the divot, created by your fist. He claims that's how they operate. By creating a gravitational pull in front of it, that the craft endlessly 'falls into'. So it's not pushing itself forward. It's simply using gravity to 'fall' in a controlled direction. I don't know if he's telling the truth or not. It wouldn't surprise me anymore if he was though. But the logic sounds right, to my uneducated ass. And it's kinda' cool.

I see. It's like if you had a boat with no regular propulsion engine and instead created waves/slopes in front of you to bounce the boat and move forward. And if it had an engine it would be able to make smaller corrections. (I'm just imagining jetskiing now.)

I want GTA VI online to be more grounded and focused, like Red Dead's online counterpart. 

 

 - Players never appear on the mini map, you should only be able to distinguish NPCs from players when close by.

 

- Do away with lobby only jobs, and bring activities like contact missions, heists, Street racing etc to the freemode. I think this would help the world feel alive, as you would see other players carving their own path in the city.

 

- The arsenal should be more focused and grounded. I don't want every player to have explosives and RPGs; reserve heavy weapons for special moments in game. Bullet only guns make engagements, especially in vehicles, way more interesting and varied. Being chased? Kill the driver, pop their tyres, or rupture their gas tank.

 

- No more ridiculous, explosive armed weaponised vehicles. Machine guns aren't terrible, but limit them to rare, military vehicles.

 

- I'd love a more flexible and free form approach to jobs too. Perhaps you stumble across a bank van in freemode. To crack open the goods you have to obtain a drill (payday style). To do that, build rep with a certain contact in the city by doing work for them. Not only does it build a more immersive world, it could organically generate heist-like moments and move away from the grindy businesses in V.

 

- I'd also love to see coop play encouraged more. Let us matchmake our crew online.

 

- I want world events, something everyone can participate in or fight over too.

Yeah. It's highly likely that something is being done outside the UFO to not create a shock wave.

I also think there's a possibility that the UFO has technology to have all of its parts (perhaps even all of its atoms) move at the same time without the UFO getting crushed at the sudden turns. Or maybe the UFO is just made up of a strong material that we're not aware of. It might be a drone. Or they figured out how to make the entire body of the pilot move with the UFO to avoid getting hurt badly. Or maybe this alien can withstand large g-forces.

Interiors with purpose. Ideally, I'd like every building that was sort of public, like stores, bars, clubs etc. to have interiors and for all of them to have at least one use. Stores would sell things such as snacks to refill health, cigarettes, alcohol to get you drunk, scratch cards for gambling, newspapers with stories relating to missions and general worldbuilding (as an alternative to reading the articles online, since it's gonna be a modern setting), clubs and bars are places to get drunk, sell drugs to people, steal wallets and maybe meet with business associates. Diners and fast food places serve as places to get food to refill and boost health and stamina, as well as serving as a meeting place just like bars and clubs. You can fill canisters at gas stations, buy clothing at clothing stores (obviously), buy melee weapons at a hardware store (hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers...), which are easier to smuggle into restricted areas for assassinations and the like. Malls would serve as a central hub with many of these places in one place. Busy places like a nightclub could also be used to evade cops or other pursuers. Hotels & motels serve as temporary save spots, or permanent if you're willing to keep up the payment, the fancier the more expensive it gets. You can buy gifts for your friends or romances at gift shops, jewelers and the like.

If it's multiple protagonists, I'd like to keep the clothes I chose for the characters rather than them switching randomly throughout the game

Really hope the next GTA features an Italodisco station, if set in the 80s.   And a Eurodance station, if set in the 90s or even the early 00s.

•Ability to call/text someone and ask to have them as a companion in free roam

•Ability to pick up and use/throw any loose object in the open world (chairs, trash cans, shovel, ect)

•Ability to grab any NPC and use them as a

shield in a shoot out

Id just like to be able to hold the cover button while exiting a car for the character to duck while exiting the car and into cover behind the door

I'd like to see gameplay challenges like RDR2 with specific rewards/upgrades that you can only get from completing them.

 

Also a friends/companion option would be cool but I'd only want to see them done like how they were in RDR2, where they were actual side missions (robbing homestead with Javier, rustling cattle with Uncle etc.) I don't really see the point in meeting up with other characters just to go bowling or drinking for no apparent reason.

Okay here are some of my wishes, some maybe more off-the-cuff than others:

 

- A classical music radio station, a la Double Clef from III and LCS. 

- The ability to customise safehouses with additional weapons storage space, furniture, maybe momentos from completed missions (harking back to the visual changes inside the Vercetti Estate after completing certain missions in GTA Vice City, like the trophies that appear on top of the TV after completing the Bloodring challenges). 
- An expanded Empire building system akin to what was in GTA VCS but, well, expanded. To be able to have the option of buying a derelict building in the game and renovating it to turn into an additional safehouse or a business of some kind (legal or illegal) would be great. 
- If not in GTA VI, then some other GTA in the future finally being set in London again (tremendous wishful thinking here I know). 
- If there are multiple protagonists again akin to GTA V, then I would be open to having one of the playable protagonists to be a female. I know this may be a hot tamale though surely enough to draw criticisms of the character being “overtly sexualised” or “degrading” or just “sexist” in some way, shape or form (such were those old arguments thrown around before about females present in GTA games of past), but yeah again I would be open to that as a protagonist possibility.

Meaningful and good side missions. Honestly most of the rewards you get for completing side missions are absolute garbage (like the only good ones are the health upgrades in SA) and the missions themselves often a chore. Just look at how well Saints Row 2 icorporated side activites into the main gameplay flow. You need respect to play story missions and the best way to earn respect is through activities. And the activites are fun and give good rewards (unique weapons, stat upgrades, outfits etc.). It's not just the same thing but with one more NPC or whatever each time. I mean, they even have a "pretend to be a cop" activity like GTA, except it has a variety of crimes that the NPCs will commit. Bank robbers will be in the armored bank vans, streakers run around naked etc. and in GTA? Always just duded in cars driving around. Why are there no gang shootouts to respond to? Reckless drivers, muggers, car thieves, drug deals? That's the kind of variety I want to see in the side missions in VI and I want them to have good rewards that make them worth playing. They don't need to be incorporated into the main story like in SR2, but just give me some unique weapons, vehicles, outfits, abilities. Maybe after doing all levels of Vigilante you could call in police "backup" that will involve themselves in the shootout. If you help out an allied gang with their smuggling business or whatever, they could provide you with weapons and vehicles on the fly. If you conquer all enemy drug factories you get a golden AK that does extra damage and intimidates enemies so they'd sometimes run away. If you complete all shooting range challenges you unlock the ability to dual wield pistols and SMGs. If you help out a chop shop with gathering special vehicles for them they can put armor plating on your car. There is so much progression that you can push over onto side missions to make them feel more like something that isn't just padding, but something that is well integrated into the game and worth doing, with little self contained stories in itself.

For the exact same reason there are fishing side missions with some characters (Like Kieran's or Javier's), or minigames in camp that they even introduce you with a cutscene, criminals have social lives too, you know? I personally think the way GTA IV introduced it was pretty good, the only problem was how ridiculously frequent those calls were.

I just wish it comes out this decade 

 

Aside from that I also hope they retain the big amount of customization regarding the UI, it was really nice in rdr2 

 

Also the controller layout of standard fps2 needs to come by default along with all the others, it was really weird that it didn't come with rdr2 from the beginning, had to play southpaw for a while since it was the closest I could get 

 

Edit: I got so used to southpaw that standard fps2 actually feels weird to me in this game 😅

After watching Black Mass I want the entire game to be based on the Irish Mob during the 70's and 80's in a fictionalised Boston - The McCreary's from GTA IV were some of the strongest characters of the series so far.
