Willish32
For whatever reason my brother got my GTA V online account banned permanently on PC. I was wondering if I could just buy another copy under a new steam name and a new social club. If so, would it be best to uninstall GTA V and reinstall it from the new account I buy it under? I just want to be able to play GTA V online again and I was not sure if I could just buy another copy. Would the best way to make sure all the modded files are removed and clean to be to uninstall and reinstall GTA? You can now permanently delete games out of your Steam Library. Try doing this for GTA V. Then just re-buy the game; this should be considered a "different copy" and you can skip getting a new Steam account altogether. Crystal3lf
Ahh yes, the old "my brother used cheats on my account" excuse. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that I would be a billionaire. stobe187 and Ewok626

It's a brand new copy and after all, he can use a new RGSC login. Only thing that could be an issue is IP. Crystal3lf

All you need is a new GTA V CD key from Steam, and a different RSSC account. I don't think Rockstar would ever IP ban from using cheats online, developing cheats however would be a different story, hardware bans have also been put in place before. poppafewpills
Oh man, when is the gaming community going to realize that if you have a brother you can't play video games... Situation: I modded my account to get billions... I'm awesome, you're not ! Gets caught: My brother modded my account... This sucks, please un-ban me, it wasn't my fault, I'm innocent...
