seven50iL
The Gta forums is a very big site. I notice that other big forums have a following system for their users. So for example, you will go to a users profile and it will show the "x" amount of followers. The reason I say this is because many users like myself literally have a "following". The show your character thread is a great example. Would it be possible to implement a follow system on here? This forum is so big it's almost like a mini social network with many interesting people. Would you guys like a following system? Sweet Bellic

Ryan
No offence or anything, but I can't help but think that you need to get out more if you want a feature that notifies you of every time a member you're following makes a post. No doubt ahaha but you're completely missing my point Ryan. I never mentioned anything of a news feed. All of us have many friends on here, why not on our profiles have a followers section? It will be easier to find friends and like I said, this website is so big some of us including myself have a following. The show your character thread is a great example of users having a following. RedDagger
That seems pretty pointless, and similar enough to a friends list feature that's a pretty common request that won't be implemented. Flachbau
S99
I'm sure there used to be a friends feature.. maybe i'm imagining things but to be honest, Ryan and RedDagger are right.
Jolly Swagman
C'mon guys you're not listening, sure it's a dumb and pointless feature but this dude's got a "big following" so I say we listen to him Edited February 24, 2016 by Jolly Swagman ten-a-penny, PhillBellic, seven50iL and 1 other

Girish
I don't see what purpose following other members would serve. This is neither Facebook nor Twitter. I doubt you would want to be notified of every activity by the members that you follow and vice versa. Your notification panel would be full of so many alerts that you won't even be able to keep track of half of them. This is primarily a discussion board and I don't think we should be trying to turn it into a social networking board. seven50iL

My point is forum is so big it kinda is a mini social network if you think about it. Many of us have friends on here that we met. I have a very great example from another forum but I don't think we can upload photos only use url's I believe. ...many users like myself literally have a "following"... I'm so f*cking jealous right now. I don't see why you have to be a wise guy. You're acting like this statement is not true. Additionally, why are you on here if you do not have any serious input? If you don't like it at least disagree in a respectful manner. Edited February 24, 2016 by seven50iL
RedDagger
If all you're wanting to do is display your friends or the like the respect list should be fine enough, I'm not really sure what extra feature you're asking for on top of that. seven50iL
Nico
I wonder why the hell people wants to turn this into a new Twitter or Facebook. If you want to interact with your "fanbase", use these sites. seven50iL 1 Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?
