It's ridiculous... I mean 19 radios... and no one METAL related? And also... NO CLASSICAL RADIO?

Just thought in Metal, but we need too: JAZZ, CLASSICAL, DUBSTEP, DRUM&BASS, HOUSE, AMBIENT, HARDROCK...

I don't understand how can you put into a game 19 radios and miss ALL THESE GENRES.

 

Yeah there's a country radio, a punk radio... but c'mon, there are 4-5 POP RADIOS, 6-7 ELECTRONIC RADIOS, 2-3 HIP HOP RADIOS... and it's on previous GTA's...

 

I found this unexplainable, someone have an idea why?

To add on this note, why don't we have a House station? The atmosphere for V fits the House genre really well. It would've been a nice addition to the game.

Classical music is the kind of music I somehow can never get sick of listening to, while essentially any other music type would eventually have me puking out the songs I have to listen to over and over. Would love a classical station, it'd be the only station I can listen to over and over without getting sick of it. As for metal, why not?

Just realize there's no hard rock as well... i mean hard-rock pre-heavy metal, no glam.

I would love a metal station on here, however rockstar probably feels that it wouldn't be as popular in today's society as much as pop and hip hop. Most real life radio stations that play modern hits think the same way. It's a damn shame too because a lot of heavy metal bands have incredible talent.

At this point, any kind of rock station would be cool in this game as long as it was better than the current ones. San Andreas and Vice City both had great soundtracks.

Jk... :p Actually I'd love to have a metal/ rock radio station. There's LS Rock Radio but they're more about power pop and balads, besides The Cult, Boston, Deff Leppard or Robert Plant there's not much rock going on there. We have Channel X but punk isn't really my thing, I'd rather it to follow the style of the good ol' Radio X. I end up sticking to Self Radio and simply hear what I want atm.

Well they tried something different with these new stations like Fly Lo, worldwide etc, which I welcome. But they have no definite genre and are all a bit out there. I think Jazz and classical would have fitted the game better.

Metal music is kinda 2000s, its era passed.

 

Metal music is not era passed, is more like Classical Music, stays forever.

 

I accept is era passed, if you think Classical is era passed too... but then should not be something to mind... Saints Row had both classical metal and was a really "modern" game.

Like it's people listening to classical music.

 

Both Genres are forever alive... not like most music in these radios.

 

Also there are many stations with really f*cked up music in terms of this decade trends, like the GLAM one or the PUNK one.

Some people in this world enjoy to hear the music that is meaningful for them and truthly pleases them. Not only because it's the thing everybody listens to. You know, it's good to be ourselves and do and like the things we actually enjoy and appreciate rather than because it's the new tendency.

 

Feel free to say you truthly love and appreciate Miley Cyrus for example, in 5 years you won't hear ever again a single song from her. Because it's not 2016 anymore right? The music industry has already chosen what you should listen to next by that time.

Hard rock would be amazing. Led Zeppelin is one of my favourite bands, among many other hard rock bands

The fact that they decided to not include really any mainstream rock baffles me. LS Rock is great, but let's face it, only a few of the songs on there are really worth listening to. If that was real life it would be like the worst classic rock station I have ever heard.

Well half the cars in the game are classics... despite the sports classic label.

 

Why not classic music as well.

Give Channel X the boot and replace it with... anything, really. Metal is a lot better, so is classical and house

because R* have some troubles with it. 50 on 50. They have old ppl which can choose awesome music for SpaceFM, MirrorPark, NonStopFM, LosSantosRockRadio or RadioLosSantos with hip hop... but they don't listen modern music and genres, such as dubstep, house music etc., don't have young ppl or dont give them a chance to choose songs for the game... I guess so. They were perfect with GTA Vice City, but times are changing...

You can't please everyone, there are absolutely loads of genres of music and you can't have a station for each one or you'd be flicking through about fifty stations.

In fact with 19 stations you can include all those I said in OP really EASILY.

 

But we have a bunch of pop ones, a bunch of hiphop ones and a bunch of absolutely trendie electronic ones.

 

So it's a deliberate decision, not related to technical issues, not to quantity.
