The Sticky Bomb Master Race is open to the Insurgent driver. He can make beautiful chaos amidst players or NPCs. I don't mind explosions. People who just circle in jets and suicide if endangered, are a bit boring for me, but people like different things. We find our happiness in different ways.

Youre complaining about explosions in grand theft auto? What, are you dense or something? Some serious vadge moes be amongst us my brothers and sisters, i say we introduce a little eugenics to online, what do ya think? Too many pussies? Im sure starting to think so..

I agree in the sense that explosives are annoying as hell but there something we have to live with, and truly I don't mind 90% of explosive users blow up peoples personal vehicles or their own meaning its just another mission they need to do.

Basically the number of harmless players and cars you could blow up in an hour would take days to earn back, I just feel glad that I participated in their $500,000 destruction spree since they need to pay for it and not me.

I'm gonna be honest, I feel like there should be an option where you can't use explosives in death matchs, why well because every death match I join people use explosives and don't even try anymore, it kills the mood. On topic: no not really but I do notice it at times

This thread lost credibility when you complained about the Buzzard/Savage OP. I mean, really?

They are so, so easy to bring down. Even against the best pilot you could imagine, if you have a clue what you're doing they won't get more than 2/3 kills maximum.

Look at real helicopters - people have no idea how good they've got it when it comes to these pathetic neutered helicopters we have in GTA V.

I'm with OP on this. There's a time and a place for the use of explosives, but it's not everywhere and everywhen. (well, it is, but it shouldn't be) I think part of the problem is the militarisation of the game; you need to be able to spam explosives or you don't have a fighting chance against most armed vehicles, and some of the armoured ones. I think Rockstar made a mistake in making the explosive weapons the best for almost every conceivable scenario. I'd like to see them be one tool in a rich and varied box that rewards situational awareness, strategy and preparation, but Rockstar instead decided that this was going to be an "MMO" where linear upgrades lead to de-facto best weapons for any given role so that we have a sense of "progression". (Combat MG/Homing Launcher/Assault Shotgun/Marksman Rifle/Sticky Bombs) The game is more exciting when you don't know exactly what will get thrown at you, it's pretty dull when you can guarantee that it will be sticky bombs flying out of a black Zentorno. The counter is always the same, and the lack of imagination on the part of the spammer leads them to leave the session when they see that they're beaten. There's rarely any gradual escalation either. I've never see people go at it will pistols, and ramp up from there, everyone automatically dials up to 11 because they can and it's the winning move. There are so many neglected weapons on this game that I would love to see getting more attention.

The other problem is that you can practically play the game via the mini-map. With player blips defaulting to being on the radar it's incredibly easy to find targets. Even when you can't see someone you can still hit them with explosives through walls or around corners because you know their precise location on the Z and X axes, if not Y.

The only thing people hate more then Explosives is the Spamsman Rifle, people use the RPG or Grenade Launcher excessively with me and I'll be doing the wiggle dance with the Spamsman while ruining them..

They still have the gall to send hate texts about using it even though they spam explosives.. Morons.

What we need is a special "Blowin' Sh*t Up" lobby mode, where players only have explosives, no guns, for continuous concussive chaos, so they can get their jollies and play Michael Bay or whatever.

Or, if their purpose is actually just to grief other players and get their jollies from causing rage, then never mind :p Everything's fine as is.

There is an option, it's called forced plus pickups or just forced.

Wait, why am I giving this thread my time and effort?

I'm thinking the same thing right now but people keep bumping this thread because of how silly OP is being. Might as well say something on topic.

Killing players with jets, tanks and sticky bombs has always been normal in GTA online. No, it is not ruining/killing free mode.

Granted there's more explosive options now but players still kill in other ways such as with pistols, assault rifles snipers, running you over, etc.

Free mode is still predictable in the fact it would always be chaotic. You still never know for grantee how you might die.

This is the part where this thing shows up:

310px-%C3%9Cbung_Northern_Coast.jpg

Behold! the EOD (Explosive Ordance Disposal) suit, created to withstand any pressure from any explosive. This could make players be able to resist at least 2 rockets and 4 sticky bombs, but also it could have their mobility decreased. The suits could have to be very expensive in order to prevent anyone from having it. Also, the bomb suits may eventually get destroyed, so the player has to buy another

But here the bad news! it might never be added because R* always does something wrong.

There's always been a lot more explosions in Free Aim

Whenever I've popped in from a mission, I'd always toss out a sticky in the road... The FA warriors love driving by daring you to try and shoot them...

Since the Buzzard can lock on to other players there probably are more deaths by explosions but I doubt their the majority

There's always been a lot more explosions in Free Aim

Not according to certain free aimers. Free aim public lobbies are full of nothing but mature gamers.

No one uses Pegasus vehicles or explosives.

Nothing but the default pistol in the middle of the street. Fighting like warriors with honor.

Jesus Christ, that sounds incredibly boring.

People, m'colleague SuperJude is right, there IS too much boom-boom, shake the room, going on in Frei mode. And I'm 100% possibly certain that this might be entirely my fault, although I have doubts.

In GTA4, I invented "explody kill tennis" with SuperJude and DeejayB. We'd set a freemode session to "friendly fire: off" and use RPGs to blast players around the airport. It was very cool story bro. Lols happened.

NOW in GTA5 Online Multiplayer Internet Squeaker Edition and every c*nt is using explody-spodes to get their "I have attacked some people in this game and they respawned so I did it again" stat up. And because everyone now has lots of money (except that NOOB who joined today, doesn't have an avatar or signature, didn't use the search function and is about to make a post saying "how do I make money"), the rules put in place by "RRR0xta G4M35" are moot, because kapow, blammo, bang, wallop, ooh me bollocks are over there now is the standard murder.

I hope this makes sense. As usual I am here for the halping.

God this was a short post.

That's because most of the kiddies like to use their chromed out Kuruma, or use the reverse Zentorno trick (not as popular recently) and what quicker way to take them out than a quick explosive?

Well a real "Savage" can kill from miles away, and can zoom in (much more than GTA's co pilots) to see enemies from this far. Not to mention it has a cannon that (shocker) can actually aim.

It also has flares, and doesn't have to put up with BS missiles that can make U - turns.

Not only that, but it's incredibly well armoured.

In GTA V, we get this s**t:

ayBFODJ.gif

How these paper mache helicopters are overpowered and ruining the game for anyone ... Well that's just a mystery to me.

This topic is like 3 years to late.

Is it ruining free roam? It already has... a long time ago. We are just reaping what R* sowed.

Im pretty sure you have been told a million times by all free aim players.. That Free aim and auto aim lobbies have the same type of players with the same type of mentality. The only difference is NO AUTO AIM.
