leoncj 341 Posted February 23, 2016 (edited) Welcome to the DESIGN YOUR OWN MISSION VINEWOOD CHALLENGE 2016 ''A Movie in-game'' DYOM Vinewood Challenge 2016 is an event/game that consists of three different challenges that participants would have to take part in. The Vinewood Challenge are looking for designers to recreate real-life movies in DYOM. Become a director now! RULES Since this is a very first event, you may recreate any movie's scene or movie from all the years, no limited decisions. Only new created missions allowed, no old ones. You have to follow the challenge's requirements to participate. Once participated, you may not vote for your own mission. Once voting starts, no more missions won't be allowed. Everyone can join, but... only max 15 designers can win Challenge #1 and move onto Challenge #2 and only max 10 designers can win Challenge #2 and move onto Challenge #3 and there can only be three winners of Vinewood Challenge. Voters can be anyone from the forums. The missions may have or may not have gameplay, it is all up to you and the voters. HOW TO VOTE Once it is announced that voting has begun, you have to name the mission name or the designer in bold text. Votes will be counted once deadline ends and winner will be announced afterwards. CHALLENGE #1 ''All Movies Have That Special Moment'' OBJECTIVE: Recreate a scene from any movie in one single mission. To participate, just post the link to the mission, name of the mission and the movie name. (in DYOM Website, have #DYOMVC16 as the first thing in the title, then the mission name) DEADLINE: March 15st 2016 (If not enough participants will participate, the event will be cancelled until next year) CHALLENGE #2 (Available After Challenge #1) THE FINAL CHALLENGE (Available After Challenge #2) Participants & Missions (Event closed.) (UPDATE LOG) Feb 23, 2016 - Vinewood Challenge 2016 has begun, Challenge #1 started! Feb 26, 2016 - Challenge #1 deadline extended from March 1st to March 10th. Mar 3, 2016 - Challenge #1 deadline extended from March 10th to March 15th. Mar 17, 2016 - Vinewood Challenge 2016 closed due to the inactivity and that there were no participants.
