Who Was The Person That Motion Captured Claude

Hello as you know that Claude is a silent person so no one voiced him but he sill have animations for cutscenes so i was thinking who was the person that motion captured him anyone know who was that person

I dont see the point in not disclosing who motion captured claude. It's probably is buried deep inside the web on some forum but maybe im wrong. who knows

Me. This is actual footage of me mocaping the 47th mission where Maria calls Asuka a c*nt.

I'm very sure, nobody. The anims seems was created by R*. If you look them close... doesn't look realistic less natural.

That Could be possible too but i don't think that Rockstar Games created whole animation for Claude by their own hand at that time so i think that maybe they hired someone to do motion capture for him

The way the models are animated if you look at them in 3dsmax they do look like they were motion captured, there is an animation key on every frame for every body part, its not simplified at all which it would be if it was done by hand on a computer. Besides I remember reading somewhere about how GTA3 was the first game to use motion capture and how ambitious it was at the time. Who knows who actually stepped into the suit, it might have been the one guy doing the whole game that stuff isnt simple to set up.

Maybe Ian Macque Or Alex Horton did the motion capture for Claude But Rockstar Games know that person exactly

Well looking again Ian Mcque was listed with the modelers so he probably did character design. Alex Horton is the only one that sticks out in the motion capture part. He's listed as animator and seeing as you don't really animate mocap I'm 90% sure its him. They probably didnt know what to list him as. Actor or animator? It was a pretty new process at the time that was only just starting to catch on.

Maybe Alex Horton did that motion capture but if he did motion capture then he should be listed as Actor Not Animator because Animator is the person who designed animations of the game not motion capturing

That maybe true that Rockstar Games only knows that person who did the motion capture for Claude thats why we need to ask them who was that person sometime is anyone know other information about that person

In the gta 3 manual, under motion capture you can find the actors who provided them. Renaud Sebbane, Giselle Jones, Stephen Daniels, Robert Stio and Jenny Gross are listed so it has to be one of them who provided Claude's motion capture.
