You can switch sessions, not sure about public sessions though. The only thing you can't do is turn off your console or restart GTAV.

Some of us still have double money bro. As long as you're "logged on," you're safe from the reset. Like i said, this happened to me during Lester's day and it's happening again here. I'm going to test if it still works in the morning.. I'd rather not stay up all night doing missions. If it works, I'll make screenshots and videos as proof.

 

Can't vouch that this works for PS4 though.

It just ended for me when some dumb f*ck destroyed the Titan.

Went back to vote screen and double rp & money was gone.

Stay out of public session, don't close GTA as application, stay logged on. Use console rest (sleep) mode if you need. Do not select "Find new session" and you'll be alright. Tested it myself with X1 sleep mode. Works.

It's a lottery whether it resets or not. Once I had to restart the game to get another character's mission to start. The next day it got reset by just changing sessions. So I have no idea how it works.

Staying connected to the internet might not even be necessary.

 

When I prolonged Martin's missions into Lester's day my PS4 was offline, in rest mode with the game running in single player.

 

By the way, I stayed strictly in invite only sessions in the past week.

 

Right now I'm still playing x2 CCO3 playlists.

If you're talking about CCO3 then you don't need that sniper rifle. Just park/land the Savage on the hill, wait until the timer hits 4 mins and kill the remaining enemy.

It ended for about 6:10am EST for me , I had x2 still but went to Ammunation to stock-up on rounds cause they were on sake.

I put my xbox into sleep mode without quitting GTA last night so I want to make sure I get it right before I turn it back on. What's the "correct" way to play Online and keep the double payouts going?

 

From people are saying, it sounds like I should stay in invite only, but if I launch a job is it okay to invite randoms or should I solo them?

Solo only. I forgot to close matchmaking, random joined and it was over.

Thanks for telling us. I was planning to invite some friends to play those double payout missions tonight. Guess not then. Still wondering if it resets if I invite them to my invite only session. :/

The last guy I kill ist the rightmost guy of the first group. He is between a trailer and a Calvacade.

 

When all others are dead I land the Savage on the roof of the trailer next to the warehouse of the airplane graveyard.

 

From that elevated position I fire the rocket 2 seconds before the timer hits 4 minutes. Because it travels a bit less then 3 seconds to its target.

naw - i was talking about the sale going on for the weapons and warstock content... 2nd character is quite spartan only having required items. needs air support and sniper rifle - sale going on makes it perfect time to kit her out the rest of the way.

My friend is researching tunables and might find a way to enable the DNS method from 2014 again to load custom tunables.

Then I can play contact missions with triple $ and RP and I might share it with few people.

Went from 3-9 million...

 

That was a grind for sure, Im glad it shows in the bank account!

 

Not sure on when I will run another mission, but it was fun and nostalgic playing through those again.

Got my second character from rank 64 to 98; I had planned to reach 100, but kinda needed more than 3 hours' sleep before work...

Did the restmode trick on my PS4 and it works, lol. Still have the double payouts available.

 

Hope this means it's worked for me when I get home, would be nice to make some more cash tonight but I'm happy with my 6 million so far.
