I made about 800k yesterday with Martin within 4 hours. Would've played more but xfiles was on.

 

Does anyone know how to put the Xbox one on "rest mode" that ps4 has?

Hold PS button till sub menu appears or tap power button on console to enter rest mode.

 

Go to Power Saving Options from XMB.

 

Look for options available in rest mode.

 

Check box that allows "keep applications suspended".

Got a buddy who's finally gonna give GTAO a try after hearing me yack about it these last two years. On the one hand it'll be great for him to get the boost in dollars and RP right off the bat but on the other hand I'm worried it'll spoil his expectations once things return to normal...

if he hasn't picked up the game since 2013, what makes you think he will enjoy it now?

Dont like lester that much either, at least for grinding martin or gerald are more my flavor.

On the other hand High Priority Cases with a Buzzard is not that bad if u want 4 min missions.

I've still got Martin missions today for some reason. I didn't put my PS4 in rest mode, all I did was quit to story mode and leave it paused overnight. Came back tonight and logged into an invite only session and it's still Martin.

 

Not complaining.

Yep. Nerfed a lot of missions. Enemies spawn indefenitely. Same with Base Invaders.

 

Stocks and Scares: MW thugs keep spawning behind you. Key is not to go through the door chokepoint . Take a Kuruma and take a detour through the main gate. Drive through the main gate and take a left. Go to the stairs with your Kuruma. After you slaughtered the first batch from inside the Kuruma, make a dash for the door.

So if I leave GTA Online running in the background in my PC on the 25th,every missions will have double xp/money untill my PC explodes?

I think some console players did this with the VIP week bonuses and it worked. Presumably it would work with this too. The only thing that would stop it is an update to the game or if the console loses power or something.

 

Not sure how "rest mode" works on PC though.

Go to settings, Power & startup, Power Mode & Startup, change power mode to instant-on and I think you're good. I think "When Xbox is off, turn off storage option" is for external hard drives only, though I might be mistaken. But yeah with instant on as long as you don't turn your Xbox off at the wall or close the game down it should still be running in the backround so when you turn it back on it'll be paused and ready.

Do you mean Stocks & Scares? Because Docks to Stock is a 2+ player mission that's actually really easy, but the journey to get the cargobob is a pain if you start in the city.

Any idea why some of the missions aren't showing up for me? They should all be unlocked.

Did your account have its name changed? I lost all my unlocked missions after that! (PS4)

No changes that I'm aware of. I have most of the missions none of the ones that unlock around level 75. I am 159.Missions only appear in this list after you've played them, and the list was reset for some players a couple patches ago. You need to find them via voting, corona or phoning contacts before they reappear.

I can't even take advantage of this x2 event without the following happening to me:

 

1) Mission starts to load but I spawn into the lobby under the map and it loads forever (and I can't do anything)

2) I join a mission but immediately get kicked by the server back into the lobby

3) Forever launching session

4) Connection error (with like 50 mbps Internet) and I get kicked to story mode

Kind of sucks that after 2 years R* still has ass matchmaking

 

Hey were doing double stuff but you won't be able to grind it because

-You can no longer replay successful missions

-You can no longer R2 if you fail because it will lag and disregard it

-You can't connect to missions because

-You got stuck in the clouds

-You just waited forever in a loading screen and now you're back in freeroam after the mission started

-Above but your HUD isn't available and you're stuck until the game releases you

-You disconnected back to singleplayer

-You disconnected back to freeroam

-You loaded into a session that has max occupancy (20 players in a 6 player mission)

-You're lobby voted for random and or another mission and you're lobby merged and now you're stuck doing easy difficulty missions

-You can't lose your wanted level

-You gain a wanted level every time you approach the objective prompting you to lose it and repeat

-You fail the mission after killing the npc the game asked you to kill

-You spend several minutes at a time just so the game can tell you the session is full

 

and the list goes on

 

 

 

Admittedly I actually managed a decent problem free lobby once during Martin's day. It's very satisfying to actually finish playing you're game after you feel you're done and not after the game disconnects you.

Decided to open matchmaking on A Titan of a job. Lobby fills up nice and quick and we launch into the session. Myself and one of the others take down the merryweather npc's whilst two sit AFK and the other two are off finding a maverick & a hydra. Right as I open the door to the Titan the Maverick flies in and sends me to the other side of the hangar...Dead. The one useful player takes off in the Titan and right as he is approaching to land at Sandy Shores in comes the Hydra missiling the Titan, that isn't effective enough so instead he divebombs the Titan and KABOOM.
