Draw/edit GTAO Characters thread

Not sure I posted this one. Maybe edited to be in front of some bushes partially concealing a Texas Ranger armed with a Browning Automatic Rifle.

I think it was unpinned because there's far fewer members editing pics compared to the pics being posted to be edited (just look at how many MS Paint pics we got lately - very few). The flavor for the thread kind of vanished after a while which happens to all threads. Thread still isn't dead, though. If I can suggest to OP, maybe get a bit more involved other than just picking an edit of the week. Involving people in forum games are tons of fun and having "rewards" like banners/signatures such as "Winner of Edit Thread Week #3" or something. Vik had something along those lines with his Would You Rather thread and it lasted quite a long time. Just some suggestions to keep the train rolling.

I'll still stick around and do some more edits. I'd hate to see this thread die, it just needs some more love to stay afloat.

On another note, everyone please take note of LL's clear pictures. He's by far my favorite to edit; so easy to crop him out and the lighting is great. No filter, too (picture 1 & 2 seems to have some vignette/effect going, though - but picture 3 is just perfect). You'll have more luck being picked out if you follow those lines.

Just had a look, so adding a sort of section with banners for notable/active people? I could do that I guess.

 

If anyone wants to send an image/gif of the background for one, that'd be great, I've already had some good ideas but what would you guys like?

 

I think I could have a sort of themed week, where people are tasked with editing any pics contributed with a certain theme, I'll give that a sort of test trial I guess.

 

I'll update the first post with a new theme section and also notable/active players as of recently either tonight or tomorrow.

yh I noticed it was un-pinned, I usually browse the forums while at work, so I dont always have time to draw stuff...ill bust out some ms paints ones when I get time....

A thread for posting up pictures you'd like people to have fun with whether that be drawing them, editing them or whatever.

 

Rules:

1. Please don't spam too many pictures when requesting, if people don't want to edit the one you post then give it a few days before you post another.

 

2. There are already quite a lot of requests so any people looking to draw.edit a pic, don't feel like you have to do the most recently requested, go through the thread, see if there is anything you'd like to do, and be inspired by other people's drawings/editing.

 

3. Don't have a bitch fit if you don't like how someone has edited your character, this thread is a lottery, you'll get works of art, or you'll get dildos in your hand.

 

4. Don't go overboard, I'm not going to say keep it appropriate because where's the fun in that, but draw the line somewhere.

I put you up mainly because of your character, I will be adding others soon (all players you listed will be added, they already came to mind whilst making this) but I really need to get some work done right now, I took a break to get a drink like 2 hours ago and it turned into this lol, I wanted to make the banner shorter but it would ruin the gif, should I get a different gif, or just crop anyway??

 

Also LL I read your comic on your profile, I love your character, please continue with your amazing contributions, I think once the easter holidays come round I'll be editing alot of pics, I wanna get some sort of superhero duo with your character and mine going,

Mr_Zomb, you probably know better than I do on what should/could be done. I'm sure Cry will come in here and pitch you something either way.

I also like the fact I'm the first up on the board yet I'm probably the least skilled editor here. I just learned how to crop like 3 weeks ago.

Fair point, however I did see a drawing from you I liked, if that continues then I feel you could earn it.

 

You guys are too modest lol, don't worry I will be putting people up who I think definitely deserve recognition.

 

Here's my criteria:

. Posting images that are easy to work with

. Being active

. Adding drawings/edits (especially ones that make me either laugh or ones that look cool as sh*t)

People that fit the criteria will be the respected players.

 

I'll be adding some of the people who don't post as regularly as before but definitely deserve it for the stuff they did post, some examples: Pleasance13, SonOfLosSantos etc.

 

I'll get on improving the signature tomorrow.
