The concept can be worked on like the original is shown and the best edits of that pic is put in spoilers instead of having all spoilers. Or make a side by side pic. Something like that would be nice.

A tutorial video and a Monster energy drink later, I decided to contribute to this thread. Trust me when I say I have no skills in photoshop (actually using a free website for this, I use it to make banners for my meets as well as my signatures like the one I'm sporting right now). I've always been an audio guy so to do visual edits just isn't my thing. I'm glad how some of these turned out, though. Anyway, hope the original pic owners enjoy. No elite skills, just cropping and adding them to other pics. Um...criticism is okay, I guess, I just won't really care. I'm just doing these for fun, not to become better.

So I'm just about to hit the "post" button but I got carried away a little...I scrolled to a few (a lot, actually) pages and picked the ones I had ideas for. Sorry about all the spoilers but it's for your own good.

I thought GradeA-Hole's character looked a lot like Tom Green...so I replaced him on the poster of Road Trip. This is my very first photo edit, ever. Well, apart from MS Paint, those I've had a few doodles here and there in the past. Honestly. I'm surprised how it turned out...but it's taken me an hour just to f*cking crop his head out. Quite the learning curve.

The other edit of this one (the limbo) is so well-done I don't know why I bothered. I did see it differently, though - bad boi got some moves! He's currently having a dance off. I added some inner glow (yellow) to make it look like he's being lit up, as well as a drop shadow due to the light hitting him from the top left (which doesn't really show now that I look at it, should've upped the effect). Of course I left the newspaper on his shoe! It's street, yo!

Sorry for picking the easy route on this one but the only edit someone did of your character was like a female gremlin so I thought that was a bit unfair. The white on white makes this picture very difficult to work it. I had to zoom in and cut it out as best as I could, instead of just picking areas as a whole to cut off. Would not recommend anyone taking pics in their fancy garage if they're wearing white. You can see my shoddy work by the white left with the strands of hair. Not my best, sorry.

Shiro's character is a goddamn model and he knows it. I cheated and went for two pics. I called the second one "GtayParade" and I laughed at my own joke for 5 minutes. As for the first one...yeah, I didn't bother. I did try out face "molding", like putting faces together. Looks like I did a portrait using crayons.

Okay, seriously, do you do commissions? This is by far the best GTA picture I've ever seen. Mostly because of the nipples but...daaaaaaamn! I've been staring at this and drinking all the details in for a good 20 minutes. Seriously. Not that I can afford a commission, just wondering if you're some sort of paid artist on like HF or DeviantArt.

Also, ThatGamerChick does amazing drawings. Like, she wins the thread by a mile. I don't think you'd be able to spare a few minutes and draw me? Just sit on your hand for 20 minutes and then try to draw a ruined anus and it's most likely gonna look like this:

No worries if I'm too disgusting to draw. I'm just such a huge fan at this point that I had to ask. I can also provide a picture where I'm wearing eyebrows as I don't typically have any. Yeah, don't ask.

People that DRAW are definitely the ones that should get all the likes. Some amazing edits, sure, but...drawing is such on a much more personal level, I feel...I dunno, it's pretty cool. Edits are for the lol's, drawing is for the feels. Don't get me wrong, so many good pics in here that a lot of these edits made my night that much better but I'm so awestruck by the drawings.

That's a good idea, I guess it would give new visitors the idea of what's going on here.

Not only that but it makes you look more invested in your thread. Many just make a post and dump their thread, leaving the convo for others to make. An engaging OP is my favorite OP and nothing says, "hey, welcome to my thread" like a well-worded and organized first post. That can set your whole tone on what you're expecting and from what I've seen you want constructive posts. Changes can be done over time so don't worry about it too much. Different font colors if you want, some pics, spoiler tags, a banner, sections cut off (like your rules can have it's own "section", divided by lines or a table if you feel like giving yourself a headache). I had a thread ages ago that I easily put 8-10 hours in the first post, got pinned and then I spent many more hours editing it over time and making it a project. I've seen threads with great potential and I told the OP's about making it a project to work on and make that thread amazing but I've yet see any of them get pinned. The thing is you've already got a pinned thread and quite an amazing concept/thread. I just feel you got more potential to unlock by showcasing what your threads got so far, what you want people to do (rules and tutorial/instructions) and anything else you feel should be added (like a weekly pic challenge where you post a pic and people can tackle that one for "extra points" and have a leaderboard, while user submitted images like the ones we're doing now are worth less points or something).

 

Apologies if I'm going mental over this but I can't help running with an idea when I get one. I may be thinking too much for something that you want kept simple (which is probably best). You're already at 28 pages so take my advice as if I was a drunk Uncle in a park throwing coins at pigeons and yelling, "transform, damnit!"

Wow, I was summoned and I didn't know. I feel bad now for being 2 weeks late. I'm gonna grab some food and hold out for a bit before I collapse on my bed (5AM, yet to go to bed) but I'd never sleep knowing I could have a drawing of my cougar!

You're also the first person to call "it" a her. No one is quite sure what "it" is. Most assume it's a guy in drags. I just refer to him/her/it as The Cougar.

A thread for posting up pictures you'd like people to have fun with whether that be drawing them, editing them or whatever.

 

Rules:

1. Please don't spam too many pictures when requesting, if people don't want to edit the one you post then give it a few days before you post another.

 

2. There are already quite a lot of requests so any people looking to draw.edit a pic, don't feel like you have to do the most recently requested, go through the thread, see if there is anything you'd like to do, and be inspired by other people's drawings/editing.

 

3. Don't have a bitch fit if you don't like how someone has edited your character, this thread is a lottery, you'll get works of art, or you'll get dildos in your hand.

 

4. Don't go overboard, I'm not going to say keep it appropriate because where's the fun in that, but draw the line somewhere.

Agreed that first post should feature more edits, as well as best DRAWN and best EDIT of the week. I suggest changing the pic each Monday like the Time Trials so it's easy to remember to change them/check the best ones out.
