In the mission list, you will see the 7th mission is listed in the middle column which, of course, means the mission is an overlapping mission. For those who haven't read my previous posts, whole chapter 2 will be overlapping, so next few missions won't be POV based either. Kill the 'main' squad first, as they have way more health than the 'backstabbers' and no headshots and they may kill Adams easily if you focus more at the 'backstabbers' squad. I was under the impression that when Tyler informed Ryan that he ran the threat of being captured while storming Stackhouses home and being forced to reveal information about Adams, that meant Adams wanted Ryan to return to him ASAP, otherwise there would be consequences. Then again, It's possible that Adams let Ryan do his own thing and kill Stackhouse. Just need a bit of clearing up. Nevertheless - no. Adams doesn't want Ryan dead since Ryan wasn't captured by Stackhouse's men. Plus, Ryan revealed to Adams pretty much all important things about Stackhouse and 'Shadow Identity' motives. Since the prime motive of Stackhouse is to capture Adams, letting Ryan possibly kill Stackhouse was a smart idea by Adams since he would have one threat less on his head since he already has to worry about Miller. However, you're correct at a certain point of view. You see, Adams brought both Tyler and Ryan to one of his bases in Fallen Tree and that's the info Ryan and Tyler should only benefit from IF they're teamed up with Adams. Otherwise, if they would turn against Adams, they would still know about one of his bases which would put Adams at a disadvantage and therefore, they would be a threat to Adams cause they could reveal that info to Miller or Stackhouse. Adams sent Tyler and his ''second in command'' goon to the location of Stackhouse's base to see if Ryan killed him or if Ryan maybe got killed himself. This is the point where you would be right. If Ryan by any chance got captured by Stackhouse, he would still be in possession of the location of one of Adams' bases in Fallen Tree and there would be a threat of revealing that info to Stackhouse in exchange for saving his own life. In that case, Adams would surely want Ryan dead because with Ryan dead, the info about Adams' base in Fallen Tree would stay a secret. However, as I said, since Ryan survived, there is no need to kill him. And even if Ryan potentially got captured by Stackhouse's men later, it would still not matter since as you saw, Adams and the rest left the base in Fallen Tree already.
