gts. 2,300
Uhm...it's also using unmodified PS2 geometry and ships with unused PS2 txds...that's a pretty strong hint. And unfortunately it uses PS2 WorldStream map system which makes the game stuttering because of frequently loaded and unloaded worlds. Also thats the reason of bad draw distance. Great, that's why they didn't added the draw distance option into the menu then... and by consequent the draw distance in-game is very low. It seems. Then, the same happens on the iOS version? I don't know if the iOS version you can modify the draw distance, that's why I'm wondering this. Edited February 16, 2016 by gts.
Maryo_Nicle7 95
Anyone knows where's the savegame location of GTA LCS in Android? The previous games like GTA SA, VC and III were located in emulated/0/android/data/com.rockstargames.blablabla, but now it's lost and cannot be founded, the savegame worked in my GTA LCS, but its location may spread somewhere in my internal memory, but I couldn't find them. Fooking Rekt 596
I BELIEVE you can access that location using an external file manager like Astro File Manager and copy files to non secured storage without root. I am not 100% sure though, since the last time i did this was on a phone running Gingerbread 2.3.6 and Android has become more secure over the years.

Rockstar Games may not have done that. Lucid Games could have implemented that.
Lethal Vaccine 7,176
Thankfully I was able to get the Saves from iPhone 6 onto my PC and vice versa to back them up. I never would want to lose my work. I've got everything backed up on 6 Memory Cards, USB Drive, PC, iPhone 6, and PS3 Internal Hard Drive. I think I am covered!

But don't worry guys, there is a way to backup: 1- You should learn how to activate Developer Settings submenu and activate it. 2- Enable 'usb debugging' and 'desktop backup password' (some devices won't backup without that password) under settings->developer settings 3- Download ADB binaries 4- Connect phone to PC and open command line 5- After seeing the device in adb devices, run adb backup -f backupfilename.ab com.rockstargames.gtalcs 6- Enter backup password from device's screen. 7- After process is done, deactivate usb debugging. You won't be able to see save games' itself, but instead of that you will get one encrypted file that contains all the things inside the data folder. To restore it; adb restore backupfilename.ab Edited February 16, 2016 by erorcun
Fooking Rekt 596
@erorcun, like i said. That was Android 2.3.6, back then Android was less secured. On my first Android phone, without root i could read and copy those files (Samsung Galaxy Pocket) Second phone, read only. (Samsung Galaxy S Advance) Third and current phone, nothing. The files act like they aren't there without having root (Samsung Galaxy S5)
Wheatley 1,289
Not my video - but the game runs on the lowest settings on the Nexus 4, seems to be stock-clocked on 5.1.1. I'll see about doing a test on Marshmallow with Hells-Core Kernal.
xNCx 154
Non-root users can use Helium/Carbon backup app. I used it when I didn't have root and it worked almost all the time. However, if Lucid Games makes some bigger changes, the savegames might get useless, so let's wait till we have a stable version.

xNCx 154
Are you sure? It worked for me with almost every game I backed up. Tested the game today. Although my device is not officially supported (Tegra 3, 1 gb ram, CM 12.1), the game works although it lags. Just played it for a few minutes so can't give any opinion, but I think this is a "playable" lag. The map loading system is awful. As it's based on PS2, do we have any chances Lucid Games will change it? And I have to admit that the font is... Too small .
FalconKing 1,200
It's still bothers me.... Why Radio Del Mundo between all the radio stations on the GTA mobile releases got replacement songs? other radios got some songs removed and left that way but this one got removed and replaced by a different one. Not sure why they did this? They have removed 4 songs but they also added 3 new ones. (These songs seems to be out of their place, i prefer the original PS2/PSP one). Couldn't do the same for the others as well? Anyways, So Far... Apart from a bit of lag at some points, It works fine on my Galaxy J7. Happy for spending $4 on this game, time to go back in time. GTAKid667 10,905
New update just arrived, anyone knows a changelog? Thanks for letting us know, I didn't notice there was an update. I'll go and update my game. Official Patch Notes are on the Rockstar Support Website but do not say much: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/216694387--Updated-2-17-16-Grand-Theft-Auto-Liberty-City-Stories-Mobile-Patch-Notes "Android Version 1.9: Resolved an issue where some users would remain on a black screen after relaunching." Just another small patch like the previous update. The Version Number in game is '1.02' but on Google Play and Rockstar's own site they are referring to it as '1.9' for some reason.
