Doing flips with a helicopter? Well, it's already possible - with the help of other world objects that is. It could be made possible without nearly crashing by just increasing the sensitivity but then it obviously would fly like sh*t. Even then - flying upside down? Not possible considering how the game is coded right now. They would have to write a whole new handling category just for one vehicle - and just so you can fly upside down with ONE chopper, which would serve absolutely no purpose? Don't think so.

 

Besides that, I don't think a Hunter would really be usefull... It would essentially just be a reskinned Savage. All the quirks the Savage has - bad handling, terrible armor - are obviously for balancing purposes.

 

 

What stops helicopters from doing flips and going upside down right now is something called auto stabilizing. Basically, if you tilt a helicopter in any direction too far, the game will sense this and stop you you from tilting any further.

 

Most helicopters in the old GTAs were similar to this, but the Hunter wasn't. The Hunter had very little/no auto stabilizing. This meant that you had to be gentle with the controls, but you were able to do a lot of things you just couldn't with other helicopters.

 

Seeing as the Savage can get upside down when it crashes, I think it might be possible for them to simply turn auto stabilizing off for the hypothetical Hunter, and then it would probably fly like it used to. Obviously, it couldn't fly upside down for a long time, but it could get upside down, and do flips/all sorts of flashy moves. It might also give it a better chance of dodging homing launcher missiles.

That's probably it. Dancing games and maybe drinking games similar to BoGT. Probably won't be much different than the strip club really.

 

But if the dancing game does return, maybe that means one day that the Lowrider Dancing game will eventually return too.

Smaller rotor size? Maybe, but would that really matter? Considering how sluggish choppers are in this game I don't think it's really possible to fly 'em close enough to obstacles, where five feet less diameter would matter. And where do you get the idea of better armor and turreted machine gun? Even if they want to sell something better - I'm not sure, they would deliver something that op.

 

@Icantthinkifonew: You're right, I didn't actually think about auto leveling - through I don't now, if that's actually something which can be turned of or if it's anchored in the basic handling files for helicopters. Again - I don't think it would be really usefull to flip da sh*t out of a chopper - considering with how handling works at the moment you would need a lot of room to the sides and loose a whole lot of altitude.

San Andreas had a regular dancing minigame as well. It was introduced to the player through a mission where you had to steal a van with a kickin stereo from a beach party for Jeffery.....I mean O.G. Loc's party. You basically seduced the girl with your smooth dance moves and she invites you into the van, you kick her ass out and haul ass to the lock up.

Instead of the lowrider dance mini game we can have a hopping contest, who ever hops the highest wins and if your car gets stuck in the air you lose.

Also during the contest your car should be able to break from time to time resulting in an automatic loss. I have seen entire drive shafts fall off, wheels and springs pop off and so on. Seen trunks get on fire too!

V is still the best game IMO. I won't be buying another game anytime soon.

When did you start playing GTA V online? just aking because you seem completely oblivious to how far backwards the game has gone since release. I thinking only a recent player could see the game that way.

 

What do you mean backwards? GTA is still lots of fun to me and look at my join date.

 

As in the game is more limited and broken than it used to be. Almost everything has been adjusted/nerfed/broken for the worse. Its still playable but its not the great freedom game it once was. On realease a lot of things didnt work 100% but rather than continue to finish the game rockstar just cuts out parts of them game. The playlist system is the prime example of where the game went very wrong compared to how it was supposed to be.What about the challenges/tournament option they have. I don't think they even used the option unless it's for the event playlist now. Remember that glitch that would win you $100k-$1m for completing a simple race in a given time in 2014?

 

R* even has stats for money given to players, along with the money shared stat. It reads $0 for money given to others and has been in the game since launch but no one has been able to access the option (it's even still present on CG consoles), as well as crew emblems on jackets being locked.

 

There's a lot of original coding that is going through the game that may or may not be in effect behind the scenes, but I don't see why they aren't simply removed. Who knows what R*s intentions originally were with GTAO, but it's evolved beyond what was expected.

 

Maybe when the game reaches the end of its lifespan, R* will unlock the game for full use, by then modded accounts may be shut down. They can't just lock out part of the game for it's lifespan, leaving broken/cut content if they have the ability to update the files that have always in-game. It's like teasing people for nothing.

 

It's not like the Hunter being in game advertisements, since there are literally no files or lock outs for the content. It's more consisting of what can be seen in stats and clothing options.

 

Sorry if this is messy, I just haven't seen this discussed at all.

But the Savage has lots of flaws and there's place for improvement. Preferably in the form of a Hunter with better armour and amazing manoeuvrability. The Hunter could also provide for some variety. An attack chopper with rockets for the pilot and a proper nose gun that can exclusively be used by the gunner would be very nice. Especially since there's already a model for it, it's not unthinkable they still plan to add it at some point.
