It was when it was leaked, which is why mplowrider may change too. I don't think it'll be called LR2, the content won't change, but the name will.

What i was trying to say was...

 

Fun just said Lowriders 2 is the next update's name due to that is what is stated in content menus and so on, like previous updates.

 

I just wanted to ask if the next update is really called Lowriders 2, because E&OC filename was "mpapartment" but the actual update wasn't.

 

Which is the same case with this update because the filename is called "mplowrder2" which doesn't mean the update is going to be called "Lowriders 2".

 

I just want some confirmation, We will have to wait and see I guess.

Can't see that happening, especially with the player base but I hope I'm wrong though.

If some amateur game developer that went bankrupt can do it then I'm highly certain that Rockstar can figure out a way to make it work.

I doubt that considering they are in the IFruit files and two of them have been leaked already. The 900R and RS were not found by anybody and were hidden by R* on purpose, unlike the other DLC vehicles.

the other thing is, where in the files was the potential update even called LR2?

This is added to fmmc.gxt2 (In-game texts file for the content creator).

0x4880B74F = "fmmc_avail_low2"

This is the text that appears when you select one of the new content in the content creator like new vehicles or new weapons to inform you that this content is from "XXXXX" update.

 

 

I stand corrected, although I still don't think Lowrider Part 2 is happening. That's a belief and opinion, not a fact. I won't mind being wrong.

Why do that, when it wasn't done for Lowriders? There's no excuse to release them at separate times, because of all these double $ events we've gotten. Most players that spent a considerable amount of time in these playlists will have made more money than those that haven't. They'll need something(s) to spend that money all at once.

The illegal Gambling thing was discussed on the SP DLC Thread and the conclusion was, It is not considered gambling or illegal if you dont win any real life money. Whether you are an idiot and decide to throw your money away then that is your issue.

There shouldn't be any excuse as to why they won't release a casino DLC. especially if the put a massive billboard in-front of it saying "Opening soon"

Why couldn't you do it with exact odds of real casinos? That would mean the house has an advantage but not a ridiculous one.

 

Me, I just think it would be fun to go in and gamble my money. I do understand that in the long run I probably don't come out ahead (but then, I have had a good understanding of this concept in real life for a long time). The lure is just more new things to do in the game. Most things are money sink holes in the game, the casino being one more fits right in.
