Everyone is saying something big is coming because of the money, but would really be that far fetched if it was just for Lowriders 2 considering the amount of people that complained about the price of benny's cars?

 

P.s not disagreeing or agreeing something big is coming.

Truth. But really, they are pretty much always doing x2$$ x2RP on some random stuff. Like at least every couple weeks it seems. I think it is just their way of trying to keep the playerbase engaged.

 

 

Except for x2 Heist last summer. That was clearly a setup for Executives now that we look back on it.

Yea they do for adversary but they don't give you that much money imo. X2 Vip i made like $8m and with these x2 missions i'm probably going to be making a nice amount as well. I'm probably going to be around the same amount i made for x2 heists, which is why i do believe this money is intentional for the next update, just i don't know if it's going to be as big as everyone thinks.

it seems people still want new content for this game yet R* only put out updates for stuff that was only available for a certain time period and now they do events which had double money and exp which has happen in last two weeks and now people are thinking huh i wonder if theres a dlc coming out soon.

it would be nice if there was new content to play with and maybe some new cars as well.(no doubt that will be over priced)

Considering that the last update was barely more than two new cars, and we got the V-Day update again this month, then next one might be a big update.

LR2 isn't happening though. The content is happening, but I don't think anything suggests we're getting a sequel to that particular update.

So if we get some new lowriders and some new weapons and clothes along the same line as what we saw with the lowriders update but this update is called something else does it matter what it's called? It's still an update based on lowrider type cars and that's all people care about. They can call it The Disney Princess update for all I care. Just give me more cars that I can take to Benny's and spend my millions on.

In fact we don´t know if it is based on lowrider type cars. The painting of the leaked SlamVan looks more like a hot rod and the Sabre painting looks more like a low rider but the Sabre itself is a very bad choice for a low rider. Now we know that Benny do more than low rider so it could be hot rods based for example and "LR2" was just a place holder.

Yeah its most likely not going to be called that. (That is why i put it in speech marks/ quote).

When Dragoon leaked the content it could have been in development at the time. They could release the leaked content as well as adding more things to the update, so its a bit too early for people to judge on what you like or not.

It was/is called "mplowrider", now that could refer to the Lowriders DLC back in October, but then that would mean that the cars have been cut from that DLC until now. It's not called "mplowrider2", so that would make LR2 less likely.

^No one actually knows what the next dlc will be though.

 

People are so strict about this thread being on topic, yet it's impossible for this thread to be on topic until the next dlc has actually released. At the end of the day, even people like Fun don't know for sure what the next dlc will be, so it's all speculation.

This is added to fmmc.gxt2 (In-game texts file for the content creator).

0x4880B74F = "fmmc_avail_low2"

This is the text that appears when you select one of the new content in the content creator like new vehicles or new weapons to inform you that this content is from "XXXXX" update.

XXXXX = Update name

Same with previous updates:

0x6684BA9F = ~a~ - The Festive Surprise

0x6684BA9F = "fmmc_avail_xm2"

0x27926416 = ~a~ - Ill-Gotten Gains Update 2

0x27926416 = "fmmc_avail_lux2"

The codename is LOW2 and the fmmc text is "Lowrider 2".

It was when it was leaked, which is why mplowrider may change too. I don't think it'll be called LR2, the content won't change, but the name will.

it's still called mpapartment That's it's file name, not its actual update name which is E&OC. It's update name obviously changed from its file name, they wouldn't call it "The mpapartment Update"
