Within the recent update, they have recorded new audio for Benny.

The voice actor is working with them and I don't think they are stupid enough to tell him come back after 4 months or 3 months to finish the audio for Lowriders 2.

So.. Lowriders 2 isn't a thing anymore?

 

No, It means the next update is Lowriders 2 or a update related to Benny's customs.

Because they have the opportunity to make the full use of Benny voice actor.

Great evidence SoLS. Also the rapper in the second vid is a great influence to the kids in the video. If, however you can find me a WW2 plane livery on a car used by gangstas, then I might be more convinced it's still LR2, until then, it's a Hot Rod update in my eyes.

Its still a lowrider update in my eyes because the buccaneer is the perfect example. You don't really see lowriders with a flame paint job, mostly engravings, graphic arts and so on but almost never flames. R* is not going to make every livery a lowrider style especially for the slamvan. Its both a hot rod and lowrider, they just want to give the player the choice of which style they want. Another reason why we have hot rod style wheels at bennys. Here is the car the buccaneer is based off of, the 1963 buick riviera. Both lowrider and rod style!

Its maybe called lowriders 2 or maybe a new name but the update is focused on lowriders but with the choice of making your car a hot rod style. Been like that since lowriders 1. Seen a lot of voodoos and chinos into rod styles. Only cars that arent really in the hot rod category are the primo, faction and moonbeam.

Hopefully the next DLC isn't just a rehash of what we already have, being Lowriders. Sounds so boring having more of the same features we already have on cars.

That's a good point and further adds to why it won't be Lowriders but hot rod and muscle car customization based. We've got Lowriders, sports cars, possibly hot rods and muscles, all that's left is super cars, bikes, compacts, SUVs and much more.

Really? Looks like something some players may want. Isn't mandatory of course. Just optional for a player. I'd upgrade a Slamvan to that. Plus the WW2 airplane shark teeth livery.

I definitely wouldn't mind if more cars were as customizable as the Ratloader. gtuned posted a highly modified Valor in the appreciation thread that actually meets the expectations of what the customization level in this game should be.

World War Two era fighters would be pretty fun. I'd love a Messerschmidt-Spitfire-Mustang hybrid with quad .50's. It'd be no Hydra killer but strafing would be amazing and I'd love dogfighting with my friends.

everyone knows this update (LR2 or Whatever it is called) is coming eventually, they might as well get it out of the way so we can start predicting on some exciting and game changing content. this year hasn't started very well regarding GTA Content but i think there maybe a reason to that. let us just hope there are more cars to this update than what was leaked. If not, I personally will just have to skip this update and continue grinding towards the real reason why they keep handing us money bonuses.

I really wish there was an option to put the hydraulics on instead of it automatically happening with the "upgrade."

 

I love everything about Buccaneer custom except the fact that it has hydraulics.

 

If they give us some hot rod style mods for some cars at Benny's but they have to have hydraulics, I probably just won't bother.

Casino: Use job points. Concert then to casino chips and then gamble. Smaller payouts but you could win millions if you're lucky as hell. Means you have to play the damn game to play the casino - and since we all enjoy some mission form (racing, adversary, etc) it's not too hard. Play a few, drop em in the casino, gamble and walk away.

 

No GTA$ used going in which negates the shark card gambling risk.

Or they could create a new contact for missions at the Casino, who only pays you in chips, which you could gamble with or convert to cash. You would not be able to purchase chips with cash obtained elsewhere.

We're getting close to the announcement and release of Lowriders part 2 or whatever it may be called. I say it's a hot rod/ Lowriders update simply because of the Slamvan3's WW2 era plane shark teeth livery. Those do not go on lowriders. The other cars in the leak can also be made into hot rod style cars, I.e the Tornado, Sabre turbo, faction2, Virgo and the slamvan of course. The minivan however is strange. It could be a Lowrider and look weird at the same time. I'm sure we'll see what it is by the end of the month. Edited February 15, 2016 by AlphaSierra111996

It's possible the minivan may not even get hydraulics or lowrider customization like the Sultan and Banshee. Possibly it could have its own stylings like "Baby On Board" or similar window decals, car seats, etc. Maybe some unique hubcap options, mismatched or missing, and they fly off when you take corners too fast.
