I realy woud love to see some more modern gran tourers and super cars....

Got about the same feeling about muscle cars now as i had about armored and armed vehicles after heists: it was realy cool...but now lets just f*ck those things and implement something diferend, especialy since this is not suposed to be a war game/redneck sim.

I must say we kinda have had racecars to by now...and they pretty much sucked.

Especialy considering since LA has more of a high end car culture and the muscle car class is huge, its time to hold lowriders 2 for somewhere in august and release more high end high performance stuff instead....or you know,...maybe a few more modern muscle cars...or atleast some special unique things like the hipster update did.

Im thinking a 6 seater limousine that we can actualy store, a one seater compact car and a hatchback 4 door that actualy can be turned into a 2 seater ricer...and some electric or hybrid car(s) based on the tesla s or the porche 918 spyder...

Could be, though I was thinking about them adding new muscle cars. If they do I guess it would be called something along the lines of "The American Muscle Update" or something.

That sounds like wishful thinking lol, and I'm down with that. I feel like they would avoid using 'American' but who knows. And I really don't think it would be called Lowriders 2 because the first one wasn't advertised as being a two parter like IGG was. Maybe Friends in 'High' Places is a drug reference. What were the other "Leaked" titles in that sketchy email. They actually sounded pretty legit honestly.

After coming back to my stilt apartment at the end of a long and weary day dodging Buzzard missiles and Lazer canon fire, what I really want is to almost trip over some assh*le cat who doesn't even give a sh*t that I had a rough day and just wants to meow at me because there's slightly less food in the food dish than when I left in the morning.

I don't see Rockstar doing nothing at all for Heists anniversary and I don't see them overlapping a Heist event with another big update. So for tomorrow, I guess we'll either get a very small update (e.g. only an adversary) or nothing at all, then a Heist related thing next Thursday/Friday.

I dont care what they add really. So long as its not just more cars and adversary modes. That big increase in 8 million active players can easily be connected to the shift of focus from PvP and cars to PvE with the EOC and Freemode updates. Thats what happens when you give content to a massive portion of the community thats been ignored since launch. We dont care about properties or vehicles, races or jets. We've got a massive amount of money to blow since all we've had to buy with each update are clothes and the occasional weapon.

I used to say mansions were impossible because a massive amount of content would need to be added to warrant their existence in the game. But when we get a yacht with its own interior, a helicopter, hot tub, various boats and a cannon that shoot down aircraft and keeps PvP trolls at bay its not unreasonable to believe a mansion is at the very least possible. They could add a pegasus helipad to spawn whatever air vehicle you want on your roof. They could make it to where VIPs could start missions from inside their mansion and the bodyguards would have do various activities or heists. Like piracy prevention there could be a region of the mansion thats PvP and attackers attempt to rob a vault or something. They could do something similar to the yacht where every weapon you own spawns inside the mansion. That would satisfy all the people asking for a weapon locker.

 

 

Not sure why some thought it wasn't possible, the question really was, would it be profitable? I do think Rockstar has their answer after seeing shark card sales after the yachts (poor parents, after shelling out $100 for a fake yacht, now they gonna have to do it for a fake crib). Like others, I do think they will do mansions one day but are upgrading step by step (referred to as the drip system by one poster).

 

I'll tell you what would be cool. VIP missions where you have to kill the VIP in the mansion. He doesn't appear on radar, and while the attackers are in stealth mode, they don't either (though if they got out of stealth mode, they appear on radar). If the mansions are big enough with places to hide and your body guards protecting you, i think that would make for a fun VIP experience with some strategy mixed in.l.

 

Id be all over that. It would be nice if all the effort put into adversary modes shifted into expanding the VIP model. The formula is already there and ready to be expanded upon.

 

Its been super slow at work so here are some example i've thought of to pass the time.

 

Example: Replace VIP and SecuroServ with

 

A.Drug Seller and Drug Lords(Security deposit $300,000) Gang style clothes - Bennys low riders. - Frogger

B.Dirty Cop and Lobbyists(Security deposit $500,000) Law enforcement clothes - Various police cruisers and Van. - Buzzard

C.Entrepreneur and Benefactors (Security deposit $800,000) Suits, dresses, sports attire. - Infernus, T20, Adder, Osiris - Super volito

 

Replace sightseer briefcases with either

 

A.Client for drug deal minigame

B.Photos for film development minigame

C.Laptop for data extraction minigame

 

Replace executive search event circle with either

 

A.Find and destroy the drug sellers hotbox car - requires the player use a low rider to start.

B.Find and destroy the dirty cops surveillance van - requires the player use the van to start.

C.Find and destroy the Entrepreneur sports car - requires a vip use one of the legendary motorsports vehicles..

 

Replace hostile takeover briefcase with

 

A. Go to gang territory, kill gang, collect drugs, deliver drugs to rival gang hideout

B. Go to (location), kill targets, collect compromising photos, deliver to clients house

C. Go to rival corporations facility, steal private data/blueprints, deliver to benefactor.

 

Replace yacht and piracy prevention with:

 

(the security deposit works just as the vip deposit. So long as the money is in your bank account you can own these properties for the duration of your timer)

 

A. Drug Seller can pay a security deposit of $1,000,000 to own a property in free roam for the duration of their timer and it serves as the headquarters for their organization. Attackers have to play a slight minigame to crack the vault while the drug lord and their pushers fight them off. One of the drug lords abilities is to call in 3 waves of reinforcements from rival gangs at the cost of $5,000. Or pay a 1 time fee of $1,000,000 to own the rival gang and call them anytime with a 10 minute cooldown.

 

B. A police chief can pay a security deposit of $5,000,000 to be the operator of a safe house in free roam for the duration of their timer and it serves as the headquarters for their organization. Attackers have to play a slight mini game to crack the vault while the crooked cop and their officers fight them off. Crooked cops can call in 3 waves of reinforcements from swat at the cost of $5,000. Or pay a 1 time fee of $3,000,000 bribe the police station and call them anytime with a 10 minute cooldown.

 

C. Entrepreneur can pay a security deposit of 10 mil to 30 mil to rent out 1 of many different mansions for the duration of their timer and serves as their organizations headquarters. Attackers have to play a slight mini game to crack the safe while the entrepreneur and his staff defend it. Entrepreneurs can call in 3 waves of reinforcements from merryweather at the cost of $5,000. For a 1 time fee of 5 mil pay merryweather for a lifetime contract and call them anytime with a 10 minute cooldown.

 

Aaand my shift is up. That was fun. I can barely wait for the highly anticipated tennis rackets vs miniguns adversary mode!

Let me quick break down for yall what an armored truck hit means. It means going up against two+ individuals who likely served in the armed forces, who embrace gun culture and more tham likely go shooting often.

 

They dont make much money and likely if u get the drop wont fight u, certainly wont shoot u in rhe back only to get charged for it. So take the cash and run.

 

Much better off hitting a small bank with ZERO armed guards.
