That sh*t's been cooking so long? Such a waste.

Actually this should be good news for you.

I guess it was planned but then cut from development and then used again for January 2016 update.

If they keep using cut content then we might see the Hunter in the future.

What a waste of a newswire post...a page of info that regular players were already WELL AWARE OF lol. IMO, with the game being as old as it is, these dry spells are absolutely brutal. We're so used to getting new content that double cash and adversary modes hardly cut it. If we got a few new cars every two to three weeks it would greatly improve the wait between actual updates.

Some cheese with your whine sir?

I'm just losing faith in this game right now. Got two years of amazing gameplay out of it... but this is a severe drought of content. We need a major update like heists again. Not a medium sized update like lowriders.

Severe drought. Had a massive update mid December. We have had 2 festive packages since, 3 new cars, and several adversary modes (save it, I don't care for them either).

What other game updates like that?

2 years is a long time to play ANY game. I suspect you can count all the games you have played that much on one hand and have fingers left over. Sounds like it is time for you to move on.

MASSIVE? hahaha.. no.. that's not massive. We got a yacht. 5 missions to play in freemode.. and that's it. If you think that's MASSIVE.. then you are very easy to please. The heist update was an actual MASSIVE update. It had 5 heists with several missions in each one with varying roles to keep even those missions interesting. Plus it included tons of vehicles, clothing, and introduced new freemode activities like "Distract the Cops." THAT is a massive update. VIP was not a big update at all.

And yes.. no shi* it's time for me to move on. Which is why I have.. along with thousands of other players. If Rockstar wants to keep GTAOnline being a progressive world, they need to continue to.. you know.. progress the world.

Right now it's dull as can be for players who've been playing since day 1. I would love to come back to it.. but Rockstar hasn't given me a real reason.

Close to a year later, and the Heist update is arguably bigger than the updates we've gotten since. Two swag updates, new free mode events, Lowriders and some Lamar missions, Yachts, some new personal and pegasus vehicles, VIP missions, and two new cars.

EarlyLifeFailure

They should do an Easter dlc with easter bunny outfits and bunny ears, and a game where theres hundreds of easter eggs scattered around places like the college or the stadium, and one team hides in the easter egg and the other team has to go round and smash all the easter eggs up within the time limit, with bats or the new dlc weapon, the massive purple dildo, until they find the other team members and club them to death with the massive purple dildo.

They should.

Re-Dragon-Cro

What bugs? Im on ps4 and the game plays great. Matchmaking could be better, but im curious what bugs youre constantly experiencing?

They are called squeaker bugs. They are rampant.

Squeaker bugs are the worst. There's also this terrible bug where players are transparent and you can't kill them. I've noticed it ever since I transferred to CG, really wish they would fix that.

Now that reminded me of this:

lol

Pretty negative way to see things. Yes heist update was the biggest one but VIP was a big one also. Lot of new stuff. VIP work had 5 works and 5 challenges I think. But the 5 works are different everytime you do them cause its in free mode and you have to interact with other players. Maybe it wasnt your cup of tea but for other player it was a great addition that made the game a lot more interesting.

A Yacht and 5 missions? That's what you took away from the Executives and Other Criminals Update?

We received the following:

- 1 adversary mode

- 12 new freemode challenges (6 VIP missions, 6 VIP Challenges), all which drastically changed the dynamic of freemode whether you personally notice it or not.

- 73 new clothing options (34 male clothing, 39 female clothing)

- Two new weapons (Heavy Revolver and Switchblade, both with VIP and Bodyguard variants)

- 25, yes.. TWENTY-FIVE new vehicles.

- The ability to own 5 properties now.

- 3 new custom apartments (each with 8 different customization options) and 10 new stilt houses.

Arguably the largest game changing update since Heists.

If you don't think that's a massive update then you can f*ck right off. Online doesn't need people like you.

I found out that the help texts for Rhino Hunt Adversary mode was added to the global text file with the release of GTA V PC.

You know that the beta name for Rhino Hunt is "Davids vs Goliath" ?

0x1AD253DC = Survive the onslaught of attacks from the Davids.

0xFB483ACA = Using only sticky bombs work together to flank the Goliaths and take them out.

After January 2016 update, they changed "Davids" to "Hunters" and "Goliaths" to "Rhino".

I guess it was cut content but then it was planned to be used with the January 2016 update.

So they keep using cut content, huh ?

Rhino hunt should have stayed cut / scrapped.

Other game developers would have probably charge 20$ (£15) for E&OC. you guys have took your complaining too far by claiming E&oc wasn't big enough.

Ok toolbelt, if you want to play semantics, at least include everything.

Just in Executive and other Criminals, cars (to include a whole new class of armored vehicles and the armored limo), customizable penthouses, stilt houses, yachts, and a whole new VIP mode. But that's not massive, huh? And that isn't everything since mid December.

My guess is that they could include a whole new map expansion with all kinds of new activities, give it to you for free, and on day 4 you'd be complaining that not much was added.

Boy am I glad I'm not you, constantly unsatisfied with everything.

Listen here entitled one (and or special little snow flake)--when you plunked down $64.50 for a copy of the game, what you were entitled to was the copy of the game that they gave you, nothing more (you can make an argument for the Heist update if that was said before you bought the game). Everything thing else you got was the proverbial gravy on top of the meat.

But you know what, you don't like the updates. Cool. Don't play and don't post here, others will fill your whining void, You won't be missed. What a bunch of whiny little babies.

This is the case with Activision, EA and Overkill, just to put examples. The ones who complain don't know how to appreciate this stuff.

P.S: I'm the only one in this thread that wants to see new enemy types or NPCs in-game, aside from cars, vehicles, maps and clothes?

Does anyone else just want mansions and the casino?

I've said before (on r/gtav), they should really put more effort into entertainment content - i.e. stand up comedians, activities like bowling, ping pong, etc, new movies, bars and restaurants to visit, even just a cluck-n-bell, let me smoke a blunt and get high outside of my apartment, and I want to casino and mansions! I've got 50 cars and am reaching a point of saturation - I don't need more cars, I need things to do with them!

Also, I think it'd be so easy to add a skateboard/skates DLC where you can pull it from your inventory and ride around, jump, etc.

AND I want a personal driver - like the taxi driver but let me call him and pick which car I want him to drive and he'll pick me up and take me places. Same with my planes.

I like all of your ideas. I have to say though, mansions will satisfy the masses for all of about 4 days. Then it will be, "they are cool, but what can I really do with it." In other words, it would be the Yacht all over again. Honestly even though I really want one, I wouldn't bother if I was Rock Star.

But yeah, all of your ideas sound good to me.

I hope to God there's no lowriders.

I am sure God has nothing better to do than hear your very important GTA DLC update pleas.

Vinewood Motors knows Yan on twitter. So maybe Yan is spilling info on the Next DLC. Or maybe he want to get everyone excited for his usual Panto meet, or maybe he got told about the next GTA game. Don't expect anything major.
