The Next DLC Discussion Thread

Since its more of a wishlist thread for now until the next info/leak, I'll go with the things I want to see. We need something different. Something completely new that have new gameplay.

 

I'd like to see go kart, hovercraft, Speed boat, attack boat, submarine that seat more then 1 player, a formula one type vehicule, cargo plane with functional door at the back or a VTOL aircraft with that working door.

Me too. Just imagine a new set of supers with all kinds of new luxury details and above all; ridiculously beautiful and unique interiors. I'd pay top dollar for that uniqueness. It's why I bought the T20, that cool new spoiler (and of course because I love the P1, but it would have been "just another super" to me if it wasn't for the spoiler and doors). A Chiron with an interior inspired by the real thing, with the option to choose which colour you want it in, would seriously be worthy of a 4 mil price tag for me. I'd buy it in a heartbeat, even though it'd seriously drain my bank account

Interior in this game are a bit dull. To be fair the game wasnt design with detailed interior because we didnt have 1st person view. With the sultan RS that you can have a really cool racing interior makes me want to drive more in 1st person. I'm not expecting that much from car interior in this game but I feel that it's something that will be improve a lot in the next GTA game.

Compare the Osiris and t20 to the other supers and you have Huge gap of either greatness or flawed. Proper working Doors,working spoilers,sound are all very important features that either make the car or destroy it. And this doesn't just go for supers but Also sport and even coupe's. People always say "enough supers" but when done right they are a big joy to have,drive and look at.

The new Chiron is mental it'd be amazing if they added it in the game. Surprised they've not added a modern Lambo like the Aventador or Huracan, and Benny's for the T20 would be brilliant. The pic someone posted of the interior is not the Chiron's though.

Unless the car has active aerodynamics, like the rear wing on the T20, I'm not shelling out the cash for it. For four mil, it better be pretty damn good.

I'd happily pay 10 million for a car like the Batmobile, it would have to be worth it though. Other Supers I'd expect to max out around 6-7mil

I never listen to the in-game music. Its been turned off ever since late 2013.

It's been the best part of 12 years since GTA San Andreas came out, and there's been nothing like either of these (or the ZR-350, or the San Andreas versions of the Euros and Super GT...) in either HD-era game since. Far, far too long...

Is there any validity behind the claims that the GTA IV Virgo will be in the second Lowriders update?

 

I hope so, as the GTA IV Mercury Cougar / Lincoln Mark VI Virgo was one of the best cars in the game in my opinion. Even better than the current, '67 Chrysler Newport (a car I actually own in real life, mind you) / '68 Newport / '67 Eldorado Virgo.

 

Is the any solid proof that this might be the case beyond vague speculation?

 

In real life, I much prefer 60's Mopar C-bodies to 70's Ford Thunderbird-based cars, but between the GTA IV and V Virgos, IV's was much better designed. The current one is way too f*cking narrow for the car(s) it's based on.

There is no solid proof. But I'm pretty certain of it (just my opinion) I explained why a few pages back.

 

I think V was quantity over quality which was the opposite of IV when it came to cars. I prefer IV's too. But I don't want to complain because I'm happy we have 300+ vehicles in one GTA.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I figured as much, but I've seen enough references to the GTA IV Virgo recently that I thought it might be true.

 

I wish it was, but it somehow didn't seem very likely.

Then again Rockstar's (now typical) unusual claims and practices regarding update content have been so f*cking flakey that the wildest community speculation seems to be just as reliable, so who knows what to to believe at this point.
