sry no video. and only because of the boost, dont think it can be done in this car without it, its sh*t offroad, even a small bush makes it change direction. on the plus side its really tough, can take a beating almost like an insurgent and i still went trough 4 of them lol. my strategy was to boost off from the start, tumble (or drive if im really lucky) most of the way down, then boost off again and try to land in the finish.

Anyone done in it in a rocket voltic before I need a route. This time trial is still luck based and bs.

I hope whoever made this time trial gets thrown down a mountain to there death. I hope when they get to the bottom there character gets eaten by a pack of vultures. And no they don't get to f*cking respawn.

 

*Edit. F*ck this so called "time trial". f*ck the rocket voltic "10 minute" "recharge" before you can boost again. f*ck the rocket voltic boost only lasting barely 2 seconds. f*ck the featherweight vehicles in the game. f*ck this version of mt chiliad. f*ck the stupid side of the mountain they force you to go down. f*ck the having to get lucky on the landing to bounce the correct way. f*ck the cars not having infinite health for getting thrown down a f*cking mountian. just f*ck it I will not complete this "time trial" unless I get every future rockstar title for free with a mod menu that no one else can have and I can control what happens in the future games. If that doesn't happen I am not doing this stupid lazy excuse for a "time trial". I have spent too many d*mn hours on this one. Make new ones that don't involve mt f*cking chiliad anymore. 30 years of ideas and they only can make 22 time trials. Glad that this is the end of the 4th sequence of 22. Time trial 89 starts next week on Del Perro Pier. Down chiliad time trial should give you $1,000,000 if you complete it and all the other time trials. In gta san andreas you got a bonus $1,000,000 for beating all the street races.

Tried it with the Ruiner and finished in 1:10.

Though I did the entire run with the chute. Maybe if you drive the first ridge and jump where the road splits, it may be doable.

I tried it a good number of times last time this trial was up. It's not easy - though at least it's more fun, and when you crash you don't die like on a bike. I remember I was having pretty good luck launching almost immediately with a slightly rightward angle from the starting point, then just landing where I landed and trying to keep my momentum going downhill until I could launch again. Got pretty close to beating it twice but my final launch was miscalculated both times.

 

I plan to try it again later this week. Why not, it's more fun than a conventional run. If the Voltic had a parachute like the Ruiner does, this would be cake.

It's hard to describe a route - you spend half the time flying and you're lucky from run to run if you land in the exact same spots.

If they'd set it up better then this would have been the last one and if you made par along with all the others then a sizeable bonus should be paid out.

 

I quite like the fact the TTs are low key but they are bloody difficult and there's usually a reward for accomplishing difficult tasks in video games other than smug self satisfaction.

They probably made some of them extremely difficult because you can make $50,000 in less than 3 minutes. I would rather only get $25k if it gave me an extra 5 seconds to complete this one.

 

Than it starts to f*cking rain. Not waiting another 30 minutes for rain to go away. Well it does at night time for some stupid reason. New powerful consoles. Doesn't allow it to rain at nighttime in freemode. I will post this trash 58 seconds one I had yesterday. Close enough. Its under a minute. I tried to respawn at last second because it wasn't under the ridiculous amount of time they gave you. I don't care about the puny $50k.

There's a combination of frustrations with this one in particular. You've got the infuriating way that you traverse downwards slopes on foot in this game and the way that sometimes when you're standing right next to your bike you have to spam the button to get them to attempt to get back on, which more often than not kills your remaining restart window. f*cking horrible.

^Try with Ruffian, it has "softer" suspension due to medium speed comparing to other bikes like Bati.

Did it! Not perfect run but I finished so!

 

What really infuriates me is not dieing when crashing but that you cant get your bike delivered without changing session or join something and then back out!

It's challenging, but mostly I despise ragdolling down the f*cking mountain and then having to get back up. With a f*cked vehicle.

 

I know you can do custom race blah blah blah but I just wanna spend 30m having a go, not 3 hours swearing. Maybe I'm old.
