Well, i guess this can count as a progress - it didn't crashed the game as in the first time.

What i really don't like and have absolutely no clue how to fix it, is the lacking surface smoothness, despite increasing the mesh resolution at some spots. - i still see separate faces, maybe it has something how the game handles the polygons? I have edited the mesh as quads and haven't triangulate them.

Apart from usual issues, like lack of wheels, wildly spinning extra parts, etc.

@Alvarez Zmodeler3 lacks totally a good and advanced management of smoothing groups. to fix the surface smoothness export the car to 3dmax and under polygon mode there at 3dmax, select the faces with the problem and assign a smoothing group, 1 to 5 are recommended but it has 32 smoothing types

 

Export, assign dummies and materials from scratch and its gonna blow inside the game :)

I'm used to and working with Blender, but it has also a good smooth/subdivide modifier. I'd like to ask, what export format is better for transferring materials, 3DS or Collada?

I'm a bit of a beginner with ZModeler, so i chose the Hotknife as base for the mod, most similar to the Hustler, also, Hustler is a typical hotrod, much like the Hotknife.

 

I also encountered a game memory error, i guess, it has something to do with the polycount? It is pretty high with 25000 faces. Needs optimizing, anyway.

@Alvarez try .obj thats what i use, it does port materials very good.

Something else, you cant port gta5 materials into 3dmax without data for it. We need someone to develope every zmodeler3 car material into 3dmax. Right now 3dmax crashes when trying to read zmod3 GTA5 shaders

Also, I agree on using the Hotknife as a basis. Since the Fränken Stange's non hot rod version is the Roosevelt/Valor, it makes sense for the Hustler to be Hotkife's non hot rod version as well.
