Has anyone noticed we can't keep different crew color outfits

I like the fourth picture, as the hair fits the bohemian artsy type I try to portray.

 

I recently went back to the flapper outfits, not bad. I wish the feathers had better colours..because you know, black character, black hair...the feather melts in. Hair acessories wouldn't hurt.

 

I thought backpacks were a little out there, but I saw an NPC with one.

 

Is a sneak suit the same as a catsuit? That black widow type look?

Mgs sneak suits are filled with noise dampening tech and look a lot less flattering than cat suits.

 

They're still f*cking cool and I want one.

Like I said, I find it sad that I have to pray to the sun that I can at least have some articles of clothing to scrounge up something worth wearing. Or that a non crappy hairstyle that no one wears is added in. I find it annoying that NPCs on the street have everything we beg for..

 

All in all, Ill give it a try! The guns and maybe the jobs are good who knows, we dont know what they have to offer

 

Just as with other updates recently, probably all cut and paste.

 

Take two said that things will not slow down, so in the future, maybe they have something down the line.

It didn't even have the good guyish stuff either. Just more cars with missiles stuck all over them, etc. I like the APC, but that's about it.

I'm not sure what you're getting at with "actual female military clothing" because women in the military wear the exact same uniforms as their male counterparts. The "tactical" catsuits and "soldier" halloween costumes you're hoping for aren't actual military clothing.

Yep - see the MGSV fatigues I posted a page or so back, or even more obvious: the LSPD outfits (RIP... ) from Crooked Cop/Prison Break: Station!

 

Those are actually the perfect example of unisex functional clothing done right:

 

- crisp textures/detailing

- realistic design (not some weird generic thing)

- consistent for both male/female characters, and yet...

- ...proportioned to fit each body type properly

 

 

In fact, looking at a pic with both versions present:

 

 

 

...you can see that the shirts are designed to match, but aren't the same asset pulled around a bit - the shape of the shoulders, and the differences in the necklines, clearly show that the two versions were designed as separate assets from the ground up.

 

 

And regarding the bikers stuff (which, btw, seems to be what we're getting a lot of again with Gunrunning - denim/leather tops, now with camo prints... ), the reason why the one halter top (mentioned by Rexx) looks so much better than the other things is because similiarly, it's not just a cheap copy-paste of the male version of the same... ...because there is no 'male version' of it. R* had to design a unique, bespoke top for female characters, and as a result, it actually looks like it fits...

 

That's why something like a TBoGT-style 'nightlife' update or whatever would be a good start, IMO - simply because if R* added a load of new dresses and the like, there'd be no way they could cut corners and just tweak the male versions* of them, could they?

 

*before anyone says anything, no, I don't suddenly see R* going the Saints Row/Sunset Overdrive route, and making EVERYTHING unisex - boring lot that they are...!

Okay, commander, but when do you think we will see tangibile change? All we seem to be getting are VIP oriented updates, nothing new except iterations of of the same stuff.

 

Tiny racers was bullsh*t, a waste of time and resources, and cunning stunts was also a giant waste and shouldve kept it to one update, or dripped it...

 

Things like the halter top was a gem fo sho, and a fashion oriented update like TBoGT would remedy things because things would have to be personally built from the ground up, but when? It makes me wonder what they have down the pipe next?

IIRC, that one got changed at the same time as the topknot, as part of E&OC.

(I'm still royally cheesed off about that, and the similar changes made when Lowriders was added - one of the few things I'm holding out for from Gunrunning is at least ONE not-terrible new hairstyle, for the first time in ...nearly two years... )

I sort of both get and "don't get" the appeal of full-body suits. I have classily tacky tattoos damn it. I want to show off my partial cloverboob, and other assorted unmentionables.

 

I'm not saying I'd love to walk around naked either, I see no appeal in that.

 

I wish i could have clothing that would show of my tattoos at the same time as remaining somewhat decently clothed. I have *some* but a lot of it leaves more to be desired. It either clips weirdly, doesn't function together, doesn't show enough/shows too much. I just can't seem to find the sweet spot that is both visually appealing to me.

 

I'm not gonna walk around barefoot in a bikini in the middle of the city, either. What woman in her right mind would?
