Anyone notice the plain green/black/gray Sweaters have gone from the clothing lists? Or is it just me needing my glasses again?

 

I'm talking about these ones - the 'logo' variants are still there but I don't like using my body as a billboard:

 

 

 

 

On topic, cute things would be nice. Dresses with leggings and round-toed flats, moar bob and ponytail hairstyles

 

Maybe that's more 'mumsy' than cute but whatever

 

Wonder if they've been shuffled around, like the Special Tops menu (which now has subsections for brands, knock-offs, etc.) - might be worth looking under Sweaters, Sports Sweaters, Work Sweaters, etc. to see if they're now somewhere else...

You're right, plain sweaters are gone. I may have found a glitch to remove the logo from the other ones though, making them plain. But I'm not sure if it's reliable, or if they can be saved.

 

1: Put on a sweater with a logo.

 

2: Scroll to "Suit jackets" and hover over the very bottom one.

 

3: Pause and hit "Find new session".

 

When you spawn in, it should have removed the logo.

Even though this is basically off topic, as in belongs in RDR2, this is still pertaining to clothing choices.soooo I guess I'm in the clear.

 

I heard the trailer came out and apparently there will be native americans....sooo RDR2 Online= Native American physical appearance+ clothing and hair/ face paint to go even further?

I think I have 'demands' for GTAO because it's supposed to be contemporary, and I see a lot of fashions in reality i'd like to see featured in game. Possibly also because LS is presented as a vacuous hell where capitalism, materialism and self-image are celebrated and it's rubbing off on me... or maybe I'm overthinking this and just want to have some nicer knee-high boots, dresses and hairstyles to choose from

Yep - this.

 

By extension, apart from a small slice of players who are absolute history buffs, and another who are Western aficionados (two camps that will likely disagree vehemently, too!), the majority of people will be happy provided R* put in all the obvious staples of Western costumes in there - and it's not hard to go wrong there, I'd imagine.

 

Meanwhile, GTAO has, for the most part, suffered from reality/common sense suggesting one thing, and R* doing ...something else entirely, particularly when it comes to clothes (hence this thread! ). At the risk of exaggerating somewhat, if RDR2 came out with the same kind of glaring omissions as GTAO, you'd be able to wander around all the towns, and not see a single saloon in any of 'em. Sure, it wouldn't be a deal-breaker that totally destroys immersion in the game, but it sure would be f***ing weird, huh?

 

 

(granted, at times I feel the gaping holes in GTAO's selection of cars/clothes/hairstyles are more like R* bringing out RDR2 without ...revolvers and horses, but that's because I'm bitter... )

OK, so a while back I posted a photoshopped pic of my female character in a catsuit in a style I'd like to see. Let's be honest, that photoshopped pic was sh*t So, I decided to redo it, but put a lot more time into (just over 2 hours to be exact) and here's the final result:

 

 

Definitely gonna send this off to Rockstar and hopefully (if we don't get a catsuit for Halloween) they'll look into it along with another 1000 things the clothing afficionados want

I'd kill for a catsuit! I mean my characters aesthetic is based off my own style being a rocker/metalhead, but then also mixed with a lot of the current alternative/fetish models like Dani Divine, Starf*cked, Sister Sinister etc.

So the biker update gave me awesome leather jackets and pants and ripped stuff, but that's only half of what I want to be honest.

But knowing R*, who can't seem to give us a black that doesn't have green and purple splotches when you look close enough, imagine their result in trying to do a latex catsuit, where the light bouncing off it is a huge part of it's visual appeal.

I guess they'd basically have to take the vehicle colour of metallic Black and apply it to a whole body suit, but then boots become an issue, I mean flats are very much a no no if you going for the dominatrix/"sexy tactical" look, no? So do we then have to beg for stripper boots or knee high platforms too?

 

I also agree with REXX about if they do a literal cat suit, there'll be non removable tails and ears, otherwise it's not really a Halloween costume.

The catsuit is one item of clothing I wouldn't mind being expensive. You seen how much some of them cost in places like Atsuko Kudo?

 

I don't have the body for one in real life OR in GTAO - but at least in Los Santos I'll just have to sell a car or run a drug lab to recover the cost and eliminate buyer's regret
