Dear r* (regarding overall female clothing choices)

What'd you think we'll get?

 

Fishnets seems pretty cool, although I have an unfortunate gut feeling that they'll be a "shorts variant" with the fishnets attached to them.... I hope to god that they are labled as leggings and that all the leggings can be meshed together under denim shorts and skirts.

 

hopefully more than one cut . . . and that the hairstyle shown in the photo's ponytail isn't short as fk.

 

Obviously club jackets . . . I wonder what we'll be able to wear under them as well. I wonder what you guys think.

 

BOOTS! I almost forgot about boots... , boots are almost a given..perhaps.

 

As long as I can salvage stuff to make a dozen cool outfits, I'm satisfied! Wait for the trailer, then wait for the actual DLC, which happens to be within the realm of my BDAY! is the goal I guess.

Well...my character would appreciate sexy biker clothes even though I don't put sexy clothes on because its distracting for me. Tom boyish is cool but please no hardcore butchy type female clothes. We want a cool looking biker girl. Not like the female in the promotional pictures.

 

I have no worries for my main character since they like to make clothes geared towards male characters but I have to admit the women clothes are better than the males due to variety and mix. For males we have suits, jeans and shirts. After awhile they all look the same.

 

Since I'm trying to rank up my 2nd character, I can understand the concerns, now that I play with a female character the clothes are getting boring. Especially now that I'm into making videos and doing photoshoots.

 

Look at the ripped jeans on the Black character. Very nice. Please don't let it be pixelated. Some jeans are pixelated AF.

Exactly. Next gen should be able to handle more than just static hair. At least let us have a static ponytail that moves around a bit... that's PS2 graphics (good example is Mona Sax in Max Payne 2, her hair was made out of two static parts: the part on her head, and a ponytail attached to it which would move around). It's very simple, not that advanced but it'd be a game changer for me. Just a simple ponytail that moves around a bit

 

OT: I've been waiting for a decent biker jacket with long sleeves for some time now, like on the guy in the picture. I'm certain we'll get something like that for females, but I hope R* has the presence of mind to add both an open and closed version (I believe a female closed version can already be seen on the picture with the lined up bikes). Leather jackets of other, more modern, style (like the Lost woman in the picture above) would be cool as well. I'm also hoping for better looking high boots, with the much wanted possibility to wear with jeans, of course. The rest is just extra for me, I'm not expecting anything interesting. The boots in the picture might be interesting if they had a normal closed version and the possibility to wear them with jeans and more. Also interested to see the new leather pants and jeans, but I'll have to see about that

I'd like a long braided pony-tail hair style. Seems doable from what others have said and it's also a practical real-world hair style for women riders with long hair. You might think it looks good with your long hair freely flyin' as you ride but the wind and the whipping wreak havoc and make it a tangled mess.

 

And if there is even ONE corn-row hair style I'm selling all her cars and deleting her.

I guess if it's a resounding disappointment I always have my leggings to fall back on. Hoping for some knee boots that don't look like wellies, plus a few new hairstyles.

Well, even something (IMO) underwhelming like Lowriders: Custom Classics still managed to come up with a few surprises, like high-heeled trainers, and those high-waisted pants/blouses/suspenders outfits, that at least were something different, and had nicer-than-average textures.

 

Optimistically, there'll be more than that 'so that's what happened to my mop...' hairdo coming to Bob Mulét tomorrow - frankly, if there's one nice new style in there, then this will be THE BEST FRIGGIN' UPDATE IN 12 MONTHS (and the 'Year of Hell' will finally be over - smh...), although I'm keeping expectations low, and may well have to keep with the nagging e-mails to R*... Beyond that, maybe the fishnets will come with some usable variations, maybe there'll be some tidy-looking shoes/boots with not-crappy textures, maybe some new t-shirt prints, and possibly some hidden event clothes, plus hopefully hints at new stuff coming for Halloween.


...I dunno - might well wake up and find that this is (for me, at least) a non-update, bit like Lowriders 2, where almost nothing in the update was of any use, and so might as well not have happened (all those bikes, and all the MC stuff, too - not my bag, personally). But eh, after 3 months, any update means a better chance of something new than 'no update at all', so roll on tomorrow, and let's see if R* delivers...
