Dear r* (regarding overall female clothing choices)

Knew the clothing was trash this time. Ok where is the fashion update? If the stunt ppl got a update why can't we

And the clothing are overpriced as f*ck

So you buy more Shark Cards.
I have everything I want in GTAO and never bought a single shark card. Stop saying that. Some of us are smart enough to take advantage of double cash events and not spend our money without doing research first.

Same here. Prices of stuff in game has nothing to do with the shark cards. Has everything to do with heists getting released back in March 2015

I guess you missed the  Emoticon... :p

Well it would be nice if they actually just gave some basic street clothes like new denim jeans/jackets etc

I find it incredibly sad that we have so much clothes in game yet my characters still wear the same 10 outfits I saved back at the

Executives and Other Criminals update (when the bug started with legit outfits randomly being deleted).

I do like the new racing gear and cycle gear but there not really something that can be worn outwith races and as stated they are

overpriced.

Maybe we need to start thinking a different way to get their attention like an officially Miss/Mr Los Santos Fashion Week where the

DLC content is all new clothes with a contest for the best dressed GTA Online character.

I'm baffled as to how people think shark cards are the reason as to why the in-game prices have gone up.

More and more ways to effectively earn money + low prices = everyone buys everything quickly and complains about being bored and having everything.

More and more way to effectively earn money + high prices = more things to work towards, and keeps you playing a little longer, yet people still complain?

R* simply can't win, no matter what they do.

Yes! In all the previous GTA titles players complained that they a ton of money and nothing to spend it on. R* fixed that with GTA V. Plenty of stuff to spend money on!

I've been here for a while and never.. ever... EVER seen people complain about having everything.. They complain about jacked up prices due to cash cards, not being able to buy what they want.. And then having to deal with sh*tty connection issues, grinding GTA money OR just cash cards.

Grinding money to buy some sh*t is not what keeps me playing longer in GTA. Never was.. never.. will be.

R* is making a fortune of basic mods.. And the player base keeps gobbeling it all up.

Baffled as to how people think cash cards are the reason the in game prices have gone up? How are you baffled? Have you seen R*/Take Twos earning for GTA O?

And hows that single player DLC?

Let's please not turn this thread into a debate on whether Rockstar's evil or good, or how people can't complain.

This is about clothes. The vibes should be kept about clothes.

The arguments can go in the next dlc thread lol.

I like the Racing jackets, but they're too bulky. It's like the female variant was an afterthought.

Wow, can I not quote someone back without a mod deleting my message?

Anyways, I've been here a long time too, what's your point? People have actually been complaining about that way back when GTAIV was the big dog.

Still I don't see how shark cards are the reason why people are complaining, as it's only since the Heists update have I seen the prices go up, and I hadn't seen much complaining back in 2013. But guess what the ability to play Heists gave us? Easy money.

If they can't buy what they want, then that's either down to them not wanting to put any effort into making any money, or not realizing that that's what shark cards are there for, a quick and easy way to get some money if you don't have or want to put in the time. If they don't want to do either, then that's their own fault.

And yes, I am baffled, cause I honestly don't believe shark cards are the reason for it. And I'm not really concerned about what R*/T2 make, honestly, they're a business and making money is what they set out to do. It doesn't bother or effect me at all. Not really fussed over SP DLC either, tbh.

Staff are removing these posts because petitioning Rockstar to add more female clothing choices has nothing to do with shark cards or conspiracies about money or people's rights to complain, posts like these are only continuing the conversation that people don't want to have because it's getting a little hostile for a topic about virtual fashion. Please, just move on, or better yet open up a debate in a dedicated topic.

Cheers.

Back on topic, I'd recommend that Quinn_flower puts Rockstar's email address in the OP:

[email protected]

I'm hardly the go-to authority on whether that's a good idea or not, but it couldn't hurt.

Just look at all the views this thread has had - its got to be over 40,000 now. If just a small fraction of that 40,000 emailed Rockstar, then there'd be hundreds (if not thousands) of emails coming in.

Probably a lot of people don't even know you can email suggestions to Rockstar.

I really hope Rockstar came across this thread if they browse the forums. As icantthinkofonew said, it's got quite some reception. I have already sent them an email regarding clothing and accessories and have linked them to this thread. Whether they read it or not is completely unknown!

If I were to make a different thread about something else (I have something in mind), and that thread "sponsored" (lol) this one by having a link to it, well would that be allowed or would it be considered off topic?

I mean I'm thinking, it'd bring in more views for this, etc.

True. How much clothing items do we have anyway? Edited by TheGamingPr025

The thing that gets me about the female clothing is that it is so obviously just the male versions slightly modified to 'fit' the female frame. In the base game, this wasn't a problem. There were male and female variants of a clothing type (hoodie, for example). They were made to fit the appropriate gender.

Now, and especially with these last few Updates, it seems like Rockstar creates the male variant of an item, gives it a little room for boobs, and calls it a female item. The sweater vests are the best (or worst) example of this. The racing jackets, too. The list goes on. A lot of items are so bulky and awkward on the female body that they're unwearable for me. :/

I made a male character today for an Editor project I'm working on, and it's amazing just how much better the male clothing fits. I guess a good start for this war for female clothing would be to have Rockstar go back to focusing on creating two DISTINCTLY different variants of their new items, one male and one female.

I personally think female clothing are the best of the two sexes. They are more stylish and there are a lot of combos you can do to make the characters stand out.

Only thing I agree with people are the clothing items. The items they give to both male and female sort of sucks since the fit on the female character is horrible. I was expecting something more form fitting for the females.

At the same time, something like the work jacket on the female character is sort of cool just like the baggy pants on them. You can really make a female character look more tomboy-ish.

They just need to fix the accessories because you can't wear a bracelet, chain and earrings at the same time.

True. How much clothing items do we have anyway?Enough. Though of course more clothes are always welcome :p The problem is lack of combination possibilities. Rockstar can add as many clothes as they like, but bot being able to match things is very frustrating.

I will say though, when Finance and Felony was released, loads of new possible combinations came along too which was nice. However combinations such as stockings underneathe skirts or leggings/tight fit suit pants with knee high boots are so easy to do yet they still aren't there.

At least give us some handbags at Ammunation so we can use them as weapons too. You can hit other players with it.

How about a copy and paste email with a link to this thread for those that are willing to email just not write one? Maybe with a spot for the sender to add their RSC username.

My eyes bleed at the lack of layering available. Stockings should be an accessory, not pants by themselves. The skirt selection looks like it was designed in 2002. The jacket cut, color selection, and layering ability makes it surprisingly difficult to create something aesthetically pleasing. The hideous colors available for jeans are a waste of memory, as are all the baggy chinos and jeans. Scarves, necklaces, chains, and even ties should be more widely compatible with tops too. It's almost as if the neckbeards responsible for creating these clothes had no interest in studying women's current style before loading the game full of this unsavory nonsense.

I'm amazed that, even now, in 2016, with all the graphical advantages of current-gen machines, and with old-gen no longer being supported, R* is still putting out stuff with low-resolution 'somebody clearly saved the file as a .jpg' prints and textures.

The racing suits are mostly nice, but my goodness, the new jackets look rough. Same problem with things like the Lowriders baseball tees. And it's a bit pathetic to see, considering that there are graphic-print items in the I'm Not A Hipster stuff that looked really sharp and crisp as far back as 2014, on old-gen, original-release GTAO.

It's almost like character customisation is the lowest priority for R* - which is ...nonsensical, considering that 1. everyone has a character, and 2. R* likes to cultivate a community around creative stuff in Snapmatic and the Rockstar Editor. How about maybe throwing those (us!) folks a bone, and adding things that look good at close-distance, eh? :p

(and yeah, I reckon it's probably most productive to e-mail R*'s feedback address with wishlists and suggestions. After all, they've started telling people to do just that - figure it's worth taking them up on that...)

PC player here and I thought it was my computer because my racing suits look good but my jackets are pixelated.

When i watch YT videos of others, their jackets are crisp and clean on console.

The jackets are very nice and I think they are going for the old school silk and satin look of yesteryear's jacket but too bad it looks horrible.

Yeah, the biker suit would be a poor substitute for the kind of catsuit I want too - I want to go Katy Perry on Los Santos!

Thing is, I looked at a video of the new stuff, and everything looks great when scaled-down - but blow the video up to full-screen, and even at 1080p, it's shocking how blurry and indistinct those textures are...

I dunno if I posted this here but

yeah some clothes are good some are meh but some are male clothes that can be worn by females and this is just one store as trying to find a video to showcase clothes from other stores as well.

Not surprised why ugly racing suits in GTAO are overpriced as hell like Los Santos became a city of poverty with high fashion for GTAO players are very limited
