Dear r* (regarding overall female clothing choices)

Ok I'm done arguing with u this is a aaa game with reputable game company that is widely known. There another game that is not big as r* but their customization options makes r*'s a joke...

with a name like r* you kinda expect this

As to the person who said a rbg Selector on clothing there u go.

oh hey look nail polish and tights with out clipping.....(look u can make a tattoo as a tights) wow

oh im happy its free dlc its just the content in clothing wise in the female department has been lackluster.

also this layering limit needs to end. we arent on last gen anymore its 2016 we shouldnt have restrictions on pc and current gen.

i love gta online its just these restrictions are annoying in clothing wise and lack luster. watch next update is more clothing thats is the same for men but with a female twist.

Making an update with lots of clothes and customization would be great - it would be something different from the same old tired updates we've been getting.

Great, sure...realistic? Not at all.

Look at every game that has the level of character customization people in this thread and the entire forums seem to want for their specific areas. Do you honestly expect R* to give you Sims-level editing, NFS/Forza driving, premium 128-tick servers, Gary's Mod level of sandboxing...all for free? pretty much 3-4 AAA titles' worth of features of free via updates.

Yeah, not happening. This is a jack-of-all-trades. Not a master of them.

APB has a level of customization most people here seem to want... that game is riddled with microtransactions for every bit of clothing. It's either that or a subscription model. These wishlists would never be made for free. Not to the extent people want. That's my gripe with these "We want ___" threads; they tend to be unrealistic in practice.

E: Ha! Knew OP would mention APB. IF you expect R* to make for free what RTW charges for...good luck with that.

Also, You do realize that UE3 and RAGE are completely different in terms of allowing in-game model-morphing? There's a reason we no RAGE gta has the ability to modify your body type.

She's not asking for anything crazy - just to bring the female clothing options more in line with the amount males get.

Both genders need more clothing options imo. Why can't I wear a turtleneck without being a bodyguard??

Everyone has stuff they want.

I don't even have a female character, but it's easy for me to see why those who do (and those who are actually women) want this.

If I can go on about some old helicopter, then she can ask for clothes. Go to the future dlc thread and you'll see people asking for specific cars. What's the harm in wanting stuff?

Don't like it, don't click on it. Ignore and move on. You're only antagonizing.

Sound logic.

How would I know I don't like it if I haven't clicked on it?

"Ignore"? So...basically I'm not allowed to say my piece?

I'm not antagonizing anyone, I'm simply explaining why this is not probable.

Why don't you follow your own advice then? Lead with an example.

It's not necessarily probable, but it's definitely possible. If something's possible, people can dream of it/ask for it.

This is the only game I can think of where the NPCs have better detail than the player characters. Long hair, Clothing creasing textures when they walk, cloth physics, breast physics, better looking clothes etc

I agree the clothing looks like it was designed by a 35 year old man stuck in 2009...Sequin skirts? Bleached jeans? Really? It shouldn't be that hard for them to go to Forever21com or something and take a few glimpses before giving us these sad excuses for clothing and don't even get me started on the mom haircuts. But i think one of the problems is how female bodies are designed in the game, the boobs are placed at the upper stomach and a croptop would look weird, overall the bodies are just too stretched out and lanky to be realistic. Not to mention being already 6 feet tall shoeless, with heels we look like Rupaul clones. Gta 4 online got it right so wtf happened here?

you know what then i would happily pay a $15 sub if we can get apb style of stuff i would be happy if i got that and im sure others will agree. as long the content is good in customization by all means take my money.

Completely agree with op, hell the selection isn't terrible atm (but still leaves much to be desired), but the inability to combine different items is frustrating.

There are some issues with males as well, particularly with trying to wear suits w/o a tie and npc clothes being better (like the polo shirts that Madrazo's men wear).

You said your piece, and it was countered then you started belittling.

Please tell me where so I can reply. All I saw were strawmen.

That's great (no sarcasm), but the problem is

a) most wouldn't (the same way most wouldn't pay for car mods/weapon mods/etc) and then what happens between the haves and the have-nots? It would divide the playerbase even more & it seems that R*'s plans are quite opposite of dividing.

b) it goes against R*'s current model, which are shark cards.

Again, I agree that it would be nice to have these things... but it is simply not probable for technical & financial reasons.

As for point A as you stated

You could put the customization level into bare bones for the person that doesn't want to pay or sub still can do somethings but not all . Or premium for those who want to take it a step further.

It's not really dividing at that point it's offering those who want a deeper system can use it's optional and doesn't effect gameplay. Kinda like elder scrolls does its sub thing.

This is it. There's a lot of good things but then something silly stops it. Can't wear some wrist wear and ear rings is a good example. They in no way contact with each other.

What would make me happy is tights that could be worn with knee high boots and skirts, and possibly the demin shorts. That isn't a lot surely?

Girl, melee deathmatch and heels make up life. Nothing like enjoying seeing your character kick someone with a heel.

I agree though with most of the comments. I personally believe that the clothes on GTA V are outdated. And considering GTA V takes after Los Angeles, you would expect clothes and hair to be extremely fashionable.

These little things you don't appreciate being created, can bring excitement and happiness to another and even bring their character to life.

I never leave my house without some form of a handbag, and I want my character to be the same. I want her to dress like me, but I currently feel restricted as of what I wear because the clothes are not like me. Most of the clothes take after each other and show no variety, like all the bikinis are the same in different colours. Why can't we have different style bikinis? Different style crop tops? High waisted jeans? We need variety and not to feel restricted in how we express our character.

Girl, preach

I can't dress my character like how I go out to the shopping district over here. With thigh highs and tights and a jimmy choo bag

Also R* should stopp removing clothing combinations which were possible without glitches, like the and peacoats and off shoulder tops.

Try wearing bikini bottoms with any of the new t-shirts we got. They removed that ability too...

I don't use female characters, but most of the outfits I see being used by others look horrible.

However, I've seen people asking and complaining for this since the game was released back in 20013.

It's very unlikely R* will do anything like this.

They might release new clothing items that'll work how you want, but it's unlikely they'll change the existing clothing.
