Kind of unrelated to the task at hand, but I would like a few more horror masks. Preferably something like Slipknot's masks.

Before anything, using the word "Tranny" is so derogatory and dehumanizing. It is 2016 after all. Saying "You look like a Tranny!" is wrong to say for starters as regardless if you are actually transgender you don't have a specific look which marks you as something. In our modern day society, this slur just drags a person down.

In my personal opinion, I think you shouldn't use this word because it isn't respectful to people.

Nails are a good weapon when slapping and punching people and leaving a mark therefore people will start to acknowledge you killed them. Expensive dresses look good when going to rob places or using you as a distraction because you look more innocent. Hence the Vangelico Job and how Michael went in to there with a suit. He scoped out the area in a suit and looked innocent. As for long hair, well. It just looks good.

Anyway who says that you have to look boring while being a criminal? That just gives you away. Fitting in with crowd doesn't get you recognised as much. Just because you may jack cars doesn't mean you can't wear a specific item of clothing. Long hair doesn't get in the way either. With long hair there is more options to do and you can put your hair out your face with pins or clips or anything that does the job. With short hair it may be possible as well.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For the thread, does anyone else think the off shoulder tops are...ugly? Is it only me? I feel as if would be better if it was off both shoulders and not just one.

It is deragotory esecially when directing at someone, but he/she was just quoting the game, what the NPC say. No need to lose sleep over it just a forum...

Btw I wished the off shoulders had both shoulders showing to. I also wish they had an option where you can select the item you want to purchase and have a color wheel pop up and you can choose primary/secondary color or choose stripes, polka, plaid, or tie die, and be able to color them.

Yeah - even in the context of the game, it's pretty bigoted, same as 'Post-Op: More than just Mail' on trucks/billboards. Thing is, there's no joke there, other than 'hurr durr, let's point and laugh at trans people'. And yeah, GTA mocks most things, but normally by playing up the inherent absurdity of things (that's what parody is). In the cases of the trans-related 'humour', though, the thing being mocked is just ...being trans (like that's something laughable in and of itself), and in any other context, that'd be rightly seen as f*cked up.

But for some people, because GTA also has a spoof of stuff like American Idol or Facebook in there, 'it's all equally-mocking about everything!', and thus no harm done, apparently... :rol::facedesk:

The VIP outfits looked badass as hell. The El Jefe one was my favorite.

Rockstar should start adding more casual RL female stuff and more masculine stuff to the female wardrobe.

I'm getting pretty tired of scrolling through the menus trying to find something that embellishes the protaganist as realistic, and/or cool, yet finding slutty stuff that doesn't really appear well on the body model Rockstar added.

I'd also like the shirts with T - Shirts underneath like Franklin and the Online Male Character has. I've seen plenty of chicks in real life wear that and I think that'd look sweet on the Online Chick.

Seriously, why the heck would I want nail polish, when I'm just gonna break them nails anyway, when I go to punch your face in and rip your expensive dress off to go sell it? just cause... I'm a CRIMINAL... and CAR THIEF... and, I don't care about looking fancy, having nail polish... or long hair that just gets in the way, etc...

You can't rip off dresses. You can't break nails. Hair won't get in your way because we don't have hair physics.

You sound like some nutcase who imagines things ingame.

It's 2016 and you have yet add knee high boots with real black leggings not that crap u gave us.

Went to log on today and saw my knee high outfit was patched.....smh. Like seriously maybe now based on how many females used this glitch just to get knee high on leggings and boots you would add this with out glitching which should of been at launch!

I mean do u have a female working on the art design of the clothing for online? If not you need to go to a fashion show because clearly u do not know fashion.

Why do I have to use a mod menu or glitch to make a outfit that I see the npc's wearing already!

God your so incompetent I mean what was wrong with wearing knee high leggings? Seriously if it has clipping issues then get off your butts and fix it. While we are add it add proper black leggings call them dark black leggings idk the vip ones were perfect and made my outfit look cute.

Seriously the clothing that's been coming out as for late isn't really for females it's more geared for guys making their toon look like dude.

Ask any female gamer and they will tell what needs to be improved on our side...

Idk this is bitch and moan but many of us have been waiting for proper layering and actual female clothing that some of us uses.

Why can't I wear leather straps with a necklace unless it's the gold cuffs. Why can't I wear boots with jeans? Why no long hair or nail polish r*. Stop making the game geared more to males seriously. There are a lot of gamers who are female and you need to stop ignoring us.

Valentine's Day update yay underwear and stockings ok that's fine now next update is more clothes that look like its for guys. -_-

Go to fashion school or look on Pinterest steal a few ideas idc how u do it but seriously the female clothing need to be overhaul ASAP.

Also FYI r* reads these threads

She would stand out like a sore thumb. I try to dress my character like a typical girl trying to make it big in hollywood who noone would suspect as being a criminal. Exactly. Some people choose to run around shirtless and wearing a monkey mask, and that's allowed. And I've never seen anyone rob a bank while wearing a dunce hat.

Don't even get me started on the unrealistic VIP system.

So a criminal can protect another criminal, on a yacht funded by money earned through criminal work, and kill other criminals and still the SecuroServ thing tells us to abide by our VIP first and the Law Second?

Also, buying explosives in a gun store and killing people in our underwear with a minigun?

What is so unrealistic about a few clothing options when you have all this unrealistic stuff that nobody complains about?

I agree - they're okay and I wear my black one a lot but personally a lot of what's on offer is of limited appeal because of the logos attached to them. Plain ones (or subtle patterns) in a variety of colours would also be nice - not garish bright colours that go with no other items of clothing and look like the texture has been flood-filled in MS Paint.

Yeah - even in the context of the game, it's pretty bigoted, same as 'Post-Op: More than just Mail' on trucks/billboards. They are okay and give, at least me, an option to wear anything else than the really low cut tshirts and shirts with thugster written all over it, they also work kinda well with blazers.

Preach.... oh my gosh. I don't know why its common place to run around in pitch black army gear, an early 2000's cholo gangster or vintage clothing that no one in our generation currently wears. I dont know about you guys, but customization is the #1 priority for me when it comes to gaming, and GTA doesn't offer much of a base for that, the majority of the items are impractical considering the setting of the game...hopefully they have something down the tube. A mega clothing update is truly needed, that's all I can say.

Why cant you just walk down the street in waist high shorts, some converses a striped sweater and a backpack compared to what I see on other players is a mystery to me.

I don't often wear the sweatpants/joggers for females because they are roll ups and look a mess. I would probably wear them if they were normal length.

The roll ups ruin it for me otherwise I would genuinely wear them. Sweatpants are life, comfortable and stylish (if they are the right style). If they were to add some in GTA V Online, they could have different patters like camouflage and plain colours. This definitely fits the casual and sports bracket.

I was making a new outfit and while I was quickly switching between the shorts the texture from the denim ones went onto the others for a second. I managed to screenie it cause of ps4, there might be a possible glitch here. Anyways it looks really good imo.

VIP and bodyguard outfits should be purchasable in stores and that will increase the variety of clothes in the game as some of them are really good.

Oh my... :inlove:

Yes. Just yes. I like the denim shorts, but sometimes I wish I could get their textures on the shorter cut style. It'd be so easy, just a simple re-texturing.

Also, on the topic of sweatpants, I sometimes use the striped suit pants to emulate sweats, although I'd MUCH rather have actual slim fit joggers with elastic strings to give it that athletic look.

Another thing that really bothers me is the lack of decent tank-tops/sleeveless shirts. The lack of variety really turns me off to wearing them. Where's the basic, non-cropped, white tank? Spaghetti straps? :dozing:

Honestly, I'm still waiting for an Update that is purely focused on character-related content (clothes, hair, makeup, etc.). It's bound to happen, eventually. Fingers crossed for sooner than later.

Glad Miss Los Santos 2014 voiced out the problem regarding the lack of variety on clothing... We don't even get modern lingerie but instead we get 20s ones which is bad as we don't even have the modern ones.

I know none of these ideas are original or new, but I tried to pick a few that are realistic and do-able. Also, it's hard to imagine some clothing items on the GTAO female figure, so it's important to understand that when thinking about what you'd like in the game. I put together some things. I used clothing items available in the Sims 4, just to keep things game-like. Here we go:

Dresses. When R* first released the babydoll dresses in the Hipster Update, I genuinely believed that they would keep expanding upon that idea and keep adding in more. But, so far, we've gotten really nothing (aside from V-Day flappers, which only go so far). I'd like to see more casual, every-day dresses that appeal more to modern fashion and don't hang down past the knees.

Mini-dresses are basically a must. True, some bustier/skirt combos can create a mimic mini-dress, but it's pretty limited. It'd be extremely easy for R* to piece the bustier and skirt pieces together, add some nice touches, and make it available as a one-piece outfit. The only problem here is that I (personally) find that a lot of empty chest space ends up only accenting the female's low hanging bust. I usually counter this with a necklace or a scarf, so it's not that big of a deal.

yx62R7R.jpg

I'd also like to see dresses with straps, like the one below. As you can see, the dress flares out slightly along the hems, so it's almost more 'innocent'. I also wouldn't mind having this kind of denim fabric in the game.

4rrnHqW.jpg

As much as the female clothing is lacking, I find a real lack in the variety of tops. The current selection leaves SO much to be desired. Yes, I do love quirky little T-shirts every now and then, but there are things that this game could really use.

Lowriders Part 1 brought the first decent long-sleeve tops into GTAO with the baseball tees. I'd really like to see more of these in different variations (textures and style). Perhaps un-tucked and a little more form-fitting?

Px7PBZp.jpg

Someone here pointed out that the off-shoulder section of the tops could add a lot more, and I AGREE. I think that the Off Shoulder section has a lot of potential for tops that I would wear all the time. Here's a design that isn't exactly 'off shoulder', but it does expose some skin, which I like.

ZNF7CnL.jpg

Also, I think that a flannel top like this could almost work like a 'jacket' and be worn over other things. Or (@wanes) be glitched to be worn with no undershirt.

3HALtu4.jpg

Females in GTAO actually have a nice set of legs. R* could definitely work with this and give us more shirts/pants/skirts.

High-waisted shorts. 'nuff said.

I wish I could get a hairstyle likethis for my character, or other shoulder length cuts since for some reason, longer hair cant be imported into the game....What's up with that? In games in general, excluding saints row, most of the girls have neck length cuts...its weird. XD

Can't believe they patched the VIP outfits again, aside of all the other issues with clothing I also find it annoying that the females don't have cowboy boots as an option.
