Went to log on today and saw my knee high outfit was patched.....smh. Like seriously maybe now based on how many females used this glitch just to get knee high on leggings and boots you would add this with out glitching which should of been at launch!

Before anything, using the word "Tranny" is so derogatory and dehumanizing. It is 2016 after all. Saying "You look like a Tranny!" is wrong to say for starters as regardless if you are actually transgender you don't have a specific look which marks you as something. In our modern day society, this slur just drags a person down.

 

In my personal opinion, I think you shouldn't use this word because it isn't respectful to people.

 

Nails are a good weapon when slapping and punching people and leaving a mark therefore people will start to acknowledge you killed them. Expensive dresses look good when going to rob places or using you as a distraction because you look more innocent. Hence the Vangelico Job and how Michael went in to there with a suit. He scoped out the area in a suit and looked innocent. As for long hair, well. It just looks good.

 

Anyway who says that you have to look boring while being a criminal? That just gives you away. Fitting in with crowd doesn't get you recognised as much. Just because you may jack cars doesn't mean you can't wear a specific item of clothing. Long hair doesn't get in the way either. With long hair there is more options to do and you can put your hair out your face with pins or clips or anything that does the job. With short hair it may be possible as well.

It is deragotory esecially when directing at someone, but he/she was just quoting the game, what the NPC say. No need to lose sleep over it just a forum...

 

Btw I wished the off shoulders had both shoulders showing to. I also wish they had an option where you can select the item you want to purchase and have a color wheel pop up and you can choose primary/secondary color or choose stripes, polka, plaid, or tie die, and be able to color them.

In the cases of the trans-related 'humour', though, the thing being mocked is just ...being trans (like that's something laughable in and of itself), and in any other context, that'd be rightly seen as f*cked up.

 

But for some people, because GTA also has a spoof of stuff like American Idol or Facebook in there, 'it's all equally-mocking about everything!', and thus no harm done, apparently...

Rockstar should start adding more casual RL female stuff and more masculine stuff to the female wardrobe.

 

I'm getting pretty tired of scrolling through the menus trying to find something that embellishes the protaganist as realistic, and/or cool, yet finding slutty stuff that doesn't really appear well on the body model Rockstar added.

 

I'd also like the shirts with T - Shirts underneath like Franklin and the Online Male Character has. I've seen plenty of chicks in real life wear that and I think that'd look sweet on the Online Chick.

Exactly. Some people choose to run around shirtless and wearing a monkey mask, and that's allowed. And I've never seen anyone rob a bank while wearing a dunce hat.

I agree - they're okay and I wear my black one a lot but personally a lot of what's on offer is of limited appeal because of the logos attached to them. Plain ones (or subtle patterns) in a variety of colours would also be nice - not garish bright colours that go with no other items of clothing and look like the texture has been flood-filled in MS Paint.

For the thread, does anyone else think the off shoulder tops are...ugly? Is it only me? I feel as if would be better if it was off both shoulders and not just one.

They are okay and give, at least me, an option to wear anything else than the really low cut tshirts and shirts with thugster written all over it, they also work kinda well with blazers.

Ever heard of a disguise? How is a criminal supposed to keep a low profile looking like this?

 

 

She would stand out like a sore thumb. I try to dress my character like a typical girl trying to make it big in hollywood who noone would suspect as being a criminal. Heels are impractical in the situations our characters get themselves in but this is a game afterall, a game where citizens can buy a freaking armed fighting jet or armed tank, cars are repaired at the blink of an eye, characters take multiple bullets, I could go on till tomorrow listing all the unrealistic things GTA V has.

 

 

 

Preach.... oh my gosh. I don't know why its common place to run around in pitch black army gear, an early 2000's cholo gangster or vintage clothing that no one in our generation currently wears. I dont know about you guys, but customization is the #1 priority for me when it comes to gaming, and GTA doesn't offer much of a base for that, the majority of the items are impractical considering the setting of the game...hopefully they have something down the tube. A mega clothing update is truly needed, that's all I can say.

 

Why cant you just walk down the street in waist high shorts, some converses a striped sweater and a backpack compared to what I see on other players is a mystery to me.
