Dear r* (regarding overall female clothing choices)

I'm talking about male fashion here, but female fashion deserves the same treatment.

 

We can't have subtle clothes, it ALWAYS has to be outdated or soon-to-be-outdated flashy flamboyant clothes.

 

What happened to straight fit suits and denim jackets or even clothes inspired by Trevor's shirts and Franklin's sweaters?

 

I don't want them to copypaste SP clothes like they did for this update, I want something new and subtle for urban wear in some kind of LSC DLC, no more Benny because he's a money grabbing asshole.

Why female characters can't get modern lingerie like they did with the valentines DLC but its 20s style so no justification not to include modern ones..

 

I just recently looked at some clothing stores in real life and they are actually superior than what we have in GTA and now the summer months are close then bikinis appear on stores already and they are superior in variety of styles instead of just lazily change colors and add new prints but its the same style..

 

Not gonna forget about nice coats and turtlenecks as well we can only get good stuff through glitching such as cop uniforms and VIP/Bodyguard outfits

I'm dying for a regular, modern DLC with modern clothing normal people would wear. Comparing to NPCs on the street, our characters look like rejects than normal people.

 

Instead of actual skinny jeans, we get skinny jeans with holes in them, or zippers. Instead of actual leggings we get . . .

The more I read this thread in depth, the more annoyed I get at how blatant and obvious our clothing should be, yet everything we seem to get so so flamboyant. Why can't we wear boots with jeans, and why do the current boots we have not look like boots at all. Why the heck do we have 50's housewife dresses not slim fit 21st century ones.

 

why cant we wear stockings with skirts, have proper beards or longer hair? When I customize my characters, Its always a chore to mix and match, because nothing ever looks great, but only okay. I dont know, the customization is extremely sloppy. Everything people wear in the 2010's should be in the game, that's how bad it is. everything that we wear everyday should be in the game, but for some reason it isn't. Hopefully the next GTA will learn from the mistakes of this ones.

 

Normal everyday people, regardless if they're criminals or not, dont run around in pigs masks and shorts and nothing else.

 

 

Too long, didn't read?: There's no excuse for not having a mass amount of normal average clothing. It shouldn't be a chore to look good.

Saints row got it right where we can mix and match clothes like you can combine skirts or shorts with stockings. I wonder who the hell is behind the clothing ideas in R* where they should get a fashion expert and allow us to change colors of our clothes like SR instead of copy paste the same clothes with different colors and make people think clothes are abundant. Even SR had option to have tucked in, out, open button,etc

 

The proper basic clothing should be in this game as even criminals have to wear normal clothes not to look obvious

You know what is nice to have, the ability to wear some form of small shorts underneath skirts where they can not be seen when standing UP, but when taking cover or sitting down it covers the genitalia, so I don't have to awkwardly stare at my girls red or purple thong.

I like how this thread got to be the size it is now without being 90% bickering, pointless arguments, and lame trolls.

 

Meanwhile there's a thread about people taking the easy way out that has 25 pages of generic b*tching, insults, and virtual penis measuring contests. Most my threads also end up being at least a quarter BS and petty arguing.

 

I hardly ever argue with anyone on this thread (which is rare for these forums), so yeah - you lot definitely deserve your turn of getting a dlc that's geared towards you. This has got to be the most civilized thread on the forums.

I have attempted to create one, and I managed a near look of a jumpsuit.

 

Wear the black bustier. (Normal, none of the Valentines released bustiers.) Then pair it with the black leggings. It does create a slight look of a jumpsuit. I currently don't have a photo but I will gladly get one soon.

 

They go well with nude heels, black heels and light coloured heels as well. I have worn them with white canvas shoes before as well.

Sorta relevant - recently saw the teaser for AOA's new single, and it's got ...pretty much everything I want from GTAO in it:

My character's male too, but I still think they should add all this.

 

There's got to be plenty of women who play GTA. There are quite a few on this thread - if this many women are into the game enough to join a forum about it, then surely there's got to be demand for this stuff when looking at the bigger picture.

I would personally really love a pair of decent cargo pants with a belt. And a decent leather jacket. The black one in the base game of GTAO is good, but it's cut a bit short for my tastes.

I'm quite fond of sort of the getup Karen uses in the Key Cards setup in the Humane Labs heist. Sadly neither are available. The cargo pants added in Lowriders is good alternative, but it's missing a decent belt.

 

The base cargo pants in the game are cut short by the ankles, which looks silly. Then there's the ones added by the LTS update, the Team Pants. Not only does your arse look absolutely massive, they're also tuck into the boots. You're unable to change the footwear of those pants too, outside the others that come with the same format.

 

As for boots, I wish for things like Timberlands or similar. I'm proper man-boot using kinda gal, so I personally would really like this. Aslong as they put the pants on the outside, rather than a tuck-in.

High Heels is fashionable, High Heel boots are also fashionable, I get this. I'd rather wear sneakers, skate shoes or converse stuff in honesty.

 

What bothers me the most is one of the bodyguard outfits available has a perfect set of beige cargo pants with a belt where the model is excellent and fits nicely. It's a bit too baggy, but nothing I couldn't live with.

I can't buy this in a store and requires me to be a bodyguard to use for a limited time.

I would dig some turtlenecks, the ones on the VIP outfits Rockstar will seemingly never sell are nice.

 

All those dresses look great btw, I'd pay 100k+ for each in an instant, even if they looked exactly like those pictures. So many great ideas in here, one can only hope Rockstar will act on any of it.

 

They f*cked up so badly with the female character model, the least they could do is hire a woman or two to design clothes to make em look good.
