I compiled a little showcase of the dress variations.

Was too long to fit to a gfycat link so youtube was gonna have to do.

I even numbered them accordingly to make it easier to find them.
Hope you don't get vertigo from the camera spinning around constantly.

OMG, how do you have that red nail polish?

i have her wearing what i wear irl. Cropped Denim jacket graphic tee and boots

Same here - I practically live in my denim jacket (though mine is more of a classic denim blue rather than two-tone/distressed), plain tshirts, leggings (:inlove:) and flats:

96nhEIm.jpg

Recently I've managed to get the same outfit on my XBox Avatar and in Forza Horizon 4 too  I must either be a trendsetter or totally safe and boring with my choice of style - don't worry, I know which of the two it's more likely to be.

Also since visiting the pool and hot tubs in the Casino I wish we had some one-piece swimsuits to wear as well as those itsy bitsy, teeny weeny yellow polka-dot bikinis because even in GTAO I feel conscious showing off that much skin :D

Plain ones, sport-style ones or maybe something a bit more wild in the style of those really shiny Realise swimsuits they never do in my size would be fab... but not logo-plastered vomit-green or MSPaint blue GUFFY and BIGNESS ones

R*, I said NOT GUFFY and BIGNESS

NOT

This really cant be said enough, imo. I mean, if they arent going to design any  new clothing models then I would hope they at least reskin the original female sport tank tops and bikini bottoms to match them.

But i too would like some new swimwear like you describe. I'd also like some limbless, front-zip scuba suits...without Guffy of Bigness logos.

I didn't know that the casino clothes were on rotation - one of the few decent dress patterns from last week isn't available anymore, and I'm not all that impressed by the current selection. :/

It's a pretty scummy move overall, if you think about it - finally add a new dress style, but make each one cost five figures, in chips only, exclusive to the casino store (i.e., you'll have to visit the casino to purchase them - and since you'll have to get some chips to buy them, you're now invested in the casino system, and more likely to consider gambling to earn 'free' chips...).

And then, to really force players to consider gambling, make the clothing time-limited, so that people are more likely to impulse-buy things so as not to miss out (good ol' FOMO reactions kicking in again... :sigh:). After all, most regular players aren't going to the length of researching all the unreleased items with the update - they're just going to react to whatever they can see in front of them in-game, which is a limited selection.

Honestly, between this, the fact that most of the stuff is still the same old garbage, the fact that NPCs based on player character models get better stuff than what players can buy, that vehicle models are wildly inconsistent (with anything newer than 1989 almost always looking like garbage...), the way that new updates really don't do anything to add to the game other than 'moar Content™ to buy!', and a million other recurring problems, I ...I just want another company to have a crack at a GTAO-like game at this point...

I think its shocking how battle royales and fps shooters dominate the landscape whilst games like this are so rare and are often not as broad as this.

the dresses, y’all.... THE DRESSES. THEY ARE HIDEOUS. have you ever even seen any women today wearing anything like that??? they look especially terrible on the man-ish bodies we have to have 😒 that would be another nice thing, having a normal body, or allowing us to choose a body type?? something to consider 👀

Granted, GTA isn't the dominant influence on open-world games that it once was - sure, there's the occasional city-based open-world game with shooting and driving these days, but most open-world titles follow that Far Cry 3-influenced Ubisoft format (look at recent things like Days Gone and Spider-Man, for example).

But what's frustrating is that I think there's one thing that games publishers have taken from GTAO's runaway success: the 'live service' business model, complete with unlimited room for players to keep spending money on a game they already bought for $60 upfront. Nearest I can think of to GTAO's 'repurpose a traditional single-player game into an open-ended multiplayer one' overall design is ...Fallout 76 - and so much of that feels primarily about that sweet, sweet 'recurrent consumer spending'... :sui:

It's definitely baffling to think how really no-one is trying to come up with a proper GTAO competitor (other than R* themselves, with RDO!) - not only is the field still empty enough that there isn't a saturated market for such games, but there's so much stuff one could do, simply by looking at all the things GTAO doesn't. For one thing, you can avoid the issues that GTAO inherits from GTA V simply by designing the game as a multiplayer experience from the get-go - and for another really obvious one, a GTAO-like game that isn't hidebound to the GTA brand and tone is free to be a whole lot of things other than 'snarky parody ostensibly about crime'.

Yellow Dog with Cone

This thread sadly reminds me of why I never bothered to make a female character.

Like, it's annoying enough trying to make a decent outfit as a male character, trying to do the same with a female one, which has even more nonsensical restrictions for no logical reason whatsoever would literally drive me crazy.

You can dress as a hypebeast, a tacticool mall ninja, a Fortnite skin reject but can't dress like an actual human being or a cop, or a paramedic for that matter.

Where are the long hair for both genres? The long bears? Actual clothing physics? Nail polish? More tattoos, earrings, rings, piercings and jewelry? I don't want to steal Vangelico for the &th time, I want to be ablen to buy jewelry there.

For a sandbox, this game has several pointless restrictions.

I could understand the physics thing tho. Game can't even run stable now, imagine if everyone's joggers and dreads flapping in the wind while riding oppressors lol

Anyone else noticed that they didn't add matching bikini bottoms for the tops?

PS: love the update, but still pissed about those shorts.

just managed to find someone talking about this, after looking through this topic for a hour or more, i really was and still am annoyed by this too, like did someone forget bikinis have 2 parts. i doubt this is related at all because its just speculation from me, but maybe they only added bikini tops because of the topless/bra-less glitches and wanted more new looks/styles to try to encourage females to keep their stuff, covered up

but yeah, definitely wish they had added new bikini bottoms at least, regardless of it they matched the new tops, i would have been happy to know that nobody forgot the second piece of the swimsuit/bathing suit, (that in my opinion, (covers up females in the spot that truly makes them special, important and a female, not to say that the upper half of the female reproductive system isn't special or important, because it definitely still is)) and shouldn't really be seen by anyone except the female owner herself (of course i mean this for in game female characters, but also to any females in real life who agree with this statement

MEGA FEMALE CLOTHING GUIDE

(Moved topic from the place I originally posted it)

Small table of contents to make this easier and quicker to get the info you are looking for

Section 1 -------  General info regarding clothing and outfits

Section 2 -------  Store guide and Free Clothing (referring to free clothing that is free in stores and not part of free clothing from buying the criminal enterprise starter pack or free given to you by Rockstar for logging in to GTA online at a certain time)

Section 3 ------- Free clothing from the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack and received from Rockstar for logging in

Section 4 ------- General Clothing list, this is referring to all clothing in the listed categories, including DLC clothing in them up until, but not including the After Hours Update that introduced Nightclubs into Online (with my reason why to avoid them)

Section 5 ------- After Hours Update / Nightclubs DLC clothing and outfits (DLC released on July 24th, 2018)

Section 6 ------- Arena War Update clothing and outfits (DLC released mid December 2018)

Section 7 ------- The Lucky Wheel Clothing, located inside the Diamond Casino and Resort

Section 8 ------- The Casino store clothing (DLC released on July 23rd, 2019)

Section 9 ------- Casino clothing in the normal clothing stores + collectible hunt clothing rewards

Section 10 -------- Casino heist dlc clothing

Section 11 ------ Wrap up and anything I may have missed

Section 1

I know it certainly might seem as if this doesn't have anything to do with much of anything in the game, but there's some things that I feel should be noted when it comes to outfits and clothing, specifically for the females, one because that's what all my characters are and two, girls do seem to have a few more options as far as what to wear in game (at least it makes sense considering it is realistic to a degree when its compared to reality). With more colors, patterns or styles, ignoring the fact that so many clothing combinations and layering items doesn't work or make any sense at all

As of the doomsday heist, there are now 20 outfit slots, previously there was only 10. Just be glad that they added more, otherwise you would have more clothing in your closet, and fewer spots in which to wear them.

Section 2

I'd like to start by saying: " most of the free clothing you see, you need to stay away from". It will clutter up your "closet" and will only make you have to cycle through more later on when creating custom outfits from clothing you own. I highly recommend that you pick no more than 3 free items in a given category(depending on how many total free items may exist there). Now ideally, you probably wont like some of the free items available to you, so you shouldn't worry about them if you don't like them, it just makes sense to stay away from something if you don't particularly like it.  Just as some general info regarding clothing stores in game, Binco and the Discount store seem to be confusing as far as finding some pieces of clothing, I know this because when looking for hats for example, you might have to stand in front of what appears to be a shirt and pants hanging together. I advise always trying to visit either Suburban or Ponsonbys.

Here's a few things to know about each, if you're looking for something specific (only going to talk about the 3 main categories, in my opinion)

If you're looking for tops, go to Suburban, they have most racks of tops the moment you go in. If you are looking for pants, go to Ponsonbys, they have more of an even amount of racks to find pants, compared to Suburban where I have really only seen one rack for pants (and its not the easiest thing to get to inside of Suburban). Lastly is shoes, I prefer Ponsonbys for these as well since its much easier to spot where they are, and in my opinion, you don't seem to have to go as far to get them either, because you cant run in these stores, so I find it much quicker to get back out of Ponsonbys, vs Suburban.

Section 3

None of the previous things i said applies to any clothing unlocked or given to you by Rockstar, as its not only subjective, but also can be very random and there's really no point when you don't have control over that.  Here's another thing regardless of your character gender, Do Not Buy the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack unless you are just getting started and the pack itself is on sale, otherwise it's not worth it.

The clothing you get is kind of OK, but just because none of it is really good to begin with, i'd consider all clothing from it to be avoided at all costs. Yeah it may be free, but you pay real money for that to happen and these items can now clutter up your closet and clothing inventory.

Now I would not worry at all about any of the free clothing you get from Rockstar for logging in to GTA for whatever item you get as a reward, obviously you have no control in what it is, you can only control not getting it from just not playing the game, but it's never really that bad.  I know most of the time, most or all of those unlocks are not only t shirts and tops, but they will automatically be put into your outfit inventory with all other unlocks in probably one category, maybe there is more than one spot they go, but either way, it probably will not easily clutter up your clothing, since it is only a few items anyway.

Section 4

General list with all DLC clothing up until the After Hours Update, and all items in these categories in game that are there by default that should be avoided

Items in tops to avoid (why I think you should avoid them)

Fitted suit jackets (they are really not much different from the suit jackets and aren't necessary if you own any of the suit jackets)

Denim jackets (they are cool I will say that, but honestly they just don't look that great, and the Leather jackets are basically the same by design, less expensive and look cleaner too)

Biker jackets (the biker cuts are pretty much identical, cost less and give you better variety than the jackets, don't waste your time and money on the biker jackets, not to mention, some of the jackets are outfits for motorcycle club style, so just change the style and you can enjoy some of them, without the added price)

Racing jackets (they are great companion outfits for a car show theme that matches a car or brand, but aren't very special or cheap for the very small amount of time you will probably wear them for)

Work jackets (absolutely no point in wearing something like these, they don't look great and all they offer are logos and small details of brands in game that you can find on other clothing for less and that look better)

Leather bomber jackets (added I believe in the After Hours update; they are only different from the bomber jackets in that they are leather, and also pricier, while not offering anything different in terms of designs from its less expensive counterpart)

Sports jackets (unless you think spending money to rep sports teams in game that you'll never hear or see anything about, I wouldn't recommend wasting money on them)

Overcoats and Overcoat blazers (putting them together because they are very few differences, both aren't very worthwhile and they have little point or value to have, just a general waste of money)

Gunrunning, biker, tucked, and designer t-shirts (gunrunning and biker ones just add a few little extras to make them fit into their respective dlc categories, tucked and designer ones don't look great, aren't too colorful, and aren't worth the prices you pay for them)

Shirts, service and work shirts (pretty lame designs and not really something you are really ever going to wear, just stick with t-shirts instead, look better and for less too)

Hoodies and designer hoodies (they are cool, some of them and some let you put the hoods up or down in the interaction menu, but that's all you really get for the price, I think its worth passing on)

Racing jerseys (not too much different from the racing jacket counterpart, just a slightly more sporty look in my opinion, not worth the time or money)

Work sweaters and sports sweaters (take the very few little emblems and things from the work shirts and jackets and same with sports stuff, add it to a sweater and keep it around the same price, is it really something to invest in? I didn't think so)

Tucked and polo shirts (not very interesting and not much variety either, keep with the t shirts instead)

Vests and vest shirts (same general bland things as some other items on this list, not much variety, just skip these, you wont be missing much

Business shirts and suit vests (no variety, don't look great and there are some pre-made outfits in game that use these and cost less, but honestly why bother with any of it in the first place)

Before I move to the lower half of clothing, i'd just like to say that you should no longer buy any of the dresses that are at the normal clothing stores (unless you plan on doing the thong/camel-toe clothing glitch, which still can easily be done to my knowledge, you just have to time things right). The casino store added new dresses that look better (they still aren't amazing, but better than what we had before the update) and have much better color and pattern variety. Of course, as we'll discuss later, they technically can't be bought instantly with cash.

Now for pants, and thankfully there's not as many types so this list will be shorter

Cargo pants, suit pants and sports pants (there's nothing special about these except different names and designed for the category they are in, not much variety either)

Chinos, leather pants and overalls (really bad variety I think and they don't really look too good in general, if you really want leather pants I would say choose no more than 3, they do vary slightly in designs, some are ribbed and stuff so maybe one pair of the different styles and that's it, overalls? Who even wears them or likes how they look, not to mention they are pretty pointless and pricey)

When it comes to pants and bottoms for females, many of them are female specific (skirts, bikini bottoms, panties, leggings, stockings, shorts with fishnets, etc).  In my opinion, it's actually really good we have these because obviously females in real life wear them since our bodies are shaped differently and females have body parts that males do not. This (the crotch area, between a females legs, which is personally my favorite part of my body, followed by my face) is easily the most different, special and unique part of the female body that for the most part in real life makes men much less fit/ideal to wear these items (some men do wear these feminine items, maybe to put themselves in a girls body/shoes or maybe they find them more comfortable than their pants and underwear) and so logically, only females get these sexy and feminine additional clothing options in game (thank goodness).    Not saying avoid them, but do limit yourself for each of the categories because there is no way to get rid of them after buying them (at least if you want to keep everything you own in game), they are just additional clothing items we can spend our money on in game, that males just can't.

They may be items that we wear because we are females and our bodies allow us to wear them, but just like in real life, its an extra expense that comes with being a female and having the body parts and shape that we do, so sexiness, seduction, sex appeal, arousal, attraction, hotness or however else you may look at it, it comes at a price in reality and the same thing happens in game, with a few key differences. The first being you can't take off clothes until you are naked in game, in real life, you can take such items off and become naked (in theory), anywhere you want to, anytime you want) and the second being you can't get rid of them or get your money back if you don't want them, its possible in real life, but not at all in game, so be sexy and show skin in game all you want, just be careful before you buy, so you make your life easier later on.

Section 5

Many players were hoping that things would finally be better for female characters in game when we were told nightclubs were finally going to be in game, even with my expectations rather low for females, perfect opportunities to get some nice clothing on our girls bodies were missed.

Here's what I think you need to avoid from the After Hours clothing additions.

Tops (I say were, since the update came out over a year ago)

Work jackets, bomber jackets and leather bomber jackets (they might have been different and new, but they don't look unique enough to me compared to the ones before the update, which I think you should avoid these categories altogether)

Track jackets (not different enough when compared to the other track jackets, which I like, but only enough to buy 1 or 2)

Designer hoodies (they are better in my opinion, that the other designer hoodies, with some differences, but I have never been a fan of them in game to begin with)

Sweaters and sports sweaters (I liked they were unique versus previous options, the prices weren't awful, but they all looked to similar to each other in my opinion)

Leather jackets (I was a big fan of the new designs they had, but the prices felt too high from other jackets of similar style)

Tucked t shirts and designer t shirts (they were different and not expensive, I just personally don't like seeing my female character in black shorts, with a tucked in shirt, looks a bit too weird to me)

Pants

Sports pants (game also called them muscle pants, number 1 which name are they and 2 I don't think these pants look like something a female wears, and most certainly not for a nightclub outfit, these definitely should be avoided)

Half of the following item doesn't even exist in game, point is, they added sexy new little bikini tops and for some reason, they didn't include any new bikini bottoms to match them, so avoid the after hours bikini tops if you want to have matching bikini bottoms, because they don't exist.

Section 6

There are tons of clothing items and outfits added in the Arena War update and i'm going to tell you what you should avoid

Outfits (I talk about outfits here since 1, they are very unique and 2 very pricey)

Bodysuits (specifically named in the outfits section under the arena war category, the main reason to avoid them is the price, 100k or more each, second of all, as a female character, I noticed her boobs would be more pronounced, then i noticed that, her crotch (genital area, between her legs), was also very pronounced, but I can swear that when I was going through the color variations, I saw a small curved indent, with a slight color change that pin pointed her camel toe and (for lack of better words) genital lips/opening) and as much as I got turned on by seeing that, it also freaked me out that other people might notice it too, oh and did I mention her pretty face and hair were also in the bodysuit, so yeah, just the curves of a bald female figure are seen while wearing this, no thanks, i'll pass

Space creature, cyclops and horror suits (not a fan of the price, not a fan of looks, ugly and the opposite of what females look like, females are beautiful and sexy, these suits are everything girls aren't)

Retro spacesuits, astronaut suits and space traveler suits (they are cool, but very bulky and expensive, look more for males for the size and shape, don't think they are different for females, which means the only way to look decent as a female with them on, is to avoid them)

tops

Arena war tops, all variants (quite pricey and you'll wear them in the modes in the arena, not worth buying, just buy a t shirt or sweater and save the rest of your money on the other arena war stuff, like car upgrades)

pants

Arena war pants (the leather stitch pants are alright, but rather pricey, they are the only thing i'd consider buying from the pants category, all the rest are super expensive or just not cool)

shoes

Arena war shoes (the light up shoes from the nightclubs that npc's were seen wearing came out with these shoes, all i'll say is, those are the only shoes you should buy, if any at all, very pricey)

Section 7

Notes regarding the Lucky Wheel, inside The Diamond Casino and Resort in game.  You can spin this wheel for free once every 24 hours, upon becoming a member by paying $500 for a standard membership, or VIP membership upon buying a penthouse. The timer for your next spin starts when you have spun the wheel for the day. Anyways, there are 2 ways I know of that will give you free clothing, those being the clothing option which is a 4 in 20 chance and the mystery item which is 1 in 20 and cars, chips, clothing and other things can be won with the mystery item spot, which I believe there are 7 categories within the mystery item spot.  You have no control (obviously) over what clothing you get, but I recommend taking a screenshot or something so you know what you got, so its easier to find later.

Here is some information regarding clothing won from the lucky wheel

I had a question about whether or not the mystery item clothes and clothing slots gave out the same items, he responded saying yes, pretty sure there is no difference. I was right, however about it being tops you win. There are a few outfits, but those are the only things that give you clothing on your character besides just where a shirt is. The entire list of items known is linked above and is shared between all the slots that give you clothing.  As I mentioned, the list is a general list that uses the males items names, the difference as mentioned in a post where i asked and responded about this list is that, some shirts like one picture below (the white bigness t shirt or shirt) is called a torn tee for females, this also applies to some of the other shirts on the list as well.

So what do I think so far about the clothing you can win from the lucky wheel, based on what I have personally gotten, none of what I won on either character was super expensive (since I could look at my other character to see the prices), less than 20k for every item I won, in fact as of currently (8-7-19) all the clothing items I have gotten have been less than 10k per item, with most expensive thing being the very first picture you see, the sweater from the after hours update. Which makes sense in my mind as its the most recent update normal clothes were all located at the regular clothing stores (even though the update is more than a year old now) since 90% or more of the casino clothes are in the casino store and bought with chips and not much of the arena war clothing was all that normal, since they had higher prices with the locked icons next to them.

I can only assume that you really only win tops and (a few) outfits from the lucky wheel, since many of the bottoms in game will be only for females. It doesn't seem like shoes would be all that exciting to win and even though some tops are only available for females (bustiers, bikinis, camisoles, etc), Rockstar has the most options in the tops category, as there are 50+ categories of tops that both females and males have that are the same. So I doubt much of any female only clothing would be included, as it would give females more clothing to win and we already have more options than the males do (even though the layering and combos suck most of the time) , so as much as i'd love to win some pricey leggings and things, I am not counting on it or expecting it to happen.

There are only select items from almost every DLC that gave new tops for us to buy, and this includes several items no longer in the game, like masks and special outfits, but all the clothing is relatively normal, not like the crazy war armor tops from arena war.

What winning the clothing does is make it free, so you didn't even have to go to a clothing store to wear it, but I did so because of the other info seen when looking at the clothes in the store. you'll notice it's all from previous updates. Yes, you can buy clothing items from the original Casino update in the clothing store and not the casino store, but most of it is not winnable from spinning the lucky wheel, and the items that are, can only be won with the mystery item.

Now I have a few ideas as to what might happen if you win a clothing item you already own. First off, they might not actually have it as a winnable item (don't think this is the case  for the next reasons) 2, just like if you were to win the podium car a second time, you would get RP, the same may apply to winning clothes you own (regardless of if you own all the clothing of that type or not), 3, you might either get chips or possibly cash for an item you won, that you already owned (not really trusting this idea much either) and lastly maybe there's nothing special and something else not listed here happens.

Section 8

The casino store is very cool and definitely is different from the other stores.  First off, its in the casino and open to everyone. second is that you need chips to buy any of the items inside. 1 chip is 1 dollar in game and you can buy 50k in chips, every in game day for 50k of cash. the items in the store are being rotated each week(no more rotating of items in the casino store that i know of upon the release of the casino heist dlc. with that all being said, what casino store clothing items should you avoid, well lets begin

tops

Fitted suit jackets, leather jackets and bomber jackets (i'm only including these ones, as currently, they are the categories with the highest prices, so you'll have fewer chips to gamble with by buying these items)

The high roller dresses (the most expensive clothing females have in the casino store, probably because they are fancier, I know I said avoid the dresses at the regular store and you should, but there are more than just the high roller dresses to choose from

plus, there is something in game i'll mention shortly that gets you a high roller dress (granted, you can't choose the color) that you are given chips, and RP for in the process)

all the pants and shoes are together in the store, not much for options/variety, but at least they are not very expensive.

Section 9

There isn't much for clothing from the casino that isn't in the casino store, but there is some, but should you avoid any of it

the only thing i was able to find was some t shirts in the special tops category, specifically the casino section and fame or shame section. the casino one has free clothing given out by Rockstar and the fame or shame stuff isn't free, but only like 5k for the most expensive ones, but the big thing here is to just pick one or 2 if any, since they are all very similar (not sure if i have them by default or  the other reason because i have heard that getting certain results from the fame or shame slot machine gives you some clothing, but i have like 20+ items and i heard that the results would give you like 10 or maybe 15, not too sure, but i definitely have gotten good results from playing the fame or shame slot machine)

for the next thing, i said earlier that their are dresses in the store and to avoid the high roller ones, well there is a treasure hunt of 54 playing cards around the map that you get at least 100 chips (near the end, over 2000 chips per card) and a bit of RP for each card collected, when you find all 54, you get the high roller dress for free (as a female, males get a suit of sorts), which looks good and you basically got money (since chips can be turned into cash) to get free clothing.

there is another hunt that will be coming soon where you find 100 action figures and you get chips and RP for finding them and when you collect all those, you get an impotent rage outfit, not as feminine as a dress, but females are beautiful regardless, so embrace what you have

Section 10  casino heist clothing

To my knowledge, no clothing in this dlc is found inside the casino store so no need for chips to pay for any of the following.  However you do have to unlock all the new outfits by doing the casino finale using outfits and doing prep work for others. For this reason, i am going to completely ignore prices for all the outfits since you will be spending money upfront to unlock the ability to buy any of them anyways. i personally have not done anything to unlock these outfits to know there prices but i estimate them to vary from around 10k to 100+k or more, especially for the armored outfits. another thing regarding the outfits needing to be unlocked, my advice is to look in the clothing store at the various outfits to find out what you like and want to use in the heist. (i dont know all the details of unlocking them, but i dont think you would unlock all the outfits at once, probably just the category of outfits you used, but i could be wrong)

i could go into so much detail regarding different aspects of the casino heist outfits, but players will all vary in opinions so ill be speaking in general terms on the armored outfits only, due to them having the same unlock requirement and probably costing the most.

orderly armor and upscale armor outfits     are the most normal outfits with armor in my mind and so in the heist you may want to avoid them for a variety of reasons, but overall i think they are decent (of course a lot of us want non combat styled clothes for our girls to wear but yeah kind of expected it to happen)

evening armor is the traditional heist tuxedos and suits with armor in them, pretty cool, again i think they are decent, but its up to you in the end

all the reinforced armor outfits are a good bet in heists for protection (depends on your approach and things, but ill not get into that here) not a fan of them really but use over looks might be different for you

all crook outfits are semi casual just covers you up to not identify yourself, same feeling with these as the evening armor, so there's my stance

all infiltration outfits, i have the same thoughts with these as the reinforced armor but i like them slightly more since they have a cleaner look in my mind, but of course your opinion may vary

specialty outfits include (firefighter, fib, maintenance, bug stars, groupe sehs, prison) all these outfits really are up to you, they are unique so i cant say to avoid them if you have interest in them

Section 11

When it comes to pants and things for females, many of them are female specific (skirts, bikini bottoms, panties, leggings, stockings, etc), not saying avoid them, but do limit yourself for each of the categories

Didn't really include shoes/footwear on this list as the only thing as a female you need to be aware of is that heels change your height and some shoes will change the the types of pants you have on, so be aware of that. The most common thing I have noticed is not being able to wear taller (knee high) boots with pretty much any pants that aren't short in length (ex bikinis, panties, some skirts and shorts since these vary slightly)

When more, new or better info comes out related to this topic, i'll be sure to add in in. Hope this helps some of you out, thanks for your time

I don't think this is what people had in mind when Rockstar talked about luxury and high end fashion.

Based on the number of "Fortnite" themed gamertags I've seen in GTA Online and Rockstar's track record concerning what constitutes a "high end" or "luxury" item, those masks are almost exactly what I was expecting.

I had high hopes for some cool stuff in after hours dlc, they messed that up because everyone wears military clothing and t shirts only to night clubs. I had moderate hope for some good clothing and maybe even some new hairstyles in the casino dlc, they messed that up too because everyone wears some wierd baggy shorts and t shirts to casinos. I now have no hope. I hope the clothing designer gets arthritis

Also, less is more on the design front. Having logos on clothing is fine. Having logos covering every inch of brightly coloured outfits is ridiculously overdoing it.

With a few minor exceptions, the clothing in the Casino is what i'd expect to see in Binco. High end it is not.

It is pretty obvious that there's very little effort put into these items too - that horrible, shapeless parka model shares the exact same texture with an equally horrible and shapeless shirt model, both of which already existed in game. It really is a ten minute job to replace a texture and export a new version of an item, yet we never see basic plain coloured variations of items... always with the horrendous logos and garish colours. I love the off shoulder tops available to us, but I just want a few plain ones (red, blue, black, silver metallic) to wear with leather and denim jackets - logos on clothes have never appealed to me and unsurprisingly this also extends to items with juvenile innuendos plastered all over them.

Also, why do R* recycle these crappy clothing elements like they're going out of fashion but create detailed interiors and locations in game that players see once and are then locked off forever?

I don't know crap about fashion, but I agree with this very much. They look terrible.

I've run across a few Youtube vids of young women doing swimsuit hauls" from new swimwear companies.

R* for GTA 6 needs to team up with one or more of these brands and do a swimwear line with full blown stores. They should have range from full coverage competition one pieces varying to small micro bikinis and slingshot styles and everything in between.  Along with coverups, bags, hats and other accessories.

They honestly need to listen to people on the forum pages for ideas on clothing. I hate all the retextured stuff. They were heading in the right direction with the Party Tank Tops, now they just need to add more styles. They also need to just add more clothing in the game in general. Along with making things more organized. I feel the lists are getting pretty long or we should have a quick scroll option. I have so many ideas on types of clothing they should add, I just wish I had somewhere to let my ideas run free.

At the very least, hire A) at least one woman for the character design team (because I'm almost certain there aren't any on there at the moment!), and B) make sure at least one person is looking at contemporary LA fashion for inspiration.

Like with cars, it continues to baffle and frustrate me that there's no logic to whatever gets added - GTAO had the chance to take the already remarkable environment of Los Santos, and expand it even further, fleshing out locations, vehicles, etc., and using the real world as inspiration for new content, making the place feel even more lifelike.

Heck, it wouldn't take much more than just wandering around some shops, looking at what people on the street are wearing, flipping through style magazines, that sort of thing. A cursory Google search, and you wouldn't even need to leave the office...

Honestly, GTAO is such an inconsistent mess these days, with no clear vision for it. Just 'throw random ideas at the wall, and see what sticks' - and by 'what sticks', that means 'whatever is hype-able, and drives up that Recurrent Consumer Spending™'. :turn:

The bold part would certainly solve most of the fashion voids currently plaguing the game's choices.

I'm pretty sure no further research would be necessary if my daughter is any kind of representative example, she'd already be very well versed in what to add.

It's possible there are females on the design team but their ideas get downvoted when it comes time to add content, but if they were there you would think R* would be smart enough to use their judgement in areas where all the others are in the dark.

==============================================================================================================================

One of the big attractions to the game (for me at least) is how realistic the map and environment is.

I've never been to LA but have used Google maps and street view to extensively virtual tour around the city, and they really did a remarkable job of capturing a lot of areas in snapshot style.

I agree that more could certainly be done in that vein, at least a 2 or 3 of the construction sites could be turned into real showpieces.

It's been 6 years after all, surely they can't all be that far behind schedule!
