Dear r* (regarding overall female clothing choices)

Jerking For Soup

Vehicles are a main part of GTA, clothes aren't. Rockstar should focus on delivering new maps, features and vehicles and leave clothing as a side thing. I doubt many males would be angry with this.

If you start a clothing wishlist thread, very well. However, there's no need to fill up the Online section with threads of clothing ideas. It's not needed, and I doubt it can match up with the importance of other features.

New Map > New Vehicles > New Weapons > New Clothing.

I still vote for male and females to share clothes, hairstyles, and tattoos...

I think it's more realistic for both genders to get clothing, etc. that fits the same theme, but are still different in order to fit either gender the best. The exact same clothing style doesn't always work. For example, if R* opens up Bahama Mama's, women should get stuff like dresses, while men should get some different styled suits and more. I feel this would do both genders the most justice. They'd always have to get about the same amount of content, though, to keep it fair

You'll be waiting till GTA IV then as a new map isn't coming. Rockstar have never opened a new map to an old title, instead using the exsiting map for the new DLC.

It's not unthinkable that LC gets touched up a little for Online. Keep in mind that GTA has drastically changed with the new Online concept. It's a different game now and as such, different things can be expected from R*. Many things are possible

Why is it fine for everyone else to say they'd like this and that in GTAO, but as soon as it's something about girls' clothes some people get all uptight about it?

I'm not; I'm definitely all for everything that's been mentioned in this thread.

It's since this belongs in the wishlist thread. Tons of others have done it, so why not OP? Are clothes that special to deserve their own thread?

It's fine that you want that. I personally want new DLC too. But please, please, please, for the love of Lord Vader, post that in the Wishlist Thread.

Well if I can make a thread about the Hunter, and that hasn't been locked, I don't see why this thread shouldn't exist.

What is it with everyone being so strict about what belongs where anyway? If it was hurting anyone, the mods/admins would know about it.

More clothes would be a good thing. I would like to see the restrictions removed at a minimum though.

No one will be waiting long for that GTA4 (GTAIV) is already out. Now GTA6 (GTAVI) no idea when that weill be released.

I wasn't aiming that part at you it's the others who for some reason are set dead against this idea.

Some people just love to hate.

There's not really a logical reason for it either, just BS like "it's not the sims", etc. No s**t it's not the Sims - that's completely irrelevant anyway. GTA's got everything; don't need people trying to dumb it down and adding false labels as to what it is.

Oh well, more fool them - the more they come here and hate, the more this thread gets bumped and stays in the spotlight.

Hey when the community comes together and agrees the female side needs a bit love you know it's a problem.

As for the guy saying wish list thread I'm sure they seen this by now and maybe agrees with me. One thing for sure is if people complained about the bike physics and after r* changed it and changed it back to the stunting one. Anything is possible. But the layering problem needs to be fixed before anything else. Then nail polish because again saints row has it should be a easy task for r*

As some have already mentioned, the game lacks the possibility to combine different clothes. Why we can't wear knee high boots over leggings, leather pants and most jeans is beyond me. Or that necklaces can't be worn with bangles. Or skirts and shorts over stockings. So many combinations yet no way to do it. Being able to actually remove tops why wearing a jacket without having to glitch. Allow us to remove logos without glitching or just give us the option to manually change the color of most tops. I could go on forever.

True, but lets put it this way. Theres more clothes than vehicles. Clothes play a big part online, allowing us to make our characters unique in our own way. If all we had were the outfits over the counter, we'd pretty much look all the same.

Add to that that GTA has changed, expanded. Online is different. Personalisation is more important, of which clothing are an unmissable part

Besides, you can play GTAO without ever owning a custom personal vehicle (why anyone would, I don't know, but technically...) - meanwhile, it's literally impossible to play GTAO without a custom character. ;)

If customisation wasn't an important aspect, R* wouldn't make a big deal of advertising designer clothing (and charging us through the nose for it...) - heck, if 'character appearance doesn't matter', then why didn't R* say "f*ck it", and just give us generic NPC models to use online? :p

Even I liked this post and I usually hate the anti - military feelings some have about GTA.

It is about time they really boosted the amount of clothes females got.

We still desperately need the Hunter though (just in case anyone thought I didn't think we did).

Also, @PsychoGamer: You're just helping to bump up this thread, so I hope you keep arguing with people here lol.

There's no reason the things in this thread shouldn't be implemented into the game.

Its not even about the military, i just want proper camouflage in a game, where you kill other people. Its not any more wrong than some fancy dresses, is it? I am pretty sure, females have the same amount of clothes as male, if not even more (and better ones). You'll never get the Hunter, as R* is busy with all the clothes. You remember what i said about the hostage? I'll upload the photos later. There is no reason to implement new missions either, or fixing all the bugs, but damn... we really need nail polish huh?

Males don't need a lot of clothes.

Females, on the other hand ... 10 isn't even close to enough.

Make up 10% of the player base, yet demand 60% of all clothes. R* should've never allowed a female character (no offense, my opinion). All females can play as males, and have the same sh*tty clothes as we do.

Someone hold onto my handbag (which I still would love to be added into GTA) , because what backwards life are you living right now?

If Rockstar didn't create a female character, it would generalize all males as being criminals and females being portrayed by the likes of Tracey, Amanda and the other minority characters. These characters are shown in a stereotypical way. Its 2016 hun'. Accept the fact that females are out there playing many games. Fifa 16 added Womens football teams for once, and it was game changing for many players including myself.

We play GTA singleplayer as men. All past games in the GTA franchise have been men. No-one is complaining. We are simply suggesting ideas for what we would like to see to make our character fashionable on this thread. It isn't hurting anyone, no-one is saying "Stop producing missions and other content and just make us clothes!". We are SUGGESTING.

Also your dresses remark? Okay we have dresses, but they are from the 1920's. Nothing modern.

Also your "make up 10% player base". Show me your statistics and facts then talk to me hun'. Also maybe more would play online and GTA if we didn't receive "I'm gonna r*** you!" "You b***** let slap this ***" "w****" "damn look at that ass" and many other derogatory terms from certain players (not everyone, there is many wonderful people out there) and of course if we had better clothes.

Well you have the Hunter on your side (that's me, by the way).

This so much. I don't really care much about customization, and barely put any time into dressing my character. And I still think this definitely needs to happen, and there's just not enough right now.
Just because certain people don't care for clothes, doesn't mean they should s**t all over this. They've already had plenty of their favourite parts of the game; now it's time for females/men with female characters. To be honest, my favourite part of the game is horrendously inadequate (helicopters), but I'm not going to sit here and take it out on anyone else. People need to think beyond just themselves for once.
And that "it's GTA, not the Sims" s**t just does not even deserve the dignity of a counter argument.
If GTA is just about cars, then take out aircraft, guns, even going on foot. Oh hold on a minute, that's really stupid and nobody wants that.
I support this thread 100%.

I bet the designer in charge for the in-game clothing isn't a female. Shirt doesn't fit right. Dress doesn't match anything. The shoes are no Jimmy Choos.... Omggg...

What R* needs to do is fire their current team working on the fashion and hire a whole new group altogether. Even if they aren't the best a fresh new mind would most likely help

What R* really needs to do is have their designer(s) just leave the office and hang out with actual people for a bit.

Like I've said before, if things like normal, tidy hairstyles or regular t-shirts in plain colours are bizarre, alien concepts to you, then you clearly need to spend more time in the real world... :p
