I think he may have actually believed that he was in the war and that thats how he lost his arm.. he was pretty f*cked up. This has gotta be my favorite mission, who woulduve thought R* would make a mission where you have to drive drunk hahaha, I never noticed the arm thing either. I think I remember Ray from gta3 saying sometimething like he was never really in the army... how would he get that tight weapons connect tho? in gta3 phil was the guy who owned the army barracks, he was friends with ray. Lab Rat Posted February 14, 2003 Share Posted February 14, 2003 i don't think so, i mean in vice city phil is shown as a liar (ken says "theres this guy who thinks he was in the army" or something) and the same deal is in GTA III. in both games he refers to the army. now he was drunk and mentioning army/war while his arm was blown off so his mind probably was confused (i confuse dreams and reality occassionaly) and i wouldnt admit i blew my own arm off, i would make up a story. I think it's more likely he lied about nicaragua and getting his arm blown off in the war so he didn't have to tell people the embarassing fact that he lost it in a boomshine accident while high. People change alot in 20 years especialy @ that age. Phil(vice)&Phil(gta3) aint that different to me. Just the age. Whadya thinka my smilie?
