Retroview1955
They say it is a P**** tactic, while they are on the ground spamming RPG's and Mini-Guns? Is that more manly and legit? That's because it is a cheesy tactic. I have respect for the dude that can compete with a good ground game, not the pu$$y that is passive, runs for a jet, crashes or gets shot down, goes passive again and repeats this process. You start playing cheesy and grief me with a Hydra, I'll keep RPG suiciding when you strafe at me. I get the kill on you and you don't get one on me! So I still win! Next... DarkRayquaza99
If you want to interrupt the vip work, then at least do it on an even playing ground, please. Nobody has a good time with your flying Death Machine™. The playing ground being the ground (but sea works too). Just thinking about jets gives me exhaustion. PvTails
So yall would hate to see me. 30 K/D in a jet. I could kill everyone on the ground but I dont feel like fighting double teams and RPG spammers, and Kuruma guys. If you want to kill me take me out in a jet or waste homing launchers, maybe by the 1000th launch youll get me lol. I'm probably That guy that goes 1 on 1 when you guys start griefing. CarimboHanky
i used to hate the jets but then a jet griefer took me under her wing and teached me the art of jet griefin...and its simply great! to be honest, like i have said many times in the past, becoming a jet griefer is like the natural evolution of the freeroam warrior. you can only kill that many people on the ground til the brain stop releasing that little dose of dopamine that make you feel great. i had over 44k player kills on the ground at the moment i started using the jet, ground pvp felt dull for me at the time. learning the jet breathed new life into the game for me. now i not only can kick your ass on the ground but can kick your ass on the air haha seriously people that hate the jet should really go out and try to learn to use the thing properly, it would change your perspective. I don't hate jets, I hate people that use jets to kill others well its a jet... what am i supposed to with it? SkynetOnlineID
People hate the fighter jets because trolls and griefers use them to get easy kills. They're too "overpowered" for them. Forgetting the fact that fighter jets are meant to be very overpowered to begin with. A real fighter jet could do a lot worse. They say it takes no skill to use but it actually does depending on how you use it. Anyone can use the lock on missiles. Using the jet cannon and getting your kill very quickly in a single strafe requires skill. You need a high level of focus and reaction skill to do that. Also practice. Mokuakae
Jets don't bother me. But the pilots seem like the lonely players in the session. Flying about on their own looking for attention.
scs151
I don't know what the whole problem is maybe because you are on consoles (don't mean anything by is just that the game is a bit different). For example kuruma griefers are really easy to kill they hardly manage to do anything if you know what to do 1 rocket/sticky/grenade and they are done.(no autoaim since PC) For insurgent you ider snipe them or just use minigun or assault rifle to kill them not that hard as well. Jets die quite fast too, from my experience most can't dodge homing missile even if they do the heavy sniper tactic works really well. The most annoying people on PC are definetly tanks if a player is good apart from a jet or buzzard you have little chance. scaldy78
I have the hydra for my main character but I only really use it for Paleto Bay transport. I will say that I do use the fighter jet when I get the steal a military vehicle objective. Then I'll go and practice strafing ground targets. Actually managed to kill a VIP doing executive search with like 45 seconds left. I must have strafed like 20 times lol. I did feel a little bad, but not as much as I felt good lol. Still not something I'm interested in doing on the regular.
Logistics
It's the only thing that requires some degree of skill in the game and they are afraid of going 1 vs 1 in the jet because they'll be dominated.
Da Elite Ninjah
They say it is a P**** tactic, while they are on the ground spamming RPG's and Mini-Guns? Is that more manly and legit? Do 100 batles between RPG and jet. Do 100 battles between mini-gun and a jet. If the Jet wins more than 150 of those battles you could say it's kinda overpowered. Because of that people who keep on using it are kinda pussy. The jet will win more than 180 of those battles so there is your answer Blizzrd

SkylineGTRFreak
Oh Jets... fought a... clan? a few days ago. Consisted of 4 >200 players who suicided when being close to death. Well, I thought f*ck it and got a Hydra, obliterated them a few times until they went in passive and sent obligatory "you pussy" messages. While responding to one of them, they're newly joined "ace" pilot closed in and... didn't even get a hit on me. After 30 seconds, that guy was down (Note that he flew a Lazer). I then went into passive and enjoyed their butthurt messages. I have a feeling like the biggest ground griefers are those who whine the most about Jets. They hamper their precious K/Ds while they themselves just suck too much on an equal playing field (jet vs jet). And it's always hilarious. (Same with jet griefers who probably never heard of a dogfight before)
CaptainMental
The jets are innocent. It's the sad cases that hide in them that are the problem. Jets are frustrating to some people cause they are hard to counterattack when the pilot is skilled. One can only go passive really. You don't need to be a skilled pilot to avoid the utterly pointless and ineffective homing launcher.no, but you need to be skilled to be able to hit players without crashing, especially if the player is on foot. BatFerYou
Complains about miniguns and RPGs. Uses a flying minigun with explosive rounds. Dumbest sh*t I've read in here in a long time. Because it's an obvious troll. Look at you all coming in with your cool bro stories. OP must me laughing her tits off. Fact is, the jet is the most powerful weapon in the game and it's free, comes with infinite ammo and has endless respawns. Anyone stupid enough to go into a public free mode session and be killed repeatedly by opportunists deserves all they get. The reactions in this thread are the equivalent of "hey I left my front door wide open and put an ad on TV saying my front door was open and I got burgled, what the f*ck?" Moo. Baa. Oink, Sheeple. 0delay
I love when people use the heavy sniper against me it poses a challenge. I try not to bully low levels though sometimes when 5 of em get in a truck I have to blow them up once. The midsection of the Mile High Construction site is perfect for countering jets. Granted you have to fly there, but there are plenty of spots to poke out & fire from any direction. The netting around that whole level also somehow protects you even from jet cannons. Love that place, sniped many a Jet addict (and Tank driver) from there. Also a big fan of the top of the control tower at Zancudo. Hey pilots aren't too good at dodging homing rockets when they're scuttling across the runway in a car trying to get their safety blanket back. I need my jet waaaaaaa ... BOOM! Then they get a turn at being on the other end of spawn killing, on the beach by means if sniper. It usually ends in passive or leaving pretty quickly. Nacho Z
They say it is a P**** tactic, while they are on the ground spamming RPG's and Mini-Guns? Is that more manly and legit? Well, I hate jets because they disrupt the activities I'm doing at the time. Nothing more; nothing less. I see them mostly as a distraction. Same for me, when a jet shows up it just means I have to put passive on and wait for them to bugger off. It's a waste of my time and theirs. On a more personal note a lot of the jet pilots I've seen tend to leave the session or go into hiding when they crash so as to avoid the retribution they have coming to them. This isn't something I admire.

aaronBLUEeyes
Because of assholes using Jets to grief everyone on the map. .Vooodu.
People don't hate jets. Thats just a myth... everyone loves it... They love getting peppered by unlimited exploding bullets from the most OP vehicle/weapon in the game when minding their own business. It gives them a chance to stop having fun and focus on one idiot in the jet till hes gone. Such a fun thing to do on a daily basis.
