Like on one of those beat em up games when theres a particular move that instantly knocks your player down without you being able to defend against it properly and doesnt give you time to get back up before they repeat the move. Cheap tactics by cheap people. The sort of people who played Goldenye 64 and always chose Oddjob as their character. Those types. The type who people introduce as 'abit of a character'. It's opinion based really, but mainly it's because: - How readily available they are. - Some people just don't put in the effort to avoid them. - Some people don't like jets anyway, thus hate on users. So no, it's not much different from RPG & Mini-gun spammers. Trollers & Griefers of both abuse passive mode & take every advantage they can, thus why people hate them in combination While the players may change, the tool stays the same. Players are gonna grief no matter what. The difference is anyone can get in a kuruma with their friends and grief a lobby with their auto aim ap pistols. Not every player can successfully handle a lobby in a jet. So naturally players will say its not fair. Its like giving a quarter of players a new super car that the other 3 quarters cant play with. As much as some will say flying a jet takes no skills based on my experiences I have to disagree. You don't need to be a skilled pilot to avoid the utterly pointless and ineffective homing launcher. Actually the most fun is pelting jet griefers with just a few Heavy Sniper rounds. 1 of 3 things happens: - They get frustrated as to why their jet engine is shutting down, struggle to keep it airborne & crash. - They bail, enter passive & run to get another, which can be intercepted. - They leave when they realize some people know there are other ways than wasting thousands of dollars on HL ammo to take down a jet. That's why I always step in when there is a jet griefer in a lobby of level 89s or lower. That Heavy Sniper is fun as f*ck. Now, add that to passive mode and being in a flying ultra-rapid and maneuverable machine that can dodge missiles and is impervious to a lot of ground threats. I'll let you do the maths. Granted you have to fly there, but there are plenty of spots to poke out & fire from any direction. The netting around that whole level also somehow protects you even from jet cannons.
