Dubsta 2 (custom) spawn strategies

No reason to drive slow. I just drive straight up the hill from LSC at full speed, hang a left between the first and second tree north of that intersections and drive the road back down at full speed.

I gotta respectfully disagree with you there. The Sandking spawns are 100%, IF you drive slow. They don't always trigger if you drive fast. I'm gonna assume that the same principle applies to the other spawns.

Maybe not 100%, but at least 90%, and I bet it's faster over all to drive full speed and make another lap if required than to drive slow. It's the same coming from the back side. I filled up my garage many times looping between the garage and the spawn point going full bore, and the spawn rate was at least 90%.

My crew has done the homework and we've been spawning dubstas for over a year and a half since they stopped spawning up the hill. This is my video, my method and use it at your leisure. I've helped a few people in this thread but hopefully this helps you out. I've made over 30 million selling this truck. I'm open for questions. We've perfected it and it is multiplayer sufficient. For single players it works also. Just gotta user the 'top of the hill' method we speak about drunkenly in the video.

Couldnt believe my eyes when i watched that video......... but Klutch14u and i have just done it, he filled my garage up in no time at all! (Xbox One - works exactly the same). Thanks man :)

I'm having good luck now with the Sentinel spawn, so I've pretty much switched to that, which means I don't have to drive to/from Sandy Shores. It doesn't pay as quite as well, but it's convenient, and I have two 10 car garages near there to store them in. It also works with any car, so I can just do a couple of drivebys (or even flybys if I'm in a helicopter) and pick them up if I'm in the area at the right time.

I'm thinking about trying the two person method for getting the Dubstas. If it really is near 100%, I may need to find a Dubsta buddy.

Hit me up on XB1 if that's what you're on. Once you can get that first one it's easy as pie. You just really need an airport garage to make it viable.

Cheers klutch, top man!

I tried the Dubsta spawn solo again in DoS, and found a Dubsta first try using the 3-car method. After that I didn't spawn anything else there. I tried everything I could think of, including starting DoS two more times, but the parking lot was barren. It look like the two person method is the only one that works reliably.

^^ I'm convinced it's random. Last night, my first drive round in an Invite-Only session (no mission, about ~2 p.m. GTA time) spawned a gold Dubsta 2.

Yep, the only way to do it repeatedly is to have 2+ people and the host can never enter their garage. Do that and it's one after the other but someone else has to host it for the previous host to get more than 1 (host can take one at the end)

When we have 4 players in the session, after filling their garages up, the host gets 4 dubstas by having each player drive to Mors Mutual then spawning another one. After each player has a Dubsta including the host they all drive back to the garage and give the host the Dubsta.

Now the host has at least 4 he can use. A little gratuity for the mulling!

Oh awesome. I thought they had to get pulled into a garage/off the map in order to get another so that's fine information. Bad thing is I doubt I'll ever be able to coordinate that many people together at once

Anyway man, thanks for this great info on how to do this. Mid-town hints would be mucho appreciated too ;) I've tried it from about every angle I can think of and am just not seeing a good traffic pattern

Why do the players have to drive to Mors Mutual?

Also, how long does it usually take to spawn the first one? In the video it was he first time, but is that the norm? If one doesn't spawn, do you just drive straight back to the original starting spot and wait for 3 cars to pass again?

Mors I don't know, STN will likely say as to why. Although it's likely just a good distance away and not specific location.

First one takes the amount the first one takes anytime. I started to use a bait Dubsta in hopes to massage it into giving me the Dubsta. I got one right away with Goofy the Scot last night. I actually got the first while he was blowing up the truck and then just watched it until he was ready. I agree, I was a little thrown off the first time I used STN's method thinking I'd have one right out of the gate with the 1, 2, 3 method. Just have to be patient. Once you get one though it's over so it's well worth it.

Even in a single player setting trying to spawn the on the bridge using the bait and switch method is probably best.

Mors Mutual for familiarity, distance, and respawn. Treat it like you'd spawn any other dubsta. Instead of driving to the garage drive to Mors, the host would drive to the garage as if he/she is picking the player up. Once they get parallel with the street Mors is on do the 2 down method. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Credit to KNOT_Crazy in my crew for this portion of the method. Works like a dream.

You can use this same method in Burton in a sense. I'm a bit mum on it for a list a reasons but just gotta work with the info given here and you'll be able to get it going. Use visual aides coupled with distance and the Dubsta and you'll be able to get it going. Just gotta develop it, sorry I'm not giving the goods but this airport way is the best I can give. I've already gave someone who joined asked for a Dubsta the 'inside' info La Mesa.

The reason I gave up the goods on the Airport location because I saw so many people struggling. Now that people aren't struggling and they have a method of getting dubstas I can keep the rest a tad bit under wraps and keep it developmental in my crew.

Ok, understood. Figured it was similar, Burton just has so many attack angles. I'll figure something out, or not. Thanks

I think that's the beauty about Burton is so many angles can be used and there are so many ways to create methods that work. I can say that my crew have at least 4-5 ways we use to get them going in great succession. Just gotta find one that works for you and devise a way to make it flow.

I'll let you know that with the 3 up two down method I come from the North and I drive in from the west to get mine to spawn. I also have spawn garages at each LSC for filling up garages with them.

That's a good reference to see how much you've made selling cars so far.

I tried posting a screenshot but to no avail. I'll post it elsewhere and link it. Hope that helps people gauge how much they've made before they started farming Dubstas!

SMH at people still not getting how ineffective the D2 is for farming to sell. If you find it fun doing it with your mates then go for it.

If you need two people and you both want full garages, you only keep every other one, right? Is that simple enough? And you have to launch a mission, and the first one can take a while? And you can't access LSC during the mission, so you have to drive home each time.

If you just want a high value car to sell every 48m, store 6 Sandkings in 5-6 minutes.

If you want a D2 then all power to you, but to believe they are useful for selling is to entirely misunderstand how money works.

Not a diss, just the fax ma'am.

Yep, believe the Sandking was mentioned, in high regard, several times throughout this thread. This whole threads point was intended to determine a reliable, in city, way of making them feasible. STN's method coupled with the two 10 car garages by the airport can make very quick work of filling them up and an easy $20K+ mission to do so. Seems pretty reasonable to me for an extra 5-6K per vehicle if you're willing to perfect and work at it a little

Sandkings along with a single 6 car garage in that area, I found myself having to re-supply too frequently.

Exactly, but it's actually $7-8k per vehicle, since he has to pay $2k for a tracker on each one.

I used to farm Sandkings, but switched to Sentinels, which are just a fast to collect, two 10-car garages are right there, and it's in town, so it's much more convenient.

But... this thread is about Dubsta 2 spawn strategies. The sandking and sentinel strategies are discussed in length in other threads.

Why do you keep trying to derail this thread? You posted basically the exact same thing about a month ago.

I'm not derailing it, you're just reading the title and not the OP. It's explicitly about whether the D2s are better than the SKs for farming to sell.

I spend so much time trying to collect a good inventory of the Dubsta's I'm not sure the extra $5K per truck is worth it over the blue Sandking. I might ditch the Dubsta and stick to the Sandkings if I can't get this figured out.

And it's 15.5K average for the Sandkings with trackers, not 7-8, actually slightly higher because the first one you spawn you sell without a tracker.

But you're partially right in that I've exhausted all attempts to try and explain why a solo 1 minute method is better than a two-man mission method. All I can say is I'd hire you all in a second seeing how I can hire your mate too and pay you both one salary.

No. The OP clearly states that he already knows how to farm Sandkings. He's specifically asking for Dubsta spawn strategies.

I don't know what you're talking about 15.5k vs 7-8. You sell Sandkings for ~$15.5k profit, whereas Dubstas sell for ~$23k, which is ~$7.5k (~50%) more per car.

Also, we're not just doing this to make a profit. There's some fun in trying to figure these things out. Maybe there is a solo way that will be discovered. In the mean time I'm still selling mostly blue Sentinels, with a few Dubstas and Dominators mixed in for a bit of extra profit.

He's asking if there's any strategy that makes it worth it. IE, what is the difference between D2 and SK strategies. I only posted the guide because people seem to be a bit dim in here so I wanted to try to visually explain why 6 cars in 5 minutes is better than 10 cars in an hour, even if they sell for less.

If you can't figure out why D2s aren't worth it then whatever, enjoy the circle jerk.

If you're going to continue to argue the opposite then I'm going to continue to correct you, for the benefit of anyone reading the thread.

There's already a thread dedicated to Dubsta spawning. Try posting there.

FWIW I was playing with D2 spawn strategies around 2 years before any of you joined this forum.

Pretty sure STN's method has proven you completely wrong. You can run a single mission and fill 2-10 car garages in about 30-40 minutes and both players (or more) get what $22K for the mission and RP. Don't see it as a waste of time. Hunting singles probably is, unless you enjoy the hunt. But ok, you did it before anyone else. Guess you didn't come across STN's method before him. Stick to the desert Sandkings then.

Anyway, anyone that's interested in doing this and not a Sandking only guy. I can confirm after yesterdays update that STN's method still works, flawlessly.

A couple of tweaks I've played with. One guy go destroy the trucks in DOS while the other starts working on the initial Dubsta spawn. No reason for both to fly. Worked great and I had one already waiting when they got done. I've been setting one in the parking lot where they spawn to try and massage it and driving one. I also experimented with when you come back up the hill not waiting for 2 cars. Just pulling back out of the lot at a reasonable rate of speed and straight up the hill there would be another one every single time. Still not inclined to say for sure waiting is not needed but I certainly had good luck with just heading straight to it.

Edited to add. I've confirmed the bridge method is still a great option both in and out of mission as well after the latest update.

How can he drag the thread OT when he's the OP?

I think we've made some very good progress in this thread. Maybe it's not the most profitable $/hour yet, but it may be someday. Someone had to work out the fastest (currently known) process of farming Sandkings/Sentinels. Those are pretty well solved, so why not work on Dubstas?

Some of us enjoy the challenge and it gives us something to do when our garages are full and we're tired of mission grinding. If you don't want to participate then go troll somewhere else.
